15. The Yacht
She got ready to go. She put on her dark blue swimsuit and white translucent coverup. She walked out to her porch. Locked the house and sat in one of her rockers and waited for her cousin and friends to arrive.
Amanda pulled up in front of Elises house in her SUV. The rear passenger door opened, and Bailey and Abigal got out to let Elise crawl into the back. All the girls were very excited. The whole way to the marina the girls talked about how they couldn’t believe this was such an exclusive party, and what they planned to do there.
Georgia started bragging about how she gotten invited by this hot guy named Marcus. “I can’t wait for you to meet him. He is positively sinful. Yall are so lucky that I was able to convince him to let us in.” she said with a laugh.
The girls were all quick to say thanks and how they were so grateful. Elise just smiled. She knew that even without Georgia they would have been attending this party. As they got out Abigal commented on What Elise was wearing.
“How can you make even a plain dark blue one piece look good?”
It was true. Her suit was visible beneath her cover up. The navy-blue made her eyes look more vibrant. It was a spaghetti strap one piece, but it showed some cleavage and her perfectly round rear end was showing a little cheek.
The girls walked down the docks. At the end was a huge White and black Yacht. As they approached Elise took notice of the name of the vessel Serpent. She started to laugh.
“Why are you laughing?” Amanda asked.
Elise kept laughing “It's nothing.”
They got on the yacht. And it was packed with girls in string bikinis and men in shorts, some with shirts and some without. The girls made their way to the bar. Unlike Amanda and her friends, Elise just wanted some ice water. Which the bar tender happily gave her.
She thought back to the last time she was at a party hosted by Levi and how they had refused to serve her water. Elise wondered if Levi had done this just for her. She had mentioned to him how much she loved a good glass of ice-cold water.
Elise smiled as she thought about him going out of his way to make her more comfortable. It was another sign he was not as bad as her uncles had said. As the girls all started to sip on their drinks Georgia began to look for Marcus.
She pointed him out when she spotted him. He looked like he was arguing with another man, but Georgia ignored that. “Come on ya’ll I want you to meet Marcus.” They moved around the floor making their way through the crowd. By the time they reached him the argument had stopped, and Marcus had a scowl on his face.
“Marcus.” Georgia called.
He turned and saw her, and his face lightened a bit. “Oh hey.”
“These are my friends.”
He nodded. Georgia was getting ready to introduce everyone when Marcus grumbled “I need a drink.” He pushed his way past everyone even Georgia. She momentarily lost her composure as she watched him go with a sour look on her face. They watched him all the way back to the bar where he began to hit on another girl.
“Oh, Georgia he isn't worth it. We are all here with you, and there are plenty of other guys here you can have fun with.” Amanda said.
The girls all agreed with Amanda and said as much.
“Whatever.” Geogia pretended that she had not been affected by his behavior at all. She glanced back at the dock. “Are we ever going to get out on the water.” She said impatiently.
At just that moment Levi Athan was approaching the ship in a golf cart. He parked next to the gang plank boarded and made his way strait up to the bow. There he informed the captain that they could depart. The captain signaled a man to hall in the gangplank and made ready to sail. As the yacht started moving Levi went off to find Elise.
He didn’t have to look long. He spotted her from behind and took a moment to take her in. He smiled as he thought how cut it was that she had tried to be modest. There was no way she could hide her figure in any swim wear. She would be a temptation to every guy and even a few of the women at the party.
Elise turned around and looked into his deep brown eyes.
“Oh, Levi Hi.” she said in a chipper tone. She stood quite for a second just smiling. Then Amanda fake coughed.
“Oh, I am sorry, do you remember everyone?”
“Yes, I do. Nice to see you all again.”
Elise smiled she never thought that a Prince of hell would have such polite manners. I hope ya’ll have fun today. I am going to steal Elise away from you girls if you don’t mind.”
“Not at all.” Amanda said.
Georgia was green with Envy. She thought to herself, ‘how did Elise land a guy like that. She was frigid. How can this happen? There she is with the hottest guy here and I get blown off by Marcus. This is ridiculous.’
Elise walked off with Levi. He took her up to the top deck on stern of the ship. They sat down and just looked at each other getting lost in the motion of the waives. There was a way that the two could sit in complete silence and still not be uncomfortable. Levi finally looked around and then made a comment.
“These people are all such babies.”
“Yeah, I remember that age.”
“You are still really young though.”
“I am not.”
“You are.” he said in matter-of-fact tone.
“Compared to you maybe.”
“No just overall. Sure, you are older than humans but amongst angles and demons you are very young.”
Elise rolled her eyes. She really did love the company of Levi. He was charming inviting. She could feel his dark aura. Although she had been raised to loath the feeling of a demonic presence, now that she had come to know Levi, she found his aura enticing. It was so different from her own and her uncles. It made her curious.
“I think next time I see my father I am going to talk to him.” she blurted out.
Levi gave her a long look.
“You are sure.”
“I have questions that need answers. And he is the only angel I think I can trust right now. But on to another subject. Why do you throw these huge parties? You don’t seem like the kind to want people around you all the time. But hey I could be wrong.”
