Chapter 84
Zara's POV
Hearing that explanation, I realized that this was a step I had to take, despite the uncertainty. Whatever it took to ensure Kayra and future generations were protected, I would do it. Out of this complicated situation, I wanted to have hope for the future.
While working, Orion was always there to support me. He was not only physically present, but also gave me much-needed encouragement. “Zara, don’t worry. We’ll do this together. Whatever you need, I’m here to help,” he said, in a reassuring tone. His gratitude was genuine, and his presence reminded me that I was not alone in this journey.
We worked together as a team, collecting data, conducting analysis, and digging deeper into information about artificial insemination and how we could apply it to create protection for women’s eggs. This process gave us hope and encouragement, and I felt like there were real steps being taken towards a solution.
Whenever I was unsure about the steps to take, Orion was always there to support me. He listened, made suggestions, and helped ease the stress I was experiencing. “We can’t let you get confused. We have to stay calm and focused. Everything will work out,” he said, reminding me of the importance of keeping a positive mindset.
Amazingly, the simple encouragement from my friends and colleagues made me understand that we were all united in facing this challenge. Amidst the complexity of the problem, there was a deep sense of unity. And I was determined to contribute to protecting future generations with all my might.
The results of the research continued to grow, and each step forward felt like a step toward achieving a goal. If one door failed, we would find another—one that was closed but could still be opened. With the support of my team and Orion’s presence, new hope emerged amidst the difficulties. This world still had possibilities, and I was fighting for them.
Orion and Ismaya continued to provide incredible encouragement. They often gave me encouragement with words of encouragement that made me feel like there was no challenge we couldn’t overcome. “We can do this, Zara! Every small step we take brings us closer to finding a solution!” Ismaya exclaimed with infectious enthusiasm.
Listening to them, I felt a new spirit welling up within me. Despite the complexity and uncertainty of the situation, my team’s courage and conviction gave me an extra boost. Every time we gathered in the lab and shared ideas, I felt the power of unity that made us stronger.
“I believe we can find a safe method so that the ova that are harvested do not endanger the health and survival of women,” I said, trying to share the conviction that was deep in my heart.
Meeting after meeting, under the guidance of biologists, we worked hard to understand how best to protect women’s ova. Over time, we began to develop protocols that could be safely implemented, while also providing training to the community on preventive measures.
I kept thinking about how to provide clear information to all the women affected and keep this awakening of awareness going. In that process, Orion’s support made me feel less alone. He was always there to help organize activities, plan, and even discuss innovative ideas that we could implement.
“Zara, believe in yourself and your team. We are all here because we want to make this world a better and safer place for Kayra and everyone,” Orion said, further strengthening my belief and spirit.
Over the course of days, we put our ideas into a more systematic format. Our small moments of success felt like big wins, generating positive energy within the team. Every achievement, no matter how small, proved that our efforts and hard work had been worth it.
As the weekend approached, we planned a seminar to share our information and educate the public about potential threats and how to protect themselves. The enthusiasm and passion were infectious as we prepared for the event.
With renewed confidence, I stepped into a future full of hope—for Kayra, for all women, and for humanity. And with Orion’s support, my purpose became clearer—it was all for love, protection, and the hope of a better world.
After days of research and collaboration with the team, I finally felt ready to share what we had achieved. Urgently, I invited Letto to come to the hospital to discuss our findings, even though I knew it would be difficult to convince him. Finding Letto was not easy, but after much effort, he finally accepted my invitation.
When he arrived, the atmosphere in the room was tense. “Zara, I’m not sure why you wanted to gather me here,” he said, his expression displeased.
“I want you to listen to everything we’ve done. It’s essential to the survival of humanity,” I said, trying to keep my tone calm.
Letto paused for a moment, but doubt remained in his eyes. “What you’re doing isn’t going to address the real problem. Why do you think this will work?”
Patiently, I began to explain the results of our research, from the prevention protocols to the artificial insemination plan we’d discussed. “The results show that we can protect human eggs and allow for significant preventative measures. If we don’t act now, we could end up losing more women,” I said, trying to make him understand.
But every explanation I gave only made him more frustrated. “You don’t understand, Zara! Protecting these eggs isn’t easy. There are bigger consequences you may not have considered!” Letto let out a sigh, angry and unwilling to accept what we had discovered.
I felt torn between anger and disappointment. "This isn't just about the ovum, Letto! This is about our survival as humans. We're fighting a real threat out there, and we just want to protect everyone, including you!" Of course, my feelings were very strong, but I tried to stay calm.
Letto shook his head, as if rejecting all the information I had given him. "You don't understand. We have our own way of dealing with this, and it has nothing to do with you or the humans on Earth. We won't give up so easily," he said firmly.
