18. Passion and Conviction

Their kiss grew deeper. Levi wrapped his arms around her and brought her in until their bodies were pressed together. Elise needed to wrap her leg around him to steady herself as they continued to kiss. Finally, he pulled away. He looked at Elise swollen lips and wanted to devour them once again. He grabbed her hand and led her to the nearest lounge area. The yacht had several. He thought it would be best to continue this someplace more comfortable.

Once they had entered the room, he dropped her hand and turned to face her. She looked into his chiseled face. To her he looked as though he was dying of thirst, and she was the only drink that could quench him. She started biting her bottom lip with nervous excitement.

This sent Levi into a frenzy. He could not restrain himself. He rushed upon her crushing her pink pouty lips with his own. He embraced her again. This time running his hands up and down all over Elises body. Where ever he touch her it sent little sparks igniting across her skin.

Without stopping Levi used his body to back her into a wall. Then he grabbed her wrists and pinned them above her head with his strong muscular arms. He left a trail of kisses from the top of her neck down to her collar bone. Then he released her arms and she wrapped them around him.

She drew him into another long kiss and then she pulled away. They should stop she knew but she didn’t want to. She looked away from Levi trying to compose herself. Her face was flushed, and her long black hair was in disarray. “I think...” She started to say. Her head was swimming. She kept trying to form a sentence, but she couldn't form the words.

Levi spoke up. “You were thinking we should stop.” He said in a sad voice.

“Yes.” She nodded her head. Then she grabbed the back of his head and pulled him close to her again. She knew that she should break this off before they went too far, but the strong feeling between her legs was urging her on.

They continued kissing as they moved to one of the many sofas in the room. She laid back and Levi moved on top of her. He used his hands to explore every one of her curves. As his hand moved up her inner thigh, she began to moan.

Suddenly Elise snapped back to her senses. She realized what was about to happen and she pushed him away. He moved away and they sat looking at each other for a moment. “I have to go.” She said, catching her breath. It was hard for her to say that. She really wanted to stay. She wanted this to keep going on and on, but this was a line she was not ready to cross yet.

“If you must.” He replied, crestfallen.

She turned away from Levi and rushed from the room. She had to fight to not look back. She knew if she did, she would stay in that room and never leave. He watched her as she fled from the room. He could see that she was fighting to regain her composure.

As she walked out onto the deck, she looked up at the sky. She knew what she needed right now. Levi followed her out just in time find her opening her wings. She looked back at him, and a grin appeared on his face. He was enraptured once again at their sheer size and beauty.

Without saying a word Elise leapt into the air and flew away. The sun was just starting to rise. Dawn really was the best time to fly in her opinion. As she flew toward home, she pondered over what had just happened. ‘Did he really touch me there? Did I let him? Why did he smell so good. Why did he taste so good?’ She kept replaying the moment in her mind as she tried to decide her true feelings.

Did she want to pursue this or was it just a one time thing she wondered. When she arrived home, she felt like she needed to get in the shower. As she washed, she closed her eyes and remembered the way it felt when he ran his hands all over her. The sparks ran over her skin again.

Across town Levi was also taking a shower. A cold one. He thought to himself ‘Holy hell. Her skin was so soft, and her grace... Hell’s fire, there has never been anything like her. Not in all my thousands of years has anything even come close to her.’

This was something completely untouched, something new. He wanted more. He needed more. For him she had become a rare drug. He was hooked and only he could have her.

This was not going to go over well with the other demons if he continued down this path. Those that knew what he had been up to had confronted him already. They hated that he was spending so much of his time with her.

He worried what would happen if one of his underlings let it slip to an angel and then word getting back to the archangels. ‘But even if that did happen what could they do?’ He thought.

Elise finished her shower. As she was getting dressed for the day, she looked outside her window. Her neighbor Mathew was walking out to the mailbox. Elise saw his death looming large. His time had come, Mathew was about to have a massive coronary event and drop dead. This was not the first time she had witnessed the moment of death. Unlike the other times she had seen someone die naturally, this one was different. This time someone appeared. Someone in a black Cloke with black wings.

“Father?”
