81. The End
“My darling now that I know you won’t disobey me, I think you deserve to be put up in my room. Don’t worry, we will still have our fun. I know you like knifes.”
Elise had drifted to a different space. At the time she was captured for the beginning she had remained present but as the years drifted, she began to abandon her body. Her head would be empty, and she would no longer be present in herself. That is how she was now with Mara.
He led her to his room. He came in close to her he wanted to smell her. He stopped and his face twisted.
“Your Pregnant.”
That seemed to snap her out of her haze.
“What?”
“It is fresh. You became pregnant yesterday.”
“How do you know it is too soon to tell that.”
“You would only start to smell maybe over an hour ago. It is extremely weak, but it is there. You're with child.”
“Well at least I know it is possible now. Still, we are going to have to get rid of it. You can only carry my child.”
Elise looked at him. She didn’t want to get rid of it. She wanted to keep it. Everything around her slowed. The knowledge of the baby changed everything. She could only see herself holding a baby in her arms. As fast as she could she pulled her weapon and stabbed Mara.
His eyes went wide as he realized what happened. It had been so sudden, and he had not expected it.
“You will never touch me or my child. Or anyone ever again.”
Then she pulled it out and watched as he turned to ash. She smiled. She couldn’t believe she was finally done. Then it occurred to her. Where was Leviathan? He was there not too long ago when she scurried off. She didn’t even know where to start looking. She decided to leave hell.
Once she was back at their home she called for Saxon and Baylor. Once they had arrived, Elise told them of what happened. They learned in and after they took a big whiff they smiled.
“Looks like we are going to have a sibling.”
“That is great, but we need to find your father.”
“Well, where is your other uncle?”
“I don’t know.”
“He couldn’t have brought him to the realm of light. I could check heaven.”
“That is a place to start. We can round up some angels that are still on earth and see if we can find out something.”
“Okay.”
Elise stood, opened her wings and then took off. Elise was determined to find him. She didn’t want to have to raise a child without him. She had no clue what this baby meant. She was an archangel he was a prince of hell what would their child be?”
Elise looked all over heaven but all she saw was happy souls. There were a few angels that resided there. They at first didn’t want to talk but she did as Mara had once done to her. She tortured them. She never had felt remorse about killing, but this she felt like she had crossed a line.
Eventually one confessed. Jophiel had sacrificed himself to create a prison that was able to hold him. This made her the last of the archangels she was now in charge. She then leaned in.
“I am now in charge you will tell me where this prison is.”
“Past the realm of light.”
After reasserting her dominance, the other angels were obligated to fall in line.
“When I find him. I will be holding a meeting. We will reorganize.”
“What about the angels on earth and being held in hell.”
“You all are going to gather them. In three days, you will all meet me at my home in New Orleans and we will reform. Do as I ask.”
She then opened her wings, and she was off again. After hours of flying, she saw him. He was inside this huge ball of light. It wasn’t big but it could hold one person. She came to it. She reached out and was able to push through into the ball. It was very crammed with two inside it.
Leviathan eyes widened.
“Your pregnant.”
She smiled at him and nodded.
“I guess when you punctured my cervix it well you know.”
He moved and put his hands on her tummy.
“And Mara?”
“I killed him and Michael. Jophiel gave his life to make this prison.”
“So, it is over then.”
She nodded. Both felt flooded with relief. Elise no longer felt angry. She felt at peace. She was happy with the idea of being a mother. She even felt hopeful for the future.
“I called the angels to New Orleans I plan on telling them what needs to happen.”
“And what do you want to happen.”
“I want them to rule heaven and demons to rule hell if that is okay with you. I also want to make keys for the hell gate and want to create a gate for heaven. That way only ones who I want to come and go can. Though we will need some angels to remain on earth to transport the dead to heaven or hell.”
“I am sure we could figure that out.”
“Come let's go.”
She grabbed his hand and though she could pass through Leviathan could not. She thought as she looked at the light prison. If this was truly created by Jophiel, then his soul remained. She pulled out the weapon. She didn’t know if this would work.
But she pierced the ball of light. The thing shuddered and then the light turned into ash. Elise was really now the only archangel. The two of them returned home. Over the next few days demons came and angels began to show. Fights broke out but Elise and Leviathan broke them all up.
Once they had as many as they could they went through a lot of new structures that they wanted to make. Some of the choices they had made they didn’t know how they exactly wanted them to happen. But the thing they made apparent was that they were in charge now and that there would be no more fighting.
The years passed by with very little problems occurring. Their son would eventually take over it all but until they felt he was ready the two of them would remain in charge of both Heaven and Hell.
