Zara's POV
Ismaya was waiting for me here even though I was still discussing my messy work. I also did not hesitate to give directions to Doctor Leo even though Ismaya was there. But as usual, Doctor Leo never felt insulted by me, who acted like this, even in front of other people.
"Okay, I've checked everything, please, Doctor Leo, you can work on it right away. I hope everything is finished and I can receive it tomorrow. I only give you one night to finish all this work. Don't waste time, we still have a lot of work ahead that we haven't done at all."
"Emm ready, okay Doctor Zara. I'll do it tonight too. Tomorrow I will submit the results of my continued work to you. I hope I can work overtime tonight with smooth conditions."
"Yes, I hope so too. Okay, then, I'll take my leave."
"Yes, please!"
"I'll also take my leave, Doctor Leo, I hope your work is finished quickly and well and with maximum results," Ismaya added.
For some reason, when Ismaya also spoke, I felt a sudden heat appear in my chest. Like a blazing and burning coil of fire. I immediately walked out of the room. Meanwhile, Ismaya followed me from behind in a hurry. Because she followed my steps which I deliberately accelerated.
"Zara?"
"Yes?" While still walking in a hurry.

"Okay."
I got into the car and closed the door. Likewise, Ismaya immediately got into the car too and sat beside me, who was about to drive.
Throughout the journey, Ismaya seemed reluctant to ask again or talk and open a conversation. I was still silent and focused on driving. It felt like I didn't care about her presence following me. I kept my gaze straight and didn't stop driving at all. Everything seemed cold and there was no sound other than the sound of the car's engine. Seen from the windshield Ismaya glanced at me repeatedly with the corner of her eye.
I didn't reprimand her at all and didn't want to open up space for more noise. A moment later we arrived in front of Ismaya's house. I immediately stopped and parked my car. Ismaya looked shocked because she seemed to be half-daydreaming. I woke her up by saying that the car we were riding in had arrived right in front of her house.
"We're here." Short.
"Huh?" She was surprised.
"This is your house!" A little curt.
Ismaya got out with an uncomfortable expression. After saying goodbye and thanking me. After a while of small talk, she offered me to stop by first. She got in and finally got out of the car as if with a guilty expression and there was something she didn't like about my usual response.
I immediately drove the car after starting the engine. Without further ado, I immediately left in front of Ismaya's house. Driving the car with a flat feeling. Until finally arriving in front of my house which was not too far from Ismaya's house. Arriving in front of the house, I immediately got out and got out of my car. Then I walked into the house as usual. I saw my father with Orion. But I walked as if I didn't see him here. As usual, my father stopped me from going straight into the room. But I refused and said that I didn't want to be disturbed right now.
"Hey Zara, where are you going?"
"Where else if not to my room?" While walking without stopping.
"Come here for a moment, Orion is here."
"Yes, I know, it's already night. Besides, I feel tired tonight because my work is piling up. I want to rest, please understand me just this once!" I stopped walking and turned to my father and Orion who were sitting.
"Yes, poor Zara, her face also shows that she looks tired. Indeed, her workload is quite heavy, I understand that. Just let her rest in her room first. Moreover, she has just recovered and come home from the hospital. Don't let her drop again and be hospitalized again."
"Okay, you can go!"
I walked back and just walked away without any guilt. Leaving the two of them who seemed to be busy talking again. I don't know what they were talking about, but clearly, I didn't care about the content of their conversation.
Arriving at my room, I closed the door and locked it from the inside. Then I immediately lay down without doing much of this and that. My cell phone bounced on the bed. My gaze stared up at the ceiling. My mind was so empty, and I didn't know where to go.
A moment later I started to remember the mistake that happened in our work. I felt like there was something strange that happened when I was hospitalized. Something I had to investigate further.
"Huh, just adding to the work." Exhaling then gossiping.
I immediately started to feel sleepy. Even though I hadn't had time to do any cleaning activities. My body still felt sticky because of the sweat that had been wetting my body. But my eyes felt dim and almost didn't have the strength to stay open. But suddenly I was surprised by strange sounds behind my bedroom window. I was immediately shocked and woke up approaching the window. I immediately opened the curtains directly without hesitation.
Sigh.
"Hmm, it turns out it's nothing. Maybe it's just my feeling because I'm tired." I whispered.
Suddenly I heard the sound of a car engine starting. It turned out that Orion had just come home. My father was standing next to his car waving at Orion. I saw that my father and Orion were getting closer.
I closed my curtains again and walked to the bathroom to clean myself first. Because my drowsiness immediately disappeared due to being disturbed by the strange sounds that I had heard earlier.
After finishing cleaning myself, I immediately sat down and was confused about what to do. On the other hand, the drowsiness was not there at all. My mind finally returned to the memory of a conspiracy that had not been revealed. It seemed like there was something I had to reveal the secret of. Making me finally daydream and fantasize everywhere.
Exploring every possibility that could happen and become the cause of the effects that have now surfaced. Especially after I had found oddities from the research results that had been presented. I'm starting to suspect that there's someone worth investigating in my team. Yes, I need to find out who's behind all this chaos.
