Chapter 72
Mikayla's POV
I also couldn’t believe that I was a werewolf with the new powers I had. It was hard to accept that there was a part of me that was so different. However, Rudolf tried to calm me down, instilling the necessary confidence.
“Mikayla, believe me, Emma has a wolf inside her, but Daniel is a human. He doesn’t have a wolf soul,” Rudolf said, trying to make his point clear.
I tried to understand what Rudolf was saying. The thought that Emma could have a wolf soul had me shocked and thinking about many things at once. If Emma inherited this power, what would it mean for her future? And how should we guide her?
“So, if Emma has a wolf soul, does that mean she will experience the same thing as me?” I asked, still trying to dig deeper.
“Yes, maybe. However, everyone has their own unique way of dealing with this power. Sheila will be different, and we must be ready to guide her well. We will do it together, just like we would do for you,” Rudolf said, his voice full of conviction.
I felt affected by his words. If it was true that Emma had a wolf soul, we had to raise awareness to educate and protect our child well. I felt a greater responsibility on my shoulders.
“I have to believe that too because we are family. Together, we can face anything that comes. If we stick together and continue to support each other, we will be able to overcome any challenge,” I said, trying to instill encouragement into my soul.
Rudolf nodded, his smile showing how proud he was of me. “Exactly, Mikayla. We will make our home a place where all power and love come together. It’s time for us to find the right path to live this life positively.”
We continued our conversation, planning how we could best deal with this new power. “We could create an exercise routine for you and Emma so that we can all learn together,” Rudolf shared his thoughts.
“Yes, that sounds like a great idea! We could do it outside, in a more open environment, so that we can feel the energy of nature,” I replied excitedly. My mind began to fill with new hopes and plans.
Rudolf then said, “And for Daniel, we can guide him to understand how to support us, even though he is a human being. We need to explain so that he doesn’t feel isolated or confused.”
I nodded, knowing how important his role as a brother was to Emma and how we needed to maintain harmony within the family. “We will involve Daniel in fun ways so that he feels connected, not separate.”
With the panic that had crept in, our spirits grew even higher. At that moment, we started discussing plans to spend time together as a family.
"How about we plan a picnic at the beach this weekend? We can have fun, and at the same time we can train outside," I suggested.
"That's a great idea! We can bring food and play in the sand. It will bring us closer together as a family," Rudolf replied, excitement starting to show on his face.

Unexpectedly, I felt myself getting very cold. Anxiety started to envelop me, and I didn't know what was happening right now. Suddenly, I felt myself being carried into a dark forest, and panic started to creep into my heart.
As I tried to comprehend the situation, several wolves suddenly appeared in front of me, blocking my way. "Who are you guys?" I asked, my voice shaking with fear.
They seemed to be smiling, grinning as if they were enjoying this moment. My fear grew stronger as I saw their sharp gazes. In my mind, I tried to think of a way to escape, but my legs felt heavy.
“Calm down, Mikayla. We had no intention of harming you,” one of them finally spoke, his voice deep and melodious. “We are descended from the wolf race, like you.”
My heart lurched at their claim. “But… how do you know who I am? Why am I here?” I asked, trying to remain calm despite the nagging anxiety.
“This is where you come from. We have seen the changes in you and as a werewolf, you must know your extended family,” the wolf explained, grinning casually. “We are here to guide you and help you understand the power that lies within you.”
Confusion and fear mixed within me. “But… I don’t understand. This all feels strange and scary,” I said, trying to hold back the panic that was beginning to take over my mind.
“Don’t worry, every newly awakened wolf feels the same way. This is part of your journey. We want to help you master these changes and explore the werewolf world more deeply,” the wolf spoke again, his voice full of affirmation.
But even as I hesitated, a part of me was touched by the grace of their presence. The tension between us slowly faded as I thought about what they might offer.
“Come join us and find yourself,” another wolf called, his eyes shining with excitement.
I took a deep breath, feeling that this was an opportunity to understand who I really was.
With all my doubts and fears, I prepared to follow them.
“Okay, I want to learn,” I said firmly, trying to gather my courage and walk toward them.
With each step, I began to feel that this was part of the journey I had come to find—and with courage.
I was led into a cave, and inside, the atmosphere was different. There were people partying, the atmosphere was lively, full of laughter and music. What were they doing here? I didn’t know any of them. It was so foreign and intimidating.
A sense of anxiety and confusion filled me. Seeing new faces and hearing unfamiliar conversations was unnerving. In the crowd, I tried to stay calm, but my heart was pounding.
Suddenly, one of the men approached me and called out to me. “Hey, you must be Mikayla! Welcome to our place!” he said cheerfully, looking at me excitedly.
“Who are you? What’s going on here?” I asked, still feeling doubtful and confused.
