The doctor and I? discussed at length, I found he owned the clinic,it actually took him his own personal efforts to acquire this clinic and take it to the level it is right now. He decided to incorporate with the rescue mission group because he felt it would be an avenue to give back to society.
He had also lost his? younger sister in an accident? two years ago because there was no clinic around to attend to them as quickly as possible.
The mention of the loss of his sister really affected him, because I see the flash of pain in his eyes.I guess his sister has been very dear to him, just like my parents were to me.
I was really enjoying the company of this doctor, because in a short while, I have not even? been able to smile , no to talk or laugh the way I am doing right now with the cute doctor Albert.
Doctor Albert has a good sense of humor, I have not had this kind of moment with an opposite sex for a while now.
After we stayed on the balcony for an hour, I decided to go in to check on him. I went and my uncle was still with my dad in the room.
"Hey, where on Earth have you been, I have been waiting for you for ages?". My uncle asked as soon as I stepped into the room.
"Uncle I? went outside to get some fresh air." I told him.
"I saw you talking to that cute doctor, tell me is he asking you out hun?" My uncle asked.
" What?Uncle please don't be ridiculous, how can you say a thing like that ?" I tried to stop him from thinking that I was already flirting with the doctor.
?He smiled, he told me to be careful while I watch over my dad, and with those he left the hospital back to the house.
ANTHONIO'S POV
When I saw the doctor speaking with Erica and they both were smiling ceaselessly, I became worried, Erica is a very beautiful girl with enchanting smiles tbt could melt the heart of any young man, the doctor on his own is also quite cute, so it will not even be difficult for the the two of them to fall IN love with each other.?
I pray they don't fall in love because they both fall in love and get married ,or means I will be handing over the company to Erica so soon. I would not want that because I intend using the company to enrich myself while Erica studies abroad. I left the hospital to my house, on my way out of the room where my brother Tyler was,I wanted to go meet the doctor to stylishly ask him if he already has something to do with my niece already, but I decided against it.
I hurriedly left the hospital to attend to other matters of importance.
ERICA'S POV
?Immediately my uncle left, I bowed my head a bit to catch a little sleep. Doctor Albert came in and asked me to go home to get some rest so that the nurse would take care of my dad. I took his suggestion. I went outside and realized I have been keeping Fabian waiting all this while. He had even slept off in the car when I came out.
"Oh my God!" I exclaimed seeing Fabian. My little shout of surprise woke him up.
"I am really sorry Fabian , I totally forgot you are still here" I sincerely apologise to him.
"It is okay ma'am, there is no problem at all" He replied to me.
" How is Sir Tyler doing?" He quickly added.
"He was able to speak to my uncle and I ,but he has gone back to sleep, let us go home so that I can freshen up and come back to stay with him" I responded.
"Yes ma'am" Fabian answered and we drove off.
When I got to the house I met Beatrice by the door. She greeted me and equally asked me about the welfare of my dad and mum. I broke the sad news to her..
I know the effect of what happened to my dad and mum is going to affect the staff a great deal.
I got into my room to freshen up, while I was in the shower decided to enjoy the warm bath I was having. It felt really good and refreshing. I let the water flow from the shower cap down to my beautiful and soft skin.?
I took enough time in the bathroom just so I could enjoy more of the water rather than just rushing out of the bathroom.? I was in the room when I heard the ringing of my cell phone, so I hurriedly stepped out of the bathroom to answer the call.
It was an unknown number that was calling, I was wondering who was calling this time around because I have heard enough bad news for the day already. I reluctantly answered the call, I heard the sweet masculine voice from the other end of the phone.
"Hi it is doctor Albert" the voice said.
I wondered how doctor Albert got my cell phone number, but then he could have gotten it from the documents I filled at the clinic, because I had written down my phone number in case they needed to contact me directly.
"Hello, are you there Miss Erica?" He repeated when I did not say anything.
"Um, yes doctor Albert, good day" I said to him.
"I just wanted to check up on you and know how you are fairing" He said I've the phone.
"I am good doctor, thank you for checking up on me, I really do appreciate your care" I was surprised that doctor Albert called to check up on me. Ever since the incident of my dad's and mum's accident, speaking with doctor Albert was the only thing that gave me some sort of comfort.
"Alright you do take care of yourself okay?" He said,
"Yes, I will,thanks once again for your help" I said and dropped the phone.
At first when I received his call,O was scared something bad might have happened to my dad, but after dropping the call I was glad and happy it was not any other bad news.
After freshening up, I wore a silky house dress. I remembered that this beautiful pink silky house dress was bought by my ex boyfriend. He really loved the dress a great deal and I was always happy to see me whenever we spoke on Skype.
But then all is now in the past,I no longer have a boyfriend,not even one to make me feel like the woman I am, but one thing I know is I am a very pretty and sexy lady,maybe the guys are just scared of approaching me, the rich daughter of Tyler's empire.
I brought out my laptop to attend to the mail I had received earlier, the mail I call my saving grace. The instructions were that I should respond to the mail immediately , that was the main reason I legty dad and mum in the car on our way to the occasion.?
I read through the mail.I knew I was already late in responding to the mail, but then I had to try my luck on it. I did not want to lose the university admission offer.?
I put in my login details to the school portal, filled the necessary documents and profiles, when I finished with filling the details, I sent the email back to the school portal, a few minutes later they replied and acknowledged to have received my details and that it is under review.
"Thank goodness" I uttered and felt fulfilled to have achieved a little part of my academic stuff.
Few minutes later the school sent another email to me, about my review process and confirmed everything was in order and that I should prepare to be in the school for the next two weeks.
'Oups, two weeks' time, that is such a short time to prepare myself coupled with everything that is happening right now' I thought to myself..
I had to arrange everything I will be needing on time, and also prepare myself.
Well, I had no choice, I had to prepare for it as quickly as possible.
I took up my cell phone and dialed the hospital's office line to inquire about the status of my dad's health.
The call was received by the line voicemail, I guess the nurses on duty were busy attending to patients.
I dropped a message to the voicemail. I had wanted to catch some sleep ,but I needed to confirm everything was okay at the clinic before going to sleep, so I dialed the number again and this time it was answered by one of the nurses on duty.
"Hello,this is Miss Erica, how is my dad doing?" I spoke into the phone.
"Hi, this is nurse Ella, your dad is sleeping ma'am." She said,
Hearing that my dad is fine and sleeping, I went to sleep.
