Chapter 34
Rudolf's POV
“Trust me, Rudolf. Every action you take with love and sincerity will bring you closer to your daughter. Unite and protect your family with the power of love and hope in your heart all can be overcome,” she replied, her voice flowing like a soothing breeze.
Looking at her face, I began to feel calm. In my heart, I felt re-energized with courage and hope. If love was the way, then I knew what steps I had to take.
“I promise, Moon Goddess. I will find a way to bring Emma back,” I said firmly, my passion starting to burn within me. “I will not give up.”
The Moon Goddess smiled, giving me her blessing and encouragement. “Remember, your strength lies in your ties to family. Keep hoping and acting, and the stars will help guide your way.”
After saying goodbye to the Moon Goddess, I left the shore with a lighter heart. Even so, my anxiety and worry still raged within me regarding the safety of Mikayla and Emma. As I walked, the cool night air caressed my face, giving me a temporary sense of calm.
However, suddenly, in the middle of my steps, I came across someone who looked strange. He was a werewolf, with a strong and mysterious gaze. “Rudolf,” he said, saying my name in a deep voice. “I am here to help you.”
I was shocked and a little wary. “What do you mean? Who are you?” I asked, trying to stay calm even as my heart raced.
"I know where your daughter is. She's somewhere far away from here," he explained, his tone serious and knowing. "But to find her, you have to do something specific."
My heart pounded in my chest as he continued. "You have to find the crystal stone that sits at the top of Ghost Mountain. It has the power to protect and restore the lost. Without it, you won't be able to save your daughter."
A mixture of anticipation and tension filled my heart. "But what if it's too dangerous? I can't let anything happen to you while I search, not to mention saving another lost one," I said, as if speaking softly to myself.
The werewolf stepped closer, his eyes boring into mine. "This is no time to hesitate. If you want Emma back in your arms, you have to be brave enough to face whatever lies there. The power of your love and your will to protect your family is key."
Hearing that, I felt a new sense of determination. "I'll go. I'll do anything for Emma," I said, determined and committed.
He nodded. "Before you go, remember that the power is within you. Don't let fear or doubt hold you back. No matter what happens on this journey, believe in yourself."
With renewed vigor flowing through me, I thanked the werewolf. Realizing that I now had a clear purpose, I walked away from that place with confidence. I took a deep breath and hope returned to me.
I prepared for the journey to Ghost Mountain, preparing everything I needed. No matter how difficult the path was, I was determined to find the crystal stone and save my daughter, Emma.
I said goodbye to Mikayla, who looked worried. As the alpha and father, I knew how important it was to protect my family and the pack. Moreover, Emma was my daughter, whom I had to find and protect.
“Mikayla, don’t worry. I will do this for all of us. I will bring Emma back,” I said, trying to reassure her. Even though I felt anxious inside, I tried to be firm.
She looked at me with eyes full of hope and longing. “But what if there is danger? You know the mountain is filled with challenges, and I am afraid you will get hurt,” she said, her voice full of worry.
“Trust me. The power of the wolf is within me, and I will not let anything stop me. I will return safely,” I replied, reassuring her. I kissed her forehead, leaving a sense of calm in her heart even though I also felt heavy leaving her.
After saying goodbye, I set off towards Ghost Mountain with the power of the wolf flowing within me. Every step felt steady, and my spirit surpassed my fear.
When I arrived at the foot of the mountain, I could feel the aura of protection and challenge surrounding the place. With my mission and love for Emma in mind, I gathered my strength. In my heart, there was a reality that I could not return without finding the precious crystal stone.
As an alpha, I ran with incredible speed and agility, feeling the wind blowing through my fur. Every fiber of my being radiated the spirit to protect my family. Imagining Emma’s face and the hope of being able to bring back her smile made me even braver.
On the way up, various obstacles stood in my way. But the power of the wolf within me enabled me to get through them all. I relied on my instincts and sharp sense of beauty to navigate along the way.
Halfway through the journey, a distinct scent wafted through the air—something unsettling. Cautiously, I tracked the scent’s source. In a flash, I saw the trail left by a strange creature that might threaten my daughter. It was a sign that I was not alone in my quest.
The knowledge of the danger loomed large in my resolve. As an alpha, I had to be prepared for anything. Emma was waiting for me. Nothing would stop me from saving her and bringing us back together.
Keep going, the law of the story I was in, I promised myself. No matter how hard this struggle was, for the sake of my family, I would fight to the end.
I encountered a half-dragon creature blocking my path. Its body was large and gleaming, with scales that reflected the moonlight. Its expression stared at me defiantly, and I knew this was no ordinary encounter.
“Let me in,” I said, trying to sound confident despite the tension inside.
