Chapter 47

The wedding in top gear and everything is set, sooner than later I would taking a marital vows to spend the rest of my life with Ethan.
I never believed that could be married soon, what makes me happy is that I was would also be able take charge my inheritance.
I put so much energy in making sure that the wedding turns out great, I even though it is a small wedding, U am sure it will still have a way of stealing out to the media.
I took my time and went to the beach to be sure all the requested items are put on reservation. I checked Ethan again and I found that he is not putting much energy into the preparation but I let it slide, perhaps he isn't the type that loves to prepare for occasions.
Finally the day of my wedding came. I had earlier called my designer to come help me out with my dress and also applying makeup to my face and she arrived yet in time.
I looked around my house, soon my marital status would be changing for the best. I had spoken to Ethan for us to continue living in my dad's mansion, since his own is very small and I would not like to sell my dad's mansion, and he accepted.
I had my bath while to get set for my makeup. I looked at my phone I saw that I have missed a call from Ethan. I decided to returht his call.
"Hello Ethan, I am sorry I missed your call," I apologized.
"It's okay dear, how is your preparation going," he asked
"Well,it is going fine , thank you," I reply.
We talked for few more minutes before dropping the call.
I went into the bathroom to have my bath, I hurriedly took my bath because I did no want to waste any more time.
I told my designer that I was ready, and immediately the makeup process all began, she gave a very clean and beautiful makeover bifiting of a bride. I kept smiling whikt admiring myself in the dressing mirror. She made her to give it that perfect look.
I wore my wedding dress and also wore my jeweries. When I everything was ready, I stepped out of the room to get going.
I entert the already decorated car. Our driver got in and we got going. My uncle has been waiting for my at his place so I told the driver to get his house first so that he could join us in the car as he would be the one to hand me over to Ethan.
I was more than excited, I would soon be getting married and have a family of my own. I got a text from Ethan that he was already at the vent and that he was there waiting for me together with the priest. I was happy that he made it earlier to the venue.
We got to the beach to the few people waiting for my arrival, we did not invite much people.
My uncle and I stepped out of the car, later the main wedding began as we came.
The priest informed my uncle that it was time to bring me to Ethan for the taking of vowels to begin,
My uncle took me by the hand while we proceeded to where the Ethan with the priest.
ANTHONIO'S POV
I was lost in thoughts and wishing the wedding to over soon, when I heard the priest call out to me to bring Erica to the alter. I stood up immediately and holding Erica by the hand to take him in the front where Ethan and the priest was standing.
As I held Erica by the hand walking towards the priest, I was happy that all the things I have planned I gradually working out. Sooner than later Erica will be Ethan's. And Ethan would use his position as Erica's husband to us her wealth. I was full of smiles.
Ethan has been pretending so well for Erica to fall in love with him so quickly.
I came closer to where they were standing and handed over Erica to Ethan for the exchange of the marital vows.
The priest brings out the ring for the exchange of the vows.
"I Erica, takes you Ethan to be my lawful wedded husband, to love and to cherish, in sickness and health till death do is part," Erica recited her vows. And slipped the ring into Ethan's finger.
It was the turn of Ethan to make his own vows, I noticed the look in his face, it was like that of person taking the greatest decision of his life, getting married to someone and would soon be divorcing the person quite soon. I know this is hard for Ethan but he has no choice since he would be collecting a huge amount of money, plus we would divide the proceeds of the company as soon as he gets it from Erica.
It took the intervention of the priest to remind Ethan to say his own vows.
"Mr Ethan,can you please say your vows right now," the priest said. Looking at Ethan.
"Oh I am sorry, my mind was off, can you please repeat the questions now?" he said.
"I said it is time for you to say your own vows now," the priest repeated.
"I Ethan, takes you Erica to be my lawful wedded wife, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health,till death do us part," he said.
And the priest continued with other rites.
ERICA'S POV
I do not seem to understand why Ethan forgets his lines, at the wedding ceremony, he seemed like his mind was someone else, he seems uninterested in the things that was going on around him, but I guess he was just overwhelmed with the sudden wedding and all that and I quite understood him.
After exchanging the necessary vows, we signed the marriage certificate to seal our marriage, our staff served food and drinks to the few people that came with us to witness the wedding.
After that we proceeded to the car to go home. As we came into the car, I looked at Ethan in the face.
"Hey sweetie, you seem like your mind is elsewhere, is there something bothering you, you can share it with me, you know we are a couple now and you are free to discuss anything with me," I said.
"There is no problem dear, I am very fine nothing is wrong," he replied.
"But why then is your face like that, you look like something is bothering you?" I asked him.
"There is nothing bothering, I am just tired ,we need to go and rest and have some sleep, and I am just surprised that everything is happening too fast, I love you," he assured me. He held my hand and kissed it.
I totally understand how Ethan feel, but that is what he has always wanted, so I see no reasons why he sounds suprised. I was happy to be married, as we we rode in the car back to the mansion, I began to imagine what it means to be married.
How to run my home, and if Ethan and I would be having kids anytime soon and how many kids we would be having.
Ethan and I have already discussed how we will run the company, he told me he would like to be incharge of the company, While I engaged in other things of my interest. I was skeptical about accepting that because the company is where my whole mind is and is there reason I went to Abroad to study and even got married.
After much consideration, I gave to Ethan's suggestion, he would be incharge of the company, since we are both one by the virture of our marriage, and since he has promised to be sure that everything would go on well and the company would rise to greater heights.
Ethan and I have come to love each other and I would not want anything to jeopardize the love that we both share, I want to have a successful marriage, so I am ever ready to put in the efforts that would make our marriage work. We are both one now and everything would be done in unison. So leaving the company in Ethan's care is going to be a great choice.
I smiled, knowing that I have someone by my side, that would help me run the affairs of everything including my dad's business.
We talked about alot in the car and laughing at our jokes. Ethan was beginning to be lively again.
It is ready amazing to be married and I can not wait to enjoy the feelings that comes along with it, the feelings of being someone's wife and hopefully someone's mother too.
It was almost night fall when we got to the house.
