Chapter 32
Zara's POV
“Who are you?” I asked, my voice shaking with uncertainty. I felt like I was in another dimension, outside the hospital room I was supposed to be in. A strange and unusual atmosphere surrounded me, making me feel alienated and confused.
In front of me stood a woman who seemed to be getting closer, with an expression I could not read. “Look at that! That is an alien who wants to take human ova,” she said, her tone full of certainty.
I was shocked by her words. How could this be? It felt like I was trapped in a science fiction movie, and this could not be real. “Alien? What do you mean?” I asked, my voice high-pitched. Tension emanated between us.
The woman shook her head, as if frustrated. “You don’t understand. There is more to this than meets the eye. They are not just ordinary aliens. They come with a darker purpose.”
Fear began to gnaw at my heart, as all knowledge of the real world faded away. With the last breath I had left, I tried to get a clearer picture. “But… where am I? What is happening here?” I asked, glancing around at the flashing lights and strange sounds.
“I don’t know exactly how you said you got here, but we need to find a way to leave,” the woman replied without a pause, looking serious and determined. “They’re coming, and we can’t let them get what they’re looking for.”
The uncertainty and confusion slowly turned to panic. “But… I’m just a human. What can I do?” I asked, pulling myself closer, feeling the need for protection.
“You’re more than that, Zara,” she said, looking at me intently as if trying to convey something big. “There’s a power inside you that you don’t know yet. Now, take this time to find out what you can do.”
My mind raced. Everything I believed in, all my hopes and dreams, seemed to be threatened by this situation. But giving up wasn’t the answer. “Okay,” I said determinedly. “If I have to fight, then I will. I won’t let anyone take anything from me.”
We were both on the verge of something big—an adventure beyond the bounds of reality. As I began to feel the power that might be within me, I knew that this journey had only just begun.
I couldn’t believe it. How could there be aliens on this Earth and walking like humans? Questions raced through my head, confusing me even more. Was it related to the strange phenomenon that was happening in this city, where many women were experiencing early menopause? Tension began to creep up on me as if something bigger was happening behind all of this.
“This can’t be,” I muttered, trying to process the situation I had just faced. “I have to save humanity, but how?”
The woman in front of me looked at me as if sensing the uncertainty that was gripping me. “You’re not alone. We can fight them together,” she said, her voice calm but passionate. “But we need to know more about them. We need to find out where they operate and what their goals are.”
I nodded, feeling the tension slowly turning into excitement. “What do they want? Why are they targeting women’s eggs?” I asked, curious and confused at the same time.
“I heard that they want to create a new species, combining their DNA with humans,” she replied, her face showing the seriousness of the situation. “They believe that by mastering the reproductive aspect of humans, they can change the course of civilization.”
Anger and a desire to protect humanity began to well up inside me. “We can’t let that happen! But where do we start?” I asked, wanting to plan the first steps to confront this threat.
“First, we need to find the source or location they are using to operate in this city. There are rumors of some mysterious locations around here—places shrouded in strange energies,” she said, her face showing conviction.
“I’ll go to those places. If they’re operating around here, I have to find evidence,” I said, my voice full of determination. “We have to warn others and find a way to fight back.”
She smiled, her lips curling up in excitement. “That’s a good start. But remember, we have to be very careful. They might be closer than we think.”
I took a deep breath, feeling the strength well up inside me. Even though this was a crazy and unexpected situation, I knew one thing: I couldn’t stay silent. If there was a way to save humanity and protect the people I loved, I would do whatever it took.
With the first step ahead, I was ready to fight to protect Earth from this unseen threat. We were both prepared for this perilous journey and determined to uncover the mystery that threatened life in our world.
“Zara, Zara!” His familiar voice woke me up, and I was jolted out of my surreal dream world.
“I feel like I just had a dream, a strange dream,” I said, rubbing my eyes, trying to remember the pieces of the experience I had just had in the dream.
“Drink first! You’re sweating. I’m afraid you had a bad dream,” Orion said, concern etched clearly on his face. He handed me a glass of water, looking concerned.
