Chapter 52

I thought of what to do, I came to a conclusion that I would not let them go free.
I went to the company to make sure that Ethan did not show his pretentious face in my father's business, and luckily the workers informed me that he did not come there. I gave them an instruction not to allow him there anymore.
My uncle kept apologizing for me to forgive him, but I turned a deaf eyes to his pleas, how heartless of him to do this to his own niece.
As soon as I got back from the company I went into my room to cry even the more, I was more than deversitated.
I heard a knock at the door and asked who was that, it was one of my staff, I wiped the tears that was dripping off my eyes and went it answer the door, to my surprise I met him struggling with Ethan.
"Ma'am, I have been trying to stop him, but he seems strong headed," my staff reported.
"I would take it from here, you can go now," I told my staff.
"Erica you must listen to me please," Ethan said with tears in his eyes.
"What the hell are you doing here," I asked him.
"I know that I have wronged you, yes I accepted to work with your uncle against you, I accepted to pretend to be in love with you but along the line, I fell genuinely in love with you and right now I can not imagine life with you," he cried.
"You can not imagine life without me, how am I sure it is not one of your lies,how much more do you think you would still lie to me?" I asked.
"I sorry Erica, please give me more chance," he begged.
"Get hell out of my house,else I will call my security to throw you out, I have been trying to maintain my cool, do not make me loose it, get out out right now, you would hear from my attorney." I concluded. I pushed him out of my house.
I whole world went blank, so my uncle plotted against Albert, he forged the voice recording he sent to me while I was in Miami,how very stupid of me to have believed his lies.
I took up my phone and dialled the number Albert used in calling me the previous day to meet up with him,I needed someone to talk to, I needed a shoulder to cry on.
"Hey Erica, what's up?" He asked.
"Hey Albert, please can you meet up with me, can you come to the house?" I asked him.
"Sure,as soon as soon I am done with what I have at hand, I would come over immediately" he replied.
"Thank you so much, I would be expecting you," I responded.
I waited for Albert to come over, I thought about my love life and I wept bitterly. I do not understand why this is happening to me so much. I have been a very nice and accomdating person with a good heart.
Some hours later I heard the sound of Albert's car pull over at the compound. I instructed the staff to let him in.
"Hey Albert, I am really sorry," I said as we embraced each other.
"It is okay Erica, it is not your fault," he said.
"It is my fault, I hurt you," I said.
"It was your uncle that lied against me and not you," he insisted.
"But, I Listened to him, I should have made my own findings, I should not have believed him, I should have known that you did not say what he had accused of,so I take the blame for everything," I said.
"Common you would have to forgive yourself," he said holding my hand.
Albert and I talked about lots of things especially the things we have missed. He stayed for a longer time, consoling and comforting me.
We talked about my stay in Miami,there were so many lovely memories that I shared with him.
Albert suggested that we go out, I wanted to object but same time, I would not want to continue wallowing in self pity. We decided to go out to nearby tourist center that was located at the center of the city, I there is a tourist center there, but I have never visited that place nor gone there to have fun. We got to the tourist center there were so many visitors from different part of the world who came with their families, relatives and loved ones.
I also saw couples holding hands together to enjoy the view of the environment and I wished I was the one enjoying such view with eighter a boyfriend or husband.
I woke up to my worries again, I felt like the day should not break, because I felt like still sleeping and so that I can be able to forget about all that has happened and still happening.
I reluctantly stood up from the bed,I had my bath, as I got to the bathroom to have my bath, I sat at the the bathtub for some minutes, I had a cold shower even though it was still morning, I just needed something that would make my head to be cool.
I spent so much time in the bathroom, so that I call feel the coldness of the water running on my body and it was a bit of relief for me as I enjoyed the water. I can out of the bathroom and headed straight to the dinning room to have my breakfast, I did not want to add hunger to my problems, ever since all of these started, I have not heard a good meal.
I personally instructed the cook to make one of my favorite foods so that I can be able to eat.
"Hey ma'am,here is a glass of milk, it would make you feel better," my staff said, offering me a glassful of milk.
"Thank you so much," I replied and took it from her to drink before settling for my food. And like magic, it actually made me feel good.
I quietly had my breakfast and went back upstairs to have a change dress,I put on a very nice dress, I checked my schedule to see that I really had nothing much lined up for the day, so I decided to go see my attorney.
I called out my driver to come and drive to the attorney's office. As we drove, I thought of what I am going to do with my father's company, it was gradually going down. I was glad that Ethan did not follow up with his plans with my uncle else it would have been a very big wreck.
Filled with thoughts, I did not even realize we have gotten to the attorney's office.
"Ma'am, we are at the attorney's office here," my driver said.
I got down from the car and headed to the attorney's office, we were greeted by the presence of his personal secetary.
"Hello, I am Erica Tyler Wood's,I am here to see attorney Raul Gonzalez," I greeted.
"Okay, ma'am, do you have an appointment with him?" She asked me..
With so much in my head, I realized that I forgot to book an appointment with the attorney.
"No, I do not have an appointment with him,but you can please tell him is Erica Tyler Woods," I pleaded with her.
"Okay ma'am, give me a second, I let me inform him and see if he would be chanced to see you," replied.
She went in to the attorney's office to inform him of my presence, I prayed in my heart for him to be chanced because I really need to have this done as quickly as possible.
She came out from the office asked me to go in.
I went into attorney Raul's office, it was quite a big office, it has so many wards of honour and merit awards in it. With so much professional books,I guess attorney reads alot, I am not surprised, judging from his level of knowledge and intelligent, I know he must have read so much.
Raul Gonzalez is the most sort after attorney in the country, he has won so many cases that seemed impossible to win. He has been my dad's personal attorney and as well our company attorney.
His has a great reputation, he is hired by top government officials and prominent men and women.
"Hello attorney, goodday," I greeted him.
"Hello Miss Tyler, nice to meet you,how are you doing?" He replied.
"I am doing great sir," thank you.
"I came irrespect of my marriage with Ethan and secondly to take my decision about the company," I said to him"
"So tell me Erica, what is your decision about the company and what do you intend doing to your uncle and your husband," he asked me.
