Zara's POV
The night breeze hit our bodies. Even though we were wearing jackets, it still felt very cold. Especially Doctor Leo who wasn't wearing a jacket now. Of course, he would be very cold. I watched him from behind through the side of his face. I saw that he was quite handsome too. But suddenly I saw something strange on the back and tip of his earlobe.
"Huh?" I spontaneously whispered
"Why?"
Bang.
"Aaaaaaa."
Instantly, my body was thrown up; luckily, I was still able to stay on this motorbike, and my feet were back on the ground. It turned out that the front wheel of the motorbike stumbled over a pothole. It was so dark tonight that even the motorbike lights couldn't reach the road clearly. Not to mention the weather which was quite extreme, disturbing the driver's concentration.
"Are you still okay?" Doctor Leo confirmed.
"Ouch..." Again I experienced the same thing earlier.
"Zaraaaaaaa, hold on!" Doctor Leo suddenly shouted.
I automatically hugged his body tightly. It felt like my heart was about to come out. The road here is quite bad and unpredictable. My body is shaking, and I am unable to let go of my hug.
Finally, we arrived at a well-lit road. I began to feel relieved and began to release my grip on his waist. I felt ashamed to have hugged him from behind, but if I hadn't done it, then I could have been thrown and fallen off the motorbike.
We arrived at the repair shop and immediately met the mechanic to say that my car needed to be repaired immediately. After finishing our planned destination. Doctor Leo and I continued our journey and he rode his motorbike again. I felt different this time. I don't know why I realized that there was something different about me. I felt comfortable with Doctor Leo. I don't know if he felt the same way or not. But clearly, I started to like being with him through the night along the road with various possibilities.
"Is your house still far?"
"Not too far, we'll be there soon."
"Okay."
Finally, we arrived in front of my house. But I saw a car parked in front of my house. I think I recognize the license plate. Yes... Emm... It's Orion's car. Is he here tonight? What's up? For what?
"Here," I said to Doctor Leo.
"Oh yeah." He stopped riding his motorbike.
I got off the motorbike and was already standing on the ground.
"Want to stop by first?"
"Oh no, maybe another time. It's already night, the doctor should use the time to rest so that he can be fit again tomorrow."
Hearing that, I felt appreciated and treated especially by him. I don't know why hearing it was so happy. Maybe I've... Oh no, that's impossible.
"Okay then, thank you for helping me and being willing to take me home to the front of the house."
"Yes, no problem, that's part of my job. Okay, I'll take my leave."
"Yes, be careful on the road! I hope you arrive safely."
"Yes, hopefully."
A moment later, he left by riding his motorbike again; I was still standing there. Until I saw his shadow completely disappear. I started to sigh when I no longer saw the motorcycle moving.
"Oh, I forgot!" I slapped my forehead.
I forgot to return his jacket right away. I was still wearing Doctor Leo's jacket. What about Doctor Leo on the street? He must be cold. But will he come back to get his jacket? Emm. I waited for him for a few minutes while standing there. But he didn't come back. I immediately turned around and went into my house. I saw Orion inside joining my family. They were having dinner, and when they saw me enter the house, they called me and invited me to join them but I refused and went straight into my room.
"Zara, come join! Orion has been waiting for you." Dad said while waving his hand.
Orion also looked at me closely.
"No, Dad, I have to go to the bathroom first to clean up."
"Hey, let's eat first. You're hungry too, right? Poor Orion has been waiting for you."
"No, Dad, I'm so hot. Let's eat later. Besides, I'm not that hungry because I ate a lot in the canteen this afternoon."
"But..."
"It's okay, let Zara clean herself first. She must be dirty from the outside." Orion said.
"Okay." My father said.
I immediately walked back and headed to my room. Finally, I arrived at my room. I lay down on the bed after I locked the door from the inside. I worried that someone would dare to enter my room. Honestly, I didn't want to be disturbed tonight. I lay down and looked up at the ceiling of my room. My hands were wide open, both in a relaxed position.
Suddenly I started to remember the jacket I was still wearing. I was shocked to get up from my bed and sat in thought. I started to take off the jacket I was wearing. After I finished opening it, I started to hug the jacket and smell Leo's perfume, which was still attached. It felt very fresh to inhale. I felt sympathy and liked him.
I don't know when it started, but clearly, I felt that Leo had another unique side that made me interested in him. A few moments later I remembered some of the moments with him earlier. But my daydream was broken because I had to immediately clean myself and go to the bathroom. I did so, and after I finished, I held the jacket again. Suddenly I had a crazy desire tonight. I dared to call him.
Without waiting long, he answered my call, and I felt happy because he responded very quickly.
"Hello, doc."
"Yes, what's wrong? Is there anything I can help you with?"
"No! No! Have you arrived home?"
"Yes, I just arrived, why?"
"No, I just wanted to say thank you for your help earlier and also want to apologize."
"Huh, sorry why?"
"I forgot to return your jacket, were you cold on the way?"
"Not really; yes, it's okay; just keep it for now."
"Okay, then I'll return it after washing it."
"Don't bother."
"No, I'm not bothered, this is already part of my job because I borrowed it."
"Yes, okay, whatever if you don't mind."
"Of course not."
I also talked a lot with Doctor Leo tonight. Until finally I was surprised by the sound of a knock on the door from outside the room. Along with the voice of my father shouting calling me to meet Orion for a moment.
"Zara come out for a moment, meet Orion first! He said he wanted to say goodbye and go home."
I deliberately did not answer him and I lowered the volume of my voice.
