Leo's POV
Tonight made me so confused. Even the slightest feeling of restlessness and anxiety did not move. I understood that my anxiety was really excessive for Zara. After getting confirmation that Zara had returned home. So I went home walking with a shaky feeling. No clear direction and destination now. I was forced to return to where my group was. I felt very tired even though I was not usually like this. Falling in love has made me feel crazy. I have difficulty recognizing myself now. I went back home with a very empty feeling because I had not had the chance to see Zara and make sure of her current condition.
When I arrived at the original place. I found that none of my group had woken up yet. The time showed early morning. I started to lie down again among them. I felt like I had to get rid of negative energy tonight. Before I could finally interact with the others and show my dark side spontaneously. So, I made sure first that my feelings were stable through detoxification by closing my eyes as part of a simple meditation process.
The day had changed after I was able to close my eyes for a few hours. We woke up in a fresh state. I'm also quite different from last night. Starting the day and making sure of our plans this morning.
"Okay, let's start the execution," I said to the others who were now gathering to immediately spread out in the field.
"Let's start getting back up! So that everything will be finished quickly." Neo replied with a raging spirit, encouraging the others to be inspired.
"Yes, this is the first day of our action. Hopefully, everything is successful and smooth." Angkasa said with hope.
We also started to spread out according to the tasks that we were dividing and scheduling. Meanwhile, Neo, Letto, and Briant returned to the hospital to hold a meeting. Because this morning we received information from the group on our cell phones. That there would be a meeting this afternoon. I was immediately rushed to the hospital. Leaving alone as usual using my big motorbike. So that my identity cannot be known and so that others would not be suspicious when they arrive at the hospital later.
"Okay, I'll go first," I said goodbye to the others.
"Yes, be careful Leo, you are the heart of our mission."
"Ready."
I quickly left my group and walked towards my motorbike. I immediately got on the motorbike and started the engine. Then drove very fast. Riding the motorbike at an unusual speed. I wanted to meet Zara soon. Hopefully, she would come, and I would catch her with my eyes. I couldn't wait for that. It felt like I was struggling inside wanting to meet her soon. I stepped on the gas at high speed. Speeding on the road to get to the hospital quickly.
Finally, I arrived at my destination. I immediately rushed into the hospital area. Hoping to be able to find Doctor Zara as soon as possible. But is it possible that she has started working on her first day out of the hospital? Is it possible that her father let her keep working? But I'm sure that she must have insisted on working right away. I still hope that happens too.
I entered my office. Karel greeted me as usual.
"Hey, you're Doctor Leo, you're rare to come early." He was silent for a while but suddenly spoke again.
"Um wait! Are you chasing something or someone that you came earlier than usual? Umm, I'm getting suspicious."
I just kept quiet and glanced at him with a sharp gaze and threw a cold facial expression. He immediately kept quiet and didn't say anything anymore. I immediately started to focus on my work. So that no one would suspect anything, including and especially Karel, who felt like he was always watching my movements and actions.
Karel always wanted to know other people's business, including mine, always like that. It was annoying and I needed to be careful even though he looked like a fool, but he was still dangerous for my safety and security in the process of carrying out this mission.
Suddenly someone knocked on the door and entered the room. I was immediately shocked, hoping that it was Zara. I immediately turned my gaze and neck towards the door. But it turned out that my guess was wrong. I thought it was Zara who came here, but it turned out to be her friend named Ismaya.
"You, I thought it was Doctor Zara." I spontaneously spoke like this without the slightest hope of a filter. I saw a change in expression on Doctor Ismaya's face. Originally, he had shown a radiant facial expression. But when I mentioned Zara's name, I saw a very clear expression of disappointment on his face.
At first, I felt bad. But I realized again that it was not part of my responsibility. I shouldn't think about trivial things and empathize too deeply with him. Because I don't know him that well. Besides, he is also one of my next targets. My target is to steal Ismaya's ovum too. So I don't want to involve feelings like I do with Zara, which is indeed difficult for me to prevent myself. I will also try to let go of my feelings for Zara. Don't let there be an excessive emotional bond between us.
"Sorry for interrupting." She said with an uncomfortable expression.
"Oh no, what's wrong?" I started to make small talk with her.
"Um, no way." She was about to leave and had already turned her back on me.
I frowned and felt strange with Doctor Ismaya's sudden behavior. I really couldn't understand what was going on in her head. Ah, just let it be, I don't care. I started to continue my work. Several hours passed and I didn't find Doctor Zara entering my office. I think she didn't come in today, she couldn't work yet. Is that possible?
Because usually she always makes time to enter my office for various reasons related to work. But this time, she wasn't there; I didn't find her presence there. Hmmm.. I started to feel weak again. Suddenly my body felt weak and had little energy. I really needed Zara's presence as nutrition for myself.
But I didn't get it today. I felt so weak and could only accept the fact that today I would not meet Zara. Until the time came when I reached the end of time. Where my work time was over. I also could not find Zara's presence. But suddenly someone knocked on the door of this room from outside.
