Chapter 33

"I need sometime alone" she said to him and immediately chanted a spell and disappeared, the others headed back to the castle quietly.
Queen irine had gotten to the castle and began searching for the young queen, she moved to the room that was reserved for her and could smell her there, she knocked on the door but was answered by the sound of a sobbing lady, she pushed the door open and stepped into the dark room, she couldn't see clearly and she tried to click on the light switch.
"don't!" queen Laura said with a teary voice and then she created a bright light in a ball form and let them flow round the room beautifully. She was sat on the bed and queen irine walked closer and sat on the bed beside her.
"I'm sorry about what my husband said" queen irine said almost in a whisper but loud enough of the Luna to hear.
"he was right. I can never fit into her life, I am an indecent mother and my indecent decisions brought her to existence" the witch queen bowed her face in her palms, avoiding queen irine glare.
"you are not an indecent mother. You did what you did for your kingdom and even at that young age, you kept the child. Not every woman would do that" queen irine comforted her,
"but I don't fit in. I look like a threat that's here to take her from you" queen Laura complained sadly and finally looked up with a sudden teary face.
"you are her mother; we are the threat here" queen irine said,
"but your other family, they won't want to lose her, and she would never want to leave her"
"they would understand. I know you're thinking so much about my husband's word and reactions. He was only scared of her getting hurt"
"I'm not going to hurt my own daughter intentionally" queen Laura said wiping her face,
"and I know you won't, you were trying to protect her"
Just then the was knock on the door and they both looked up at the already opened door. The alpha stood there quietly and then he stepped inside. They all remained silently, staring at him.
"are you going to say something, or we should continue the staring competition?" queen irine asked her husband and he moved his eyes directly to queen Laura,
"I am sorry about everything" he bowed slightly and walked closer to her he held her hands and she looked up at him in surprise. She peeped at queen irine to check her reaction, but she was calm,
"listen to him" queen irine smiled at her and she looked back at the king.
"I was wrong, I shouldn't have said that and not in public too" he apologized,
"and not in front of Jupiter, she must be feeling really bad" queen irine added, glaring at her husband.
"yes, I am really, really sorry. You are her mother, you birthed her, and you sent that wonderful child to us and she was the best gift I ever received. And I'll always be grateful to you. I was scared, scared of Jupiter getting hurt, I wanted her to be fine" he explained in a sober tone.
"I would never hurt Jupiter, she's all I have" queen Laura justified herself and he nodded slightly at her
"and I apologize greatly for getting you all wrong" he said to her,
"I thought I was a bad mother" she bowed her head, fighting the tears,
"you are not, you came back to look for your child and you made sure she was protected, that's enough a young single mother could do" he answered, trying his best to comfort her.
"would I ever fit in?" she asked, and he sighed heavily, regretting all he had said earlier,
"you already got into her life, you had been there from the start, you've been there from the start in her heart and her dreams, she calls you mother" he tried to justify the situation,
"calling me mother doesn't mean anything" queen Laura cried,and he held her very close, hugging and patting the already crying lady.
"Jupiter loves you, we all know that. We see it in her eyes and the respect she gives to you, even the attention. Don't worry yourself about nothing" queen irine smiled at her
"I'm sorry Laura" king Desmond apologized, and she nodded then she sniffed slightly, raising her head upward,
"thank you so much" queen Laura appreciated the alpha and lune and they both nodded,
"Jupiter ran away. She vanished" king Desmond said, and the ladies widen their eyes in surprise.
"like disappeared?" queen Laura asked
"where do you think she would be?" queen irine questioned this time, glaring at her husband,
"her room?" he suggested, and the woman shook her head negatively,
"she hasn't been to that room since she came back and she had intentionally avoided it" the Luna explained to the others
"what if we ask mercury, she might have an idea" queen Laura said with a sad expression
They hurried out of the room and immediately bumped into Jordan who was running towards them and breathing heavily.
"what is the problem?" queen irine enquired as she noticed something was wrong
"he's here" Jordan and queen Laura said at the same time and they glanced at her, confused at how she knew,
"I can smell him, his presence" queen Laura continued in panic
"like he got in? into the boundary?" king Desmond asked as they began walking down the corridor to the hall
"we didn't protect the boundary like we ought to, there are more witches with him" queen Laura answered,
"we need to find Jupiter" queen irine exclaimed worriedly and they all began to move out,
"where is mercury and the others? We need to gather them together" king Desmond said,
"they mentioned going in search of Jupiter, but I don't know where" Jordan answered, and they got confused about where to begin,
They walked outside the hall and from the boundary, they could see the forest but couldn't' see further to the parts where the vampires stayed.
"his vampires can't step in here; they can only fight the vampires at the boundary" Jordan said,
"they are already battling. And they are witches which are lurking around" queen Laura said,
"look down!" queen irine pointed at her right. They all followed her gaze and they could see the already transformed wolves battling with three people on black and their identity was covered.
