40. Breakfast
Elise woke up in a large bed. The satin sheet clung to her naked body. She sat up and looked around the large room. The windows where open, letting the red daylight shine in. The door opened and in walked a blond-haired girl.
“Pardon me miss. I brought you some clothes.”
She walked over and set the stack of clothes on the bed.
“Do you need anything else?”
“I would love some cold water.” She really felt like she could use the refreshment. The air was hot and humid.
“We only have hot water in hell; the wine is much better though.”
“Oh, okay wine will be fine then I guess.”
“Right away.” She bowed and backed out of the room never turning her back to Elise.
Elise crawled to the end of the giant bed to examine her new clothes. The pants were black leather with laces running all the way up the sides. The top was black leather as well. It was a strapless top with a built-in bra and had laces up the sides to match the pants. The shoes where open top high heel ankle boots. There was just enough leather crossing over her feet to Keep them bound to the sturdy soles of her shoes while leaving them out to breath in the warm air. After getting dressed Elise looked herself over in the mirror. The clothes fit her perfectly. The shirt left her shoulder bare. The laces exposed her skin on either side. She left her long hair flowing down over her back. Elise didn’t recognize herself. If she didn’t know that she was an angel she would have thought she was looking at a demon.
She left the room to see if she could find the girl from before or Leviathan. The halls of this castle were huge. She eventually came to a room with an enormous table set in the middle of it. Leviathan was sitting at the head. She walked right up to him, pulled his chair back and crawled up on to his lap.
“Well good morning.”
“Goodmorning”
They kissed each other. Then Elise pulled away.
“Would you like to tell me why I was sent these clothes?”
“They show your class in Hell. Leather is the top tier.”
“Oh, so an angel is considered to be in the top tier?”
“No. You are my angel though, so that puts you at the top with me. Though it would be best while we are here if you could keep that fact about being an angel to yourself.”
“As if she will be able to hide it.” A well-toned woman with long legs walked into the room. She pulled a chair away from the table and sat down. Then she kicked her legs up crossing her black thigh high boots on the table.
“This is Deliah, one of my daughters.”
“Oh hi.”
“Yeah, sorry Dad, but there is no hiding the fact that she is an angel. It is just too obvious. She even still has her glow and I have a feeling it won't be dimming. I could feel her oarah even before I walked into the room.”
“Well, then we will just have to keep her out of sight util I talk with my brothers.”
“Yeah. Good luck with that.”
Elise spoke up. “So, this is hell. Is there any food or anything to drink?”
Just then the little blond headed women came walking swiftly out to the table. She caried a tray with a cup and pitcher on it. She approached slowly and offered the tray to Elise. She bowed in submission as she presented it.
Elise took the drink and thanked her. The woman’s face broke into a smile before she backed out of the room with the tray. Elise began to drink the wine. She was so thirsty she had to drink three goblets before she felt satisfied.
Leviathan shouted. “I don’t like to be kept waiting bring out the food.”
As soon as the order left his lips, I procession of servants began to filter in with the food. There where grapes and cheeses of all sorts. There were meats and breads. Soon the table was filled from end to end.
“Is this all for just the three of us?” Elise asked.
“No.” Leviathan laughed. “Several of my children live in hell.” As the morning trickled on various people entered the room. There were tons of them, and none of them looked alike. It was easy to tell who were Leviathan’s children though by the way they were dressed. Elise tried to get up to give Leviathan time alone with his kids, but he just kept his grip on her.
He reminded her that he wanted her right beside him. Each of his kids greeted him and seemed happy that he was home. He laughed and joked with each of them. It was so different than the way he presented himself with others. With humans on earth, he was always so formal. He was definitely more at ease with his children. Elise wondered if he would still be this comfortable around his brothers. She was very aware of who they were. Even now the thought of running into one of them made her nervous. Just as she had been when she had first met Leviathan. She also knew that each was a prince of something. Leviathan being the prince of Chaos.
“Elise?”
“Oh, what I am sorry my mind was elsewhere.”
“Jonathan would like to know what you think of hell.”
“Well, it is not my favorite place I have been.”
Jonathan laughed. It was a disturbing laugh.
“Go away now. All of you.” Leviathan barked. His children filtered out of the room. With his free arm he began to shove the plates and various things off the table in front of him. As they crashed to the floor the echo caried throughout the large hall. He lifted Elise out of his lap and placed her on the table. He started stroking he thighs. “I would like to say again that I am sorry for bringing you down here.”
“I told you last night, I chose to come down here. I would rather be in this miserable place with you than on earth without you.”
He stood up, took her head in his hands, and brought her in for a kiss. She returned it with passion. After a moment of heavy kissing Leviathan pulled away. He sat back down and went back to stroking her thighs.
“So, I am going to see my brothers today. It would be best if you didn’t come with me.”
“Why?”
“Well, you see, it’s just that they really hate angels; particularly Mara. I just think it would go more smoothly if they didn’t see you.”
“Oh, okay I guess.”
“Good. I don’t want you to have to wait for me alone. So, I am going to leave you in the good hands of Deliah. She will keep you company while I am gone.”
He stood up again and kissed her. Then he shouted again, calling Deliah back into the room. She walked in calmly and sat back down kicking her feet up once again. Leviathan looked at his daughter. “Be nice.” He said to the young women. Then he gave Elise another kiss and walked out of the big hall, leaving the two of them sitting there.
