Chapter 47
Zara's POV
During the wedding ceremony, as we shared our vows in front of friends and family, I felt a wave of emotion sweep over me. Every word of our vows seemed to bind us together in a strong and sincere love. Leo held my hand tightly, showing that he was willing to go through all the challenges together.
As the ceremony reached its climax, I looked at Leo and saw the hope in his eyes. I could feel how committed he was to starting a life together and filling our days with happiness. That feeling strengthened my conviction, even though there were still scars from the past that remained.
“Congratulations, it means you deserve to be happy,” Orion said after we finished, then he gave me a warm hug. There was a sense of relief in my heart because he supported my decision. Our relationship might not be what many people expected, but the bond between us would still be cherished.
As we walked out of the room with smiles in front of the guests, I felt the presence of affection around me. Today was not just about me and Leo, but about love, hope, and accepting that sometimes life takes us in unexpected directions.
With renewed vigor, I was ready to face the future, walking with Leo and my loved ones by my side. This moment will forever be etched in my memory as a sign that love can come in many forms, and I am grateful for all the journeys that have brought us to this point.
“Thank you for being my wife,” Leo said, his face shining with genuine happiness. In his eyes, I could see the deep gratitude and love, and my heart fluttered.
I never thought this would happen. From all the doubt and confusion that had plagued me for the past few weeks, here I was, officially Leo’s wife. It felt like all the hardships and mixed feelings just evaporated as I looked at him.
As we looked at each other, time seemed to stop for a moment. Leo leaned in and we shared his first kiss—my first with a man, and now he was my husband. The atmosphere around us was filled with applause and cheers from the friends and family present. They were celebrating us, feeling the joy we had just created.
After the kiss, I could feel a big smile on my face. Happiness flooded my heart as if all the fear and doubt that had ever existed had now been conquered by this sincere love.
Leo put his arm around me, and as we turned to face the smiling guests, I felt the support and love flowing in the air around us. I was now a wife, and I was ready to take on this role with all my heart.
My life has now been turned upside down, bringing a new direction and an opportunity to create a beautiful love story. I am determined to be by Leo’s side, through thick and thin, and build a hopeful future together.
With renewed vigor and confidence, I feel excited to face the days ahead, ready to learn to be the best woman possible for Leo—the husband I have been pursuing, who is now officially the most important part of my life.
After the blissful wedding ceremony, Leo and I went home. However, this time I didn’t go to my house, but to Leo’s house. When we arrived, he smiled at me and said, “This is our home now, so you deserve to feel comfortable here too.”
Hearing his words made me feel warm inside. Even though it was only a day after our wedding, my feelings were mixed between happiness and anxiety. Although I was so happy to be married to Leo, there was one thing that bothered me—I had never met his family at all.
Anxiety slowly began to creep in as I realized how sudden this wedding felt. “Your family, Leo, they don’t know about our wedding,” I said, a little worried. Even though I was sure our relationship was genuine, there was still a sense of curiosity and uncertainty when it came to Leo’s family.
Leo looked at me with understanding. “I know we’re all moving fast, but don’t worry. I’ll introduce you to my family. They’ll be so excited to meet you,” Leo replied, trying to ease my worries.
I felt a little relieved at his answer, but my impatience was still bubbling inside me. “When can we go meet them?” I asked, my voice full of enthusiasm. I wanted so badly to get to know Leo’s family, to get their approval and support, to feel better about our wedding.
“Soon. Maybe this weekend. But I want to make sure you’re ready before we go,” Leo said, taking my feelings seriously. “This is going to be a big moment, and I want everything to go smoothly.”
As I stepped into our new home, I felt a little awkward but also excited. This place felt different, and hearing that Leo wanted to make me a part of his life made me feel grateful. The walls of this house would be a witness to our journey together.
I hoped to be able to build new memories here, not only as a married couple but also in a family bond that would grow stronger. “I’m ready, Leo. I want to be a part of your family,” I said sincerely, hoping that my feelings would be accepted among them.
Leo took my hand and helped me around the house, showing me important places that were more comfortable and warm as we walked together. I knew that our journey was still long, but I felt excited to go through it with him.
With hope in my heart and growing love, I was ready to look forward to the moment of meeting his family. I believed that this marriage would bring us many new adventures, and that’s when our relationship would grow stronger.
