74. Death of Abbadon
Leviathan arrived first. It didn’t take long for Elise to catch up to him.
“I think we should rest and then make your move.”
“Leviathan I am ready now.”
“You just flew a long way it would be better if you rested. We don’t know if he will have demons surrounding him. If that is the case, then you may need rest.”
“Fuck rest I am going now. I have been waiting a long time for this.”
“You can wait just a little longer.”
“Fuck that.”
Elise then moved, pushing him out of the way. She knew he was close, but she would have to do some searching until she found him. As the hours passed, she became more and more mad at everything that had happened.
The anger was building by the second when she came across a nest of demons.
“This is it I think.”
She said to Leviathan.
The two burst into the building slaughtering almost everyone in the building. But there was no sign of Abaddon. Elise grabbed one of the demons by the hair and pulled their head back.
“Where is he?”
She screeched.
“Where is who?”
“Abaddon.”
“I don’t know.”
“Don’t lie to me demon.”
“What are you going to do if I don’t.”
She then used her weapon to stab him through the gut. She then turned to the other demons who were bound watching the whole thing.
“Now tell me where Abaddon is.”
She screamed. One of the demons said.
“He is three blocks down in an orange house.”
Good. Then she swung her double-sided sword and in a matter of seconds she cut down the remaining demons. She then looked at Leviathan.
“Let's go.”
With an uncontrollable rage she ran the three blocks and broke down the door of the first orange building she found. She began cutting people down till she reached the last room in the building. She began to call out.
“Abaddon.”
He was shaking. He knew his time was limited. She demanded reattribution for what he had done to her. She slowly opened the door of the room. When she stepped inside, she saw him. He pulled out his hellish weapon.
She had her weapon already dripping with blood from the other demons she had killed. Before he could say anything, she lunged at him. He sidestepped. Leviathan stood in the door frame watching the fight unfold.
Elise didn’t think clearly about her wild state and as she was not watching her back, he sliced through her skin like butter. Elise let out a shriek. Leviathan shifted uncomfortably watching her get cut like that. But he had said he would stay out of it, and he planned to unless she really needed him.
She moved away while the blood dripped down her back. She swiped him knocking him a little of balance, but he recovered quickly. She went in for a low blow again but this time she faked it, making him think she was going to use her weapon to slash his face.
But as he moved, she had anticipated his maneuver and went in and let go of her weapon in one hand to punch him low on his thigh. He staggered but when he got his composure, he went to swing his blade but as he did, he kicked into her stomach sending her flying across the room.
The dry wall that had been around her had begun to crumble at the impact of her body. She pulled away from the wall now gripping her weapon tighter she stalked toward him.
“Abaddon, it is time we stopped dancing and got down to it don’t you think.”
He didn’t respond so she went on to chastise him.
“Abaddon oh Abaddon you are going to die today. I mean the option is for you to run from me. But I will get you eventually. If not today someday soon. But I doubt you will actually succussed in escaping me.”
Just then she heard shattering glass. He had jumped through the window trying to get away.
“So, a game of chase it is.”
Then she jumped out the window following right behind him. As they weaved through the streets people could hardly notice as they were both traveling at super speed. Elise pickled up a fruit from a front shop display.
It was an apple, and she then took her aim and through. The apple connected with Abaddon's head. Causing him to slow down just a bit. But that little bit Gave Elise the advantage to get close enough to grab him.
She slammed her feet into the pavement causing them to crack a little under the pressure. People were now staring at the fact that these two were fighting openly in the street. Elise threw a blow to him in the face making him go flying into a nearby shop window.
The onlookers where shocked to see a small demur woman be able to do that. Abaddon looked around frantically trying to find a way to flee. Elise came in close, and his face went pale as she approached. He would need to get up and fight if he didn’t want to die.
He screamed, alerting his demons to come to his aid and many made their way to him. However, it was not enough. By the time he got up and pulled his weapon. Elise knocked it out of his hand with a switch of her wrist.
Elise then came in close and dropped her weapon, she then punched him square in the face. She then got on top of him and kept doing it till he was a bloody mess. Just when she went to grab her weapon, He kicked her off him with all the might he had.
It sent her flying in the air. He had enough time to flee but as he got up to run there stood Leviathan.
“Brother help me.”
Leviathan with a stern face just shook his head. Then before he could say anything else or do anything else Elise ran her sword through the gut. He turned to ash as it was a fatal blow. Elise let her arm slag and she took a deep breath of relief.