"witches" Jordan said to the others,
"go and find the children and Jupiter, I and Jordan would handle the witches" queen Laura said and they all agreed before running off to different directions.
Jupiter dried her eyes and got up from the bed. She looked around the familiar dark room where she had once stayed in. she didn't like the darkness it emitted and produce, she could believe she had once lived in it, she had made it dark and she didn't want it that way again. But then she could sense a dark power around, she walked to the window and pushed it open, the lights quickly found its way into the room and spread around it, the rays of sunlight beautified the room perfectly.
As she looked out of the window, she gasped in surprise and was equally speechless and immediately she turned to move out of the room, but she bumped into a tall figure and she flinched backward, and the man smiled at her wickedly.
"and here we are again" he laughed "physically and alone"
"what do you want?" she shouted angrily and moving backwards,
"must you always be aggressive? Well I'm here to take my beautiful daughter" he smiled at her and then he looked around the room, nodding with a satisfactory smile.
"I am not your daughter? She fired in anger and peeped out of the window and she frowned at what she saw, she looked back at the man, but he wasn't standing in front of her, she looked around and found him on her chair, which laid at the dark corner and his legs were perfectly crossed.
"but you act like my daughter, you have a wonderful room, and it fits you so well. This is exactly what my room look like and the room I prepared for you, the darkness compliments you perfectly" he grinned at her,
"why are you doing this?" she asked in a calm voice,
"you had a chance to come to me freely, but you made me use the hard way" he raised his voice and gave her a devilish glare.
"you don't command me, I have my choice and rights" she answered him,
"I made you, you belong to me and you obey my command" he shouted, and Jupiter could see the anger in his eyes,
"I should obey you because you are the almighty lord Logan or my father?" she mocks him, and he gritted his teeth,
"both and mostly because I am your father"
"what if I was aborted?" Jupiter asked,
"Laura had a good heart, she would never do such" he replied
"and you never asked of her, even till this moment" Jupiter frowned slightly,
"I don't care. I guess she's dead, I was done with her and you were my main aim" he answered with a smile "look out of the window"
Jupiter immediately looked out and unconsciously tears spilled down her face, she could see mercury and Olivia were pinned to the ground and two witches above them, at the other end was Adam, Kenny and Seth who were battling all at once with two people who obviously weren't witches.
She looked into the forest, her eyes traveled far into it and then she could see the different set of vampires fighting themselves. She couldn't find the queens, king Desmond and Jordan. She prayed they were safe.
She wept silently and then she eyes met a witch who held a knife close to Dawn's neck and he was struggling.
"you know what you have to do, do it and save them" he grinned, and she turned to him and obviously he had no emotions. "would you come and be my princess?"
He stretched out his hands to her with a wide smile on his face, she glanced out of the window, looking at her defeated friends as she felt so pained and angered. He had returned when they least expected and attacked and now he could easily defeat them.
"Jupiter?" he called, and she looked back at him. She thought of how he knew her name, he has been watching her for long. She pushed away the thought to focus on the present and most important problem.
She remembered when she was alone, lonely in this same apartment but now she was crowded by families and new friends, it has gotten to the point where they now fought over her, claiming who owned her and who didn't. why?
Most times they were over protective and the other time they crowded her, she felt she need a bit more space to see how much they could do to get her back but then she had an idea, she was going to rip this man apart slowly.
She smiled mischievously at him and this time he was surprised, she walked a bit closer to him.
"you're one of the most powerful being on earth. A strong king and a perfect father, why shouldn't I work with you?" she asked smiling widely and then placed her head on his palm.
"I knew you were a wise child" he grinned happily,
"it's time to go home, father" she said, and he nodded in excitement,
"we have two homes. The vampire mansion, it's dark and beautiful as this room and we have the witch coven" he explained "make your choice"
"you took over the witch coven?" she asked curiously,
"well, they ran off. Scared little chickens" he laughed "I'll give you a full story when we are home"
"I would love to go to the vampire's mansion. We could visit the coven some other time" she created a fake smile and he grinned in return.
"then we should leave now" he smiled as he was excited to have won her over, but then she frowned slightly "what is it?"
"how would we know their plans and what they are up to?" he smiled brightly,
"I have a special witch that can handle all that" he answered,
"I want to ask for a favor and if you grant it then I promise to work with you?" she said,
"what is that?" he asked eagerly, and she bit her lips slightly, giving him a puppy face.
"I want to come back here, once in a while I could visit you" she answered, and he frowned,
"why would you want to that?" he questioned, and she smiled mischievously
"we could easily know their plans and secondly I don't want them to know I'm working with you, let it be a surprise to them" she answered, and he nodded happily.
"that's right" he grinned "I certainly would have so many surprises for them"
"now can you release them?" she asked almost in a whisper,
"why do you care so much about this people, they are weaklings and shouldn't associate with a powerful being like you. They don't care about you but your power. Where had they been all this while?" he questioned in anger,
