Chapter 35

I got back to my apartment tired and at the same time satisfied with how everything went for the day. It was such a hectic day.
I called my traveling agent to make sure everything was in place and to be sure she had booked my flight ticket. She has been our traveling agent for a very long time now, her agency is one of the best, she sorts our vacation faster and is very ready to work. She has been the one in charge of my dad's traveling, booking of flights and arranging tours and vacations for us, most especially for
my dad and mum.
"Hello, this Erica, were you able to get my arrangements done, and my flight booked?" I asked her.
"Yes, ma'am, every arrangement has been duly put in place, I will send you the details via email," she replied.
"Okay, thank you, I would be expecting that," I responded.
Some seconds later I got an email from them containing my travel details including the aircraft name and my ticket details. The details were accurate, and the pricing very considerate. I had never expected that the price of flight tickets bhave reduced to this extent and I was very happy about it.
I checked my luggages again to be very sure it was well packed and that I would not be leaving anything behind. I checked for my personal items and everything was in order.
I selected a few clothes, since I can always get whatever type of clothes over there. Moreso, the clothes I have here might not be in use over there. I also selected some of my outstanding dinner gowns. I know that there might be lots of school functions so I would not be left behind in terms of dressing, I know the school will be filled with people of diverse culture.
I checked my phone and saw that I got a text from my uncle. And the text read.
'Hi Erica, I know that we have not been on terms these days, I just meant to inform you that I love you and I will make sure everything turns out fine while you are away,do take care of yourself.'
I read the text and I still did not know how exactly my uncle was feeling, perhaps he thinks he might have made me upset over his recent actions . But I was never angry with him, I perfectly understood that he was looking out for my safety and to make sure I did not make mistakes in my choice,' so I thought'
I was just after my own happiness, I just wanted to be left to love whom I want. I felt that my parents have controlled my life enough, and now I would not want my uncle to continue from where they stopped because it is going to be really draining for me
My uncle has been part of our lives and no doubt my dad loved him. I was not upset with him in any way since all he wants is to make sure that Albert truly loves me.
I took my phone and called my uncle. I told him that I was never angry with him.
"Hey Uncle, I got your text message," I said.
"Yes, I thought you might be angry at me for stopping you from dating Albert," he replied.
"No uncle, I am not angry at you," I responded .
"Thank you dearest," he replied, and we hung up.
I did not want my uncle to feel bad, moreso since I would not be around, he would be the one taking care of things here while I am away, so it would be ideal to give him the chance to do that .
ANTHONIO'S POV
Convincing Erica that I was looking out for her was so simple, I used the text message to buy over, how gullible of her to think that I am looking out for her.
I laughed very loudly, I was glad she believed me, sooner than later, I will swing into action by ordering the staff of the company to do my bindings. And no one will be there to stop me.
I know I will have someone to fight , which is Albert but getting Erica on my side to thrust me will make it a lot easier. I am not going to back down anytime soon, I see that Erica is so naive.
ERICA'S POV
Albert came to the house to see me off to the airport, he came quite early, even though we spoke the previous night.
"Hey sweetie, you came so early," I said.
"Yes, I have to come early, so that you do not miss your flight," he said.
"That is so kind of you, that is why I love you so much,"
When we got to the airport ,my flight was a bit delayed due to the bad weather but after what seemed like eternity, we were called to board.
A thorough check was going on by the officials of the airport. Albert stood with me while the whole check was going on. I told him he could be going back home but he insisted on staying till our plane finally leaves then he could go .
There were lots of people at the check point, men and women both young and old. Some tried to exchange pleasantries with me, I met a young lady in her mid twenties, she was such a pretty girl and so lively too, she came closer to me.
Stretching her hand for a shake.
"Hey, I am Rose,you look so beautiful, so I came to say hi to you," she said
"Oh, thank you, and you look amazing too, I am Erica" I replied smiling.
"So are you traveling to Miami for a visit?, she asked me.
"No,not at all, I am going there to study," I told her.
"Oh really,what a coincidence, I am also going there to study too," she replied. Looking very happy.
I found out that Rose was also traveling to study but fortunately for her ,she has a relative staying in the city, she would pull up with them till she is able to get an accommodation for herself, unlike me who does not have anyone over there. She also seems to have visited the city quite a number of times.
I introduced Albert to her as my boyfriend.
"Wow,what a cute boyfriend you got here," she said with smiles.
"Thank you," I replied.
Rose was such a lively person, we kept talking till the whole rigorous checking was over. We both exchanged contact. From the way she spoke I found out that she was a fashion enthusiast.
When the plane was ready to take off, Albert and I exchanged pleasantries and kissed passionately before I left to board.
I know he will miss me a great deal, and I will miss him too, as a matter of fact I was already missing him and wished he could follow me to travel, it was not really easy for the two of us,as our relationship is just starting to blossom, but I have to do what is best, and that is studying .
While we were at the airport we made lots of promises to ourselves including staying faithful till I will get back. I do not know if Albert will be able to keep that promise but I am rest assured that he is a good and nice person and would not like to do anything that will hurt my feelings.
Even though we started dating a few months ago,it looks as though we have been dating for a very long time, we were so much attached to each other. My happiness is how Albert is always there for me, each time I need him he always comes at once to help me get things done.
Albert cares so much about my feelings, I really loved him too.
Judging from my past relationships which were nothing compared to this maximum pleasure I am enjoying right now.
My ex- boyfriend was never there for me. He claimed to be busy all the time, till I found out that he has been spending time with someone else.
I wish I could just study here or get Albert to go with me, so that I can be in his arms all day long. He is the perfect boyfriend, such a complete man, he is romantic, he knows how to love and above all he is very good in bed. I did not wish for us to be very far away from each other, since our relationship is just starting, it would be better if we spent quality time together for a while before I traveled.
I am still glad everything is working out fine, going to study in this school has always being a dream to me and I am glad it actually coming to a realization even though my mum and dad are not here to witness it, but I am glad someone who loves me is here with me my 'Albert'
