Chapter Twenty Nine

“What else was she supposed to do?” Alex asked him, feeling attacked
“I don’t understand why she let it get this far. She shouldn’t have tried to play smart with him. She should have said something immediately he showed his interest in her, except she was interested in the offer too” Justin said
“How can you say something like that? This was her father’s life on the line. If it was yours, you would also try to play smart. We can all stop defending my psychotic father and face the facts here. You all grew up wrong if you think from that angle!” Sally said, upset
“I didn’t grow up wrong! I am just being reasonable here and don’t you dare bring up my parents in this. You know nothing about them!” Justin snapped at her
“Well, you sound like an ass right now and it is not making any sense! You have to be reasonable sometimes. I don’t understand how you could even think like that!” she spat at him
“Sally! That is a enough. Justin, she has a point. How could you think like that? It makes no sense and you should not think like that about my girlfriend! It was her father’s life on the line and she had to be careful and it’s not like I was there for her!” Damian said
“There for her? You weren’t here?” Justin asked
“Not in the beginning, when. It all started” Damian admitted
“Where were you?” Justin asked him
“I went in a personal quest. I got possessed by heaven knows what and all I wanted to do was kill her. When I have came back to normal, I just wanted to make sure she was safe and I left her alone because I was the threat at that time” Damian said
“Stop trying to defend yourself in this Damian. Well, someone has to get her out of the rain before she falls sick or something” Justin said
“Would not be me” Alex said
“She wouldn’t listen to me. She doesn’t even talk to me anymore” Damian said
“Well, somebody has to do it!” Sally said. She rolled her eyes and slapped her forehead. “if you guys are too scared to do it, I will do it” she said as she headed to the door. She went outside and Annabelle looked at her
“I don’t want to talk!” she said to her
“Well, I didn’t come here to talk either. I came her to offer a deal” she said

Anna looked at her Sally walked down to where she was kneeling and squatted with her in the rain. She shoulder bumped her and smiled at her

“You said you wanted to make a deal? What is it? Did Damian send you here to talk to me?” she asked
“Actually….” She said as she looked back at the house. “He doesn’t know I’m talking to you about this. I need your help” she said
“With what?”
“Phillip. It’s time we take him down, once and for all” she said
“It doesn’t make any sense to me. Why would you want to kill your own father?” Anna asked her
“Because he killed my mother. I know you must have heard that she died in her sleep or something but she didn’t . She was just fine before my father came in and he sent me to my room that night. She didn’t come to my room to say goodnight as she usually does and when the morning came, I was preparing for school and she was still not out of her room. I was done with my preparation when I decided to check up on her in her room and I found her dead. I refuse to believe that she just died in her sleep. She didn’t!” Sally said
“And you think your father killed her?” Anna asked her
“He was the last person that was with her. I took a drop of her blood and took it to a witch to do do a reading on it and she found traces of poison in it” Sally explained
“Why didn’t you tell somebody?” she asked her
“There was nobody to tell and when I did tell the authorities, they said I was going crazy because I missed my mother. Every where I went, it was getting turned down because he had people working for him in every public office position” she said
“What do you need me to do?” Anna asked her
“I need you to end him, once and for all and I need it to be a slow and painful death. I want him to scream in pain and agony and I don’t want you to stop until he begs for his life and when he does, we still kill him either ways” she said
“I can do that” she said
“Now, you should really come on and let’s get this body in the ground at the cemetery behind the house” Sally said

Annabelle nodded and she carried the body and they buried it in the cemetery. She headed back into the house and went straight to her room. She was tired and she wanted to rest. She dropped on her bed and closed her eyes to sleep. She sighed and closed her eyes when she felt him speed into her room. She felt his body against hers and his hands around her waist. She heard him breathe in and hold it. She knew he was probably taking in her scent again. His hug because tighter and she couldn’t tell if he wanted her sexually or he just wanted to confirm her and take away all her pain.

“I am so sorry, my love. You were right, you are still right. It is all my fault. I should have been here when you needed me but instead, I decided that it was best to leave. It wasn’t my decision to make but yours”
“It doesn’t matter whose decision it was. You already made it and that is fine with me. Sometimes, I think you shouldn’t have come back home. If you didn’t come back, my father would not be dead now” she said
“And heaven knows what my father would have done to you. Maybe my coming back was a mistake, but you can’t deny the fact that it was also a blessing. My father would have taken advantage of you that night and I don’t know I’d I can ever live with that knowledge. I just can’t allow him touch you or even look at you anymore!” he said
“And now, my father is dead because you didn’t allow it!” She said
Damian had no idea about why she was blaming him but he figured it was the only way she could get it off her chest and he wasn’t going to try to defend himself. If she said it was his fault, he was going to agree to it and take all the blame even when he knew it wasn’t his fault. He just wanted to be there for her and if he disagreed, they would have another fight and he didn’t want that. If they had another fight, he would have to leave her alone to cool off and she didn’t want that.
“Look, I can’t bring back your father and I am sorry I can’t but I will do what I can do. I will make sure the killer doesn’t go scott free. My father wouldn’t go unpunished. He will pay for his crimes, every one of them. I promise you” he said

She turned to face him. He looked at her and wiped the tears off her face. He kissed her forehead and hugged her. He rubbed her back and sighed. He knew what he had to do. He had to kill his own father and he might have made a very big mistake but he decided to let life play out. She moved close to him and buried her face in his chest. She was eventually going to apologize for the plans she and Sally wanted to carry out tonight but she knew she couldn’t wait for Damian. I’d she did, she would end up not killing Phillip. It was past midnight when the door to her room opened. She felt someone touch her and her eyes opened immediately, ready to attack.

“Hey, it’s me. Calm the hell down” Sally said
“Sorry. I wasn’t expecting it to be you” Anna said
“Are you ready?” she asked
“Yeah, c’mon” Annabelle said as she got up.
She carefully removed Damian’s hand from her body and headed down to the basement with Sally. They walked carefully, not making any noise. The last thing they needed was waking somebody up. The plan was to get Phillip out of the house into an abandoned place and get a witch to lock him up in the house, allowing only her and Sally into the house until they killed him and got rid of his body.
