Chapter 12

I checked the time and it was already 5:30 pm. I have already made up my mind to go on this date with doctor Albert. I want to go have fun and forget the worries of yesterday. I went into the bathroom to have a quick shower, I covered my hair with the hair bonnet, brushed my teeth to take off bad breath, it would not be a good idea to appear ritj a bad breath on my first date with the cute doctor Albert, I had wanted to have a quick shower but I ended up taking a little bit of time in the bathroom.
A lot of thoughts ran through my mind. Doctor Albert has been very helpful these few days especially on the role he had played during my mum's funeral,being with me,keeping me company and making sure I was fine and well taken care of.
He is really a gentleman, I pray things work out for us, it won't be a bad idea to be in a romantic relationship with doctor Albert, that is what I have always wanted , I have always wanted to fall in love with the right man, I have always wanted to find my prince charming and have him all to myself.
The water in the bathtub splashing against my transparent skin made me feel afresh. I have got a very nice and beautiful body that any man would not be able to resist.
After taking my bath,I wiped my body with a white towel. This white towel is actually my favorite. My love for white colour can not be overemphasized. I opened my closet to choose the clothes to wear, I wanted to look sophisticated and enchanting?
I wanted to make the better part of the evening, I wanted to leave a memory that will linger in the mind of doctor Albert for a very long time.
I chose a golden sequence slit free. It was a very short dress revealing the beauty of my adorable thighs. It was an off shoulder dress that revealed a part of my cleavages. I decided to match it with a red Michael kors purse and high heels, when I like myself in the dressing niry and was satisfied with the dress, so I sat down to apply my makeover. I pooped out for very light makeup, I contoured my face, cheekbone and now after applying my smooth and sleek Mary K powder, I'm not a fan of heavy makeovers because I believe I have a good and killer smile that is more beautiful than any makeover.
I applied very light makeup for my face, took my favorite Perfume, the perfume Deochand. It is one of the most classy perfumes in the country. It is a designer perfume that only the wealthy and well-to-do can afford to have. The sweet smell that emanated from the perfume filled the whole room. I was glad because one of the charm of any pretty woman is a good Perfume.
The piece of silver jewelry I bought from my last tripe tbas has never been worn was there in my jewelry box, I went for it ,wore it and it fitted perfectly onto my skin bringing about the lushness of my neckline.
Satisfied with myself I stepped out from the room to the garage so I could choose the car I would be driving with. I was greeted by Beatrice in the hallway.
"Hey ma'am, I must confess you look very pretty tonight' Beatrice complimented.
"Thank you Beatrice," I replied.
I did not need anymore to tell me how sassy and gorgeous I was looking, I knew I could pass for a Miss World. I loved Beatrice's honest sense of judgement, I was glad she complimented me ,ever since she has being working with me, I have always given her the opportunity to express herself and be vocal ,and I am happy she is learning so fast, and she happens to be the closest staff to me, I have always being the type that allows my staff come closer to me, I learnt that from my dad and mum, I am not the bossy type of lady,so her compliment to me that evening did not come as surprise and I really appreciated her.
?I was about to step into the car when I was informed that a luxurious Mercedes Benz was packed outside waiting for me. Doctor Albert had sent a driver to come and bring me to the venue, how thoughtful and romantic of him to have done that.
The young driver of the Mercedes Benz came out from the car, took a bow and opened the car for me to enter.
"Hello ma'am, I was asked by doctor Albert to bring you" He said after opening the car door for me.
"Thank you,"? I said to him.
I asked him if doctor Albert
I was impressed by the courteous manner he addressed me.
?I sitted comfortably in the car, the driver came in and We headed to the restaurant .
On the way to the restaurant, the driver turned on the car music. One of Adele's songs was played with a cool rhythm. I was awed with the sound of the music.
I nodded my head to the sound of the melodious music, and I looked through the beautiful city.? The city was so beautiful at night, different street lights were used to decorate the whole environment, coupled with the flowers everything became a sweet blend. I asked the driver to turn the window of the car down and he obliged. I looked through the window wothe cool evening breeze blowing.. I was enjoying the site .
A text message popped into my phone, I checked who the text was from and it was doctor Albert.
" Hey beautiful, I hope you are enjoying your ride and hope the music playing from the car makes you feel relaxed and better"
It happened that he had arranged for that particular music to be played for me. The wordings of the song were full of love, and promise of everlasting love.? I wondered if doctor Albert was trying to pass a message or profess his love to me, if that is the case ,then he needs to come out clean and express his mind as a gentle man. It was so nice? of him to drop me a test.
I asked the driver doctor Albert's where about? and he told me that doctor Albert had already processed to the restaurant.
We got the restaurant,I alighted from the car , the building if the restaurant was a big one, the restaurant seemed to be a very busy or perhaps one of the? best restaurants in the city because I saw men and women of different age brackets moving around the premises of the restaurant. I have been to so many classy restaurants. I haven't been to this particular one here. I really love the site of the environment, but then I needed to go in to confirm if it suits my taste.
The restaurant had very good interior designs. Fanciful lights everywhere, good sit scabs well arranged to meet with customers' comfort.
I went to one of the arranged seats, and sat down. It was a two seat, there were other people in the restaurant, most of them were beaming smiles while some just giggled.
I looked around and saw a young man probably in his middle twenties sitting with a lady that seemed to his girlfriend, they were both into each other. They seemed in their own different world as they cared less about what people in the restaurant, they kissed on several occasions and the young man held her hands countless times. He seemed like one making an external promise of commitment. I looked at them with keen interest.?
Then I saw two young people again, make and female. From the expression on their faces, it was obvious they were having a fight, the lady tried to say something , and the young man would give her a chance to, they argued in lower? tunes, it was hard to make out what they were arguing. Surprisingly the young lady stood up and walked out of the restaurant leaving her partner sitting all by himself.
The young man turned to someone beside him and said?
"She left me, she jilted me because I could afford to give her all the luxury she ever wanted, she could have waited a little longer for me to pick myself up and be financially strong again, now she left for good" He said with tears in his eyes.
I felt pity for him, it was obvious he was heartbroken and he is really in love with the said lady. I went to get up and encourage him to move on from the event of today and tomorrow holds better options for him.
"Thank you for your kind words." He said to me,
I went back to my seat to my seat,still waiting and looking around to see doctor Albert,but a waiter approached me to inform me that Albert had ordered a special place in the restaurant for us.
Special place? So there were more special places in this restaurant.I can't wait to find out. I stood up smiling as he led me to the acclaimed special place.
