78. Home to a Rager

Leviathan and Elise returned home. They pulled up in the front and found hundreds of people milling about. People stared at them as they made their way inside. Neither of them was expecting to be met with a party. Though they knew it was not being held on account of their homecoming.

A man came up behind Elise and squeezed her ass. She whipped around and punched him in the jaw, breaking it. The only person that she ever let touch her was Leviathan. She moved closer into Leviathan as they kept walking. They finally found Saxon and Baylor among the numerous bodies filling their house.

“Baylor Saxon, want to tell me why my house is filled with people and demons?”

“Well, just you always threw them, so we kept it up once the repairs were made.”

Elise didn’t say anything. She let Leviathan handle his sons. She moved away and headed up to their room. They had not slept in a long time. Both took hunting their families seriously and she was tired. Even though she knew an intense battle ahead right now she just wanted to sleep.

When she opened the door, she found several women on her bed and a man who seemed to be enjoying them. In a dark voice she said.

“You all should leave this room.”

The man looked up from beneath one of the blond women on top of him.

“Come on now sugar we were just about to have some fun maybe you would like to join us?”

“The last time I found people in my bed they all ended up dead. Do you wish to join them.”

Some of the women's faces fell. They looked paler. The man laying down lifted the one woman and nodded to them. Signaling it was okay to leave. The when quickly scurried out of the room without looking back. Elise just stared at the man. He had remained. She really had grown to detest humans. Their lack of knowledge, their entitlement, though their courage amused her sometimes.

“I said everyone needed to get out that includes you. I want to lay down and you're in my bed.”

“Why don’t you come join me then.”

Elise took her hands to her temples and slowly started to rub them. She was in no mood to kill right now. Though it was now as easy as blinking she didn’t want to have to have the room cleaned. If she killed him her bed would be unusable and where was she going to get the sleep, she so desperately wanted.

“Get out of my bed or I will make you.”

“Fine then make me.”

Elise stomped over. She went to grab the man, but he flipped her over. Instantly she reacted by kicking him clear across the room. He hit the wall chipping some of the dry wall.

“Are you serious now look what you did.”

She got up from the bed and stormed over grabbing the human by his hair and dragging him to the door. He began to call out.

“Let me go you bitch. Your fucking crazy.”

Leviathan opened the door before Elise could. He looked down at the man and got in his face.

“Did I hear right you called my darling a bitch?”

He scooted back trying to get away from Leviathan.

“She kicked me across the room for being in the bed.”

“She does not like people in places they shouldn’t be. You should be grateful that is all she did.”

Elise let the man go and he quickly darted away. Leviathan laughed.

“You have to admit that was kind of amusing.”

“I am not amused all I want to do is sleep.”

He smiled at her. He himself was tired. The two made their way to their bed. It was slightly messed up from people laying it.

“I’m glad I got here before they had removed their clothes.”

“Yeah, I don’t think you would have had to like to wait for clean bedding.”

“You should let Saxon and Baylor know if they are going to throw parties that our room is off limits. Like locking this room up. I don’t like people in my space.”

“You don’t like people in general.”

It was true after being tortured for centuries she had lost all love for everyone. The only person she genuinely liked being around was Leviathan. She put no value on life at all. It wasn’t that she was a monster, but she just felt above it all. If people were kind and didn’t exactly rub her the wrong way, she didn’t feel the urge to commit violence.

Leviathan was much the same. Though he was more tolerant of people. Like her time in Hell, his had changed him. He was quick to anger and extremely possessive over Elise. The two found their happiness in each other verses in other people. If things went how they wanted it was peaceful but when they found someone had wronged them, they were quick to send them to their demise.

Elise crawled into their bed and Leviathan followed. He pulled her into his chest and kissed her neck.

“I am glad to be home. Even if it is for short while.”

“I am glad too.”

“I was thinking maybe we could set up a plan in the next few days about what to do with Mara and your uncles. But while we are doing that maybe we could also do some things that are not exactly revenge.”

“What is wrong with revenge.”

“Nothing my little murderess.”

He said as he kissed her neck again. He thought it was cute how focused she had been on revenge. He himself had leaned into it. But while they were in their home he wanted to see if they could just enjoy each other's company without basking in blood.

“Leviathan,”

“Mhh.”

“Maybe we could go to the beach tomorrow. We haven't had a moments rest in a long time. I think it may be nice.”

“Do you want it too just be us?”

“Yes.”

He smiled and snuggled her more. The two fell asleep despite the party raging outside their door.
