Chapter 54

With the evidence I gathered from Ethan, I headed straight to the attorney's office. In my heart I prayed that the evidence would be enough to send them to jail. They both deserves to spend enternity in jail.
I called Albert to know if he would be available to follow me to the attorney's office. He informed me that he wout be busy at the hospital as he has people to attend to, so I left to the place alone.
I got to attorney Raul's office and I met several people waiting for him, so I had to wait for it to get to my turn before I could see him. As a very prominent lawyer and one who is good at what he does, it was quite usual to have lots of people who would want to hire his services.
I waited for some hours before it got to my turn to see him. The secetary informed me that I could go in to see him.
"Goodday attorney," I greeted him.
"Hello Erica, please sit, you are welcome to my office today," he said, pointing to the seat in his office.
"Thank you attorney,"I replied and sat down.
"So miss Erica, were you able to gather enough evidence to send Ethan and your uncle to jail?" He asked me.
"Yes attorney, I brought this, bit I just hope it is really enough to send them to jail, I can not afford to see them keep walking around freely like nothing happened," I said, handing him the recording I had made when Ethan came to the house.
He took the flash drive from me and slotted it into his laptop, to watch and listen to it. After watching it ,he looked at me with smiles in his face.
He informed me that he would keep a copy for himself for documentation purposes.
"Erica, you have more than enough evidence, with this you have here, it would be so easy to win this case and to send them both to jail," he said.
"That is good attorney," I replied.
"You are such a smart and intelligent young lady, I am happy with what you were to come up, I would make sure that I help you win this case in court and serve your dad tbe just that he deceives, I would a copy a of it while you go home with a copy too," he said.
"Thank you do much attorney, I really appreciate this," I shook hands with him and left.
"Do not mention, I would quickly go to get a warrant from the police to get him arrested immediately.
I left attorney Raul Gonzalez's office feeling very fulfilled. I decided to stop over at the fashion house where I was still learning fashion designing.I had wanted to quit following all that has being happening around me, but I continued with it, as it is for my own good, I walked and some of the people there lokk
As as I was at the fashion academy, I got a text from attorney Raul to return to his office so that we could proceed to my uncle's house house to get arrested. I went back to his office and met him waiting for at the premises of his chamber. The few workers I saw outside were speaking in lower voices from their discussions I got to know that the chamber belonged to attorney Raul Gonzalez.
I waited for for seconds before he finally came out from his office.
"I am sorry miss Erica, for keeping you waiting," he apologized.
"That is okay attorney, I understand you have lots of clients to attend to," I replied.
"Yes,great number of them, with different issues," he added.
"So attorney, where are we heading to right now?" I asked him.
"We would be going to the corps to get a warrant, so that we would arrest your uncle for some questioning and possibly detain him.
We went straight to the corps.
' I know my uncle is very wicked man, I pray he does not manipulate the his way to get freed, I have heard cases where the corps were bribed and a suspect gets out of the station without paying for his crimes'
Attorney Raul assured me that he would make sure that does not happen, that he would use his influence to mak sure that he gives me Justice.
"Hello, I am attorney Raul Gonzalez, and this is my client Miss Erica Tyler, I would like to see your chief," attorney Raul said to one of the corps we met there.
"You are welcome attorney,you can go that way, that is the office of the chief," the man said. Pointing to a door at the far end of the building.
We both went closer to the door and the secetary informed us, that she would have to go in and inform the chief of our presence.
She came out and told us that we would go in about a minute's later.
Finally we went into the office of the chief. He was man in his late forties, he was a good looking man, his office table was decorated with portraits of two kids and a beautiful woman, perhaps the people in the picture were his family, so I guess he would understand what it means for someone to loose his parents and now wants for them.
The office was a very big office, it had do much contained in it, on they wall hung tbe picture of the president and other government officials and tbe general chief security officer of the country.
"Hello chief, I am attorney Raul Gonzalez,and here with me is my client Miss Erica Tyler," attorney Raul introduced.
"You are welcome attorney, pleasw have your seat and how may I help you?" he asked.
"My client has some complains to make against some people and he would also like to get an arrest warrant to enable us to bring the accused to this place for questioning and possibly detain him," attorney Raul said.
"Hey Miss,can I hear from you?" the chief asked me.
Even though I was hurt because mere asking me to explain everything is like reminding everything that has happened.
I summoned up courage to explain him everything that has happened, everything that has happened between my uncle, Ethan and I.
After sometime in the office of the chief, he granted us a warrant to get my uncle arrested for murder and Ethan for consipiracy.
He wished us good luck and we left his office,he sent some corps to go along with us.
We got to my uncle's house and met him packing some of his lugages,so he had wanted to pack some of his clothes, perhaps to leave the city. Fortunately we met him in the house.
"Hello,Mr Anthonio, you are here invited for some questioning at the divisional headquarters," one of the corps told him, showing him a warrant to arrest him.
He reluctantly followed them to the police van, he looked at my face and tried to say something but the police but my attorney asked me not to say a word to him.
We equally went to Albert's house and got him arrested and they were both taken to the police headquarters.
Albert made a of attempts not to follow us but the corps that came with us put him in cuffs, he was weeping uncontrollably and trying so hard for him to show me how much he loved me, but all that was too late already, soon he would've cooling off in jail for allowing himself to be used because of his greed for money.
We got to the police headquarters and they were being interrogated respectively based on the evidence that I brought against him.
My uncle tried to deny some of the things that Ethan said in the video, but Ethan insisted that he said that.
I told my attorney to prepare sn annulment papers so that Ethan could sign. My attorney came with the already prepared annulment papers and presented them to Ethan.
Ethan begged for me to give him a chance to prove that he truely loves me,but I paid deaf eyes to his pleas and insisted he signs the papers, it was a hard decision but I needed to do was best for my sanity's sake.
We waited patiently for Ethan to sign the annulment papers and when he did they were locked.
I asked my attorney what will be the next thing to do , he said, he would charge them to court so that they would face the full wrath of war.
