Leo's POV
Tonight is the awaited night. Where the alien group from the second batch will land on Earth. We who came in the first batch a few months ago will welcome their arrival here. To help us in our mission to take as many human ova as possible.
The UFO shot from above and was already visible.
Finally landed. I and everyone who had gathered here approached the UFO's position.
The door opened automatically. I immediately greeted them at the very front.
"Welcome to this earth," I said while opening my arms wide.
"Hahaha.. how are you feeling on earth? Accepting my welcome with a hug.
Patting my shoulder not too hard and repeatedly.
"Not bad; you can feel it later, Angkasa."
"Yes of course."
"Come!" My group and I led those who had just arrived to our usual gathering place. Entertaining them with the nutritional intake that we had provided. After that, we invited them to rest after a long journey across the Milky Way galaxy. Cots had been prepared to be used to rest for the rest of the night.
A moment later, I also rested and lay down. Suddenly I remembered someone whose condition I didn't know yet. Yes again and again about Zara. Suddenly, for the rest of the night, I missed her and remembered her smile that was so sweet and charming. I saw her face up there. On the ceiling of this room, her face was engraved. She waved at me and smiled again. Instantly made me automatically return her smile. But Letto and Angkasa surprised me.
"Look, Leo!" Angkasa whispered.
"Yeah, what's wrong?" Letto asked in surprise.
"Hey Leo, what's wrong with you?" Angkasa asked, surprising me. It made my heart almost jump out of my chest.
I immediately changed my expression, which was previously beaming and smiling, now it started to become flat and even a little anxious because I was worried about being caught and slipping up.
"Huh, no, I'm fine. What's wrong?"
"I've seen you smiling to yourself all this time. What's wrong?" Angkasa asked.
"That's right, I saw it too, you were smiling to yourself like a crazy person," Letto added.
"Emm, really? Maybe you saw it wrong."
"How could it be, I'm still awake and haven't slept yet. My eyes haven't closed at all."
I paused for a moment looking for a more logical reason that could be accepted by both of them.
"Emm, is it true that I was smiling to myself earlier?"
"Yes, that's right, how could we see wrongly, let alone lie and make things up."
“Em, I think I'm very happy with your arrival and thinking about the success we will achieve in the near future. Soon we will succeed in taking human ova. Hahahaha..." I laughed but it didn't feel free.
They even laughed as if I was right with what I said. Even though I was just looking for an excuse so as not to be suspected.
"Hahahaha... You're right." Letto said.
"Hahaha... It's certain that victory will be in our hands. Oh yes, thank you, Leo, you have been happy with our arrival here."
I smiled and did not answer anything. Because I felt bad for actually lying like this.
"Let's close our eyes for the rest of the night and tomorrow we will start our next action." I invited.
"Okay, let's."
I also pretended to close my eyes so that there would be no communication after this. Because I didn't want to talk about other things that would make me slip up or lie further.
With my eyes closed, I still couldn't sleep. My mind was still fixated on the figure of the beautiful Doctor. Yes, Zara, she resided in my mind and increasingly gnawed at the surface of my brain. Forcing me to keep thinking about her. I couldn't fight the desire to be able to meet her. I also started to open my ears wide to make sure Letto and Angkasa's voices were gone.
I mean I have to make sure that Letto and Angkasa are fast asleep. If she is indeed sleeping soundly then I will get out of here and make sure that Zara is okay at the hospital. I will not be calm if I can't see Zara tonight. Suddenly I feel worried about her condition. I want to see and witness her condition with my own eyes.
I peeked from behind my eyelids. Hoping that the situation here is safe enough for me to leave right now. After I no longer hear the voices of Letto and Angkasa and the others. I immediately peeked by occasionally opening my eyes a little. Sure enough, they were fast asleep. Now it's my turn to get out of here and meet Zara. Making sure that my feelings are not confused because of my curiosity about Zara's current condition. I hope I can still see her.
I immediately left here and walked stealthily so as not to be caught by the others, especially since they were sleeping so they didn't wake up from their sleep. Not long after I managed to get out of the room, I immediately walked half running without using the vehicle or motorbike that I usually use. I immediately rushed to the hospital where I usually work. The journey was so short and I had arrived at the hospital.
It was not so quiet because there were also many patients and officers and families of patients here. But I walked like a normal human being. Not showing any strangeness that was different from humans. So that those around me would not suspect that I was not human. I kept my true identity a secret. A moment later I arrived in front of Zara's inpatient room. I could confirm that I was right and not wrong.
This was Zara's inpatient room the last time I came here to meet her at that time. I tried to peek through the window. Even though outside, I didn't hear any sound in the room. It seemed empty. When I looked through the window carefully and secretly. I didn't see anyone in the room at all. That was a sign that there were two possibilities, either Zara could be sent home or Zara was moved to another room.
"Huh, could it be the ICU room?" I whispered with my eyes wide open.
I immediately panicked and ran to the receptionist. Maybe I would get information from her. I immediately rushed to the receptionist to ask where Zara was now. Without hesitation, I immediately walked and asked without further ado. Until I got a definite answer about her current whereabouts. Until my curiosity was answered. It turned out that Zara had gone home this morning. I feel relieved now. Finally, she has recovered and gotten better. I should have been anxious about being threatened by her recovery but this is the opposite.
