I immediately contacted a wedding planner, I searched through the internet to get the very best of a wedding planner.
I came across the page of one of the best wedding planners in the city, he organises the wedding of top celebrities and also top influential people in the society. I searched for the contact of his office and got, I called them to tell them the kind wedding I would love to have.
I have always envisioned having a very elaborate wedding. The kind of weddings celebrities have, my dad had always promised to make sure that wedding is the talk of town.
Even in his absence I would still want that to happen.
I dialed the phone number of the event planner that I got from the page. And someone answered the call. I told them what I wanted.
I was later asked to the physical address to have some things sorted out.
I sent a text message to Ethan informing him of where I was going to, I told him to come over to the place so that we can both make the choosing together.
When I did not get any response from him I decided to call him on the phone.
"Hi Ethan," I said into the phone.
"Hi love,"Ethan responded.
"I already found a good wedding planner for us, can you come over, Let's go and see him at his office.
"Okay love, I will be joining you soon," he replied.
I like the fact that Ethan and I are building our love so fast, we are getting attached to each other faster than I had expected.
I met him on the road and we both proceeded to see the wedding planner. On the way, we talked about our aspirations and love. Ethan kept promising to love me more and more.
There was something that did not seem right with his actions but I let it slide because I did not want to spoil the good moments we were having with negative thoughts.
We got to the office of the wedding planner and walked straight to his office. We got to the office, a man probably in his early thirties, sat behind the desk.
"Hello Mr, I am Erica and here is my Fiance Ethan, I called you earlier to inform you that I would be coming around," I introduced.
"You are welcome ma'am, please have a seat please," he said pointing to the seat in his office.
"Thank you," I replied, Ethan and I sat down.
"So tell me,what kind of wedding would you like to have," he asked.
"Can you give us a run down of the kind l weddings that are available to choose from," I asked.
"Well ma'am, we allow our clients to tell us how they want their wedding to be, but let me give you options to help you out, we have a simple wedding, the simple wedding only few family members and close friends are invited for attendance, then we have a big wedding ,whereby you invite as much number of people as you want, then you decide if you would like to be wedded in the church or at the beach," he explained.
I loved the fact that one could choose from different options available, I know that I had always wanted to be wedded in the church and to also have a very big party, but right now it is not just about me, Ethan is now my fiance and his intentions would be put into consideration too.
Turning to Ethan I asked him.
" what kind of wedding would you want us to have"
"I would like to have a very simple wedding, just you and I and your uncle," he replied.
"Why would you want us to have that kind of wedding," I asked him.
"Well that is the kind of wedding I want," he said.
"Well, I am a woman and so it is my day,so I would like to have a very elaborate wedding, I want my wedding to be attended by all and sundry, I want to invite my dad's friends and alos his business associates. Do not forget the daughter of who I am," I told him. I would also like to be wedded in the church" I added.
"Erica, all of that does not really matter, what is important is that we are getting married,there is no need to throw up such loud wedding and waste funds, let u just have a small beach wedding." he insisted.
Ethan's choice did not go down well with me, how can I not have a wedding of my choice?
I honestly need to throw a big wedding party.
I had no choice than to accept Ethan's choice, I did not want us to argue in the office of the wedding planner. So we choose to have a simple wedding beach wedding.
I called my uncle on the phone to inform him of The wedding arrangements.
He was so happy that I would soon be getting married to Ethan, I know my uncle hardly accepts people but I can not tell why he readily accepted my marriage to Ethan. I was glad that he did not reject another suitor from me.
Ethan calls day and night to check up on me, I began to feel very loved by him, on several occasions, he would shower me with lots of gifts.
Few days later I went back to the wedding planner's office to see him to make sure everything is going as planned,and I was impressed with the so much efforts he had put in the planning of my wedding.
Ethan and t went to meet the priest at the church to inform him of intentions to get wedded at the beach ragther than the church.
He questioned out decision to wedded at the beach, but we told him it our choice, we asked him to come to the beach to Join us together as man and wife and he obliged, promising to come conduct the rites of holy matrimony for us.
Ethan and I were very glad and we went home very happy. We went to the beach resort in the city to equally make some reservations.
I went to the designer in charge of my wedding dress,to pick a wedding dress, when I got to the shop, I saw so many beautiful wedding dresses, I made the best choice for myself.
While trying it on, it fitted perfectly into my body, looking at myself in the mirror, I saw how beautiful I looked, I am really going to make a beautiful bride to Ethan, but what's with all the beauty when there would be no much guests to admire my dress. I sighed.
I took of the dress, and went to the collection of shoes, it was filled with the best designer shoes in the world, quite expensive but the beauty Worth's the prices attached on them, and I came prepared, I would not mind spending a fuctune on my wedding day as long as I get the best of things that I want.
Going through the shoes, I could not make a choice so easily, as the shoes were so cute and lovely. After a long search ,I decided to settle for Calvin Klein's open toes silver heel. It was the best and most expensive in the collection. I tried it on and it matched my feet. I went to the jewelry section of the shop to choose a jewelry and choose the best.
When I was through, I paid for the items I ordered for, and left the shop.
Going home, I decided to call Ethan to know how he's been preparing for the wedding.
"Hi Ethan, have you bought your suit already?
"Hi love, I am sorry, I have not been able to buy anything yet," he replied.
Hearing that Ethan has not bought anything for a wedding that would be holding the next day kept in shock.
"Why have you not gone to buy a suit yet, our wedding is holding tomorrow Ethan," I asked him.
"Yeah, I know, I don't think there is any need to buy a new suit, I can always use the ones I have," he said.
"No Ethan, it is our wedding, you are supposed to get a new suit for it, moreso do I need to remind you that a wedding suit is different from s regular suit," I said.
"Okay,fine, I will go later to get that," he said.
"No baby, you are getting it right away, come let us together to get it for you," I insisted.
I waited for him to come to meet me so that we could go get him a new suit.
We stopped over a shop, the shop was a very big one, so men nice men's wears were in display, Ethan made his choice and we paid for it .
