Chapter 14
Emma's POV.
I really don't understand Liam why he would do this. If he loves me, would he be happy to see the woman he loves having that kind of relationship with someone else? Doesn't he have a cleanliness problem?
But after the heartache, I thought about Isabella's face again. Now she looked completely immersed in a bubble of happiness, a realization that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had to find a way to ruin this for her.
This realization turned me on. I was so sick of her face.
"Understood, alpha. i obey your orders." I took the task as well behaved as I could.
When the sun came up again, I set off from the house I was staying in. Thanks to Isabella, I got a chance to stay out of the cell because of her trust, but I was still living too far from her room with the Green Creek Pack's alpha. All this way, I had to accept the scrutinizing eyes of those who passed by.
But I didn't care, I just confidently unbuttoned the few buttons on the top of my shirt lean. I was sure this one would work.
I knew Isabella would be busy today, so Elijah would be left alone to handle wolf pack business. Then I'm halfway there on this one.
"Knock, knock." I knocked on his door, while making my voice sound as friendly and humble as possible.
"How do you do? I'm Emma, Isabella's friend. I'd like to see if I can be of any help here."
"I know you, come on in. Just in time for you to help me put ......"
Halfway through his sentence, I pushed the door open.
In fact, I couldn't understand what his task was, and it wasn't even my job. My only task was to present myself as much as possible. So I leaned over his table and tilted my body slightly so he could see a little more.
I have to say, even at such a distance his eyebrows were still very handsome, but that's not something I'm going to care about.
"...... That's about all I have to say. Do you have anything else?" He didn't even look up.
"It's something I need to talk to you about, I'm a little, scared ......" I gritted my teeth and slowly extended my hand towards his back.
I carefully recalled the tricks I had learned in the wolves to attract men. I moved forward as softly as I could and tried to lean on him, but he ducked to the side just as I touched his skin.
Immediately after a whirlwind, I collapsed in the doorway and even knocked my head on the wall.
"Ouch ......" I covered my forehead in aggravation.
"I don't know what you've been through before, but it's not right to do that in my wolf pack. I hope you can respect yourself as well." His voice sounded clearly angry.
"No, I ......" Before I could finish, he banged the door shut again. This time he stopped opening the door no matter what I said.
What a bad luck, what's with this man?
I thought about Liam before. when I did this, he almost never denied me. He allowed me to make him feel pleasure.
I sighed, feeling only a little tricky.
But this is after all a task given to me by Liam, and I can't give up so easily. I thought about it and hurriedly got up from the floor and went back to the house.
When I saw Elijah later I tried to explain to him that these were some of the rules of our wolf pack and that I had been brainwashed since I was a child.
I hoped to gain his sympathy so that he would stop being wary of me.
But every time I saw Elijah, he quickly circled around as if he saw an evil spirit.
Isabella's POV.
"Everything Liam did was right, it's you invaders who say things that don't work, you don't try to fool me!"
"How did you get brainwashed? Didn't you gain the title of breeder? How can you still treat your wolves like this!"
I covered my head in pain. What the hell is wrong with these people? No matter how much I tried to persuade them they believed Liam was right.
Now I believe Oliver's words that "they are brainwashed". But even so, I still need to be responsible for them. This is my responsibility as the Luna here.
I persuaded them over and over again, making all the methods. But until now there is still no gain, this knowledge makes me feel very tired.
"More than that I think there's one more thing that needs your attention. That good friend of yours Emma is looking at Alpha as if she's looking at prey, and I think she's afraid she's trying to seduce him." Maria quietly came close to me with a particularly strange looking expression.
"She did have some things in her past, but she's not a bad person herself. I think it's still a misunderstanding ......" I don't think Emma would do that.
"We'll find out if it's true when we go see it, won't we?" I grabbed Maria's shoulders and led her along on a run to Elijah's house. The best way to prove something is to let her see it for herself.
And I had just reached the door when I saw the frightening scene.
Emma is sitting on Elijah's desk trying to get her hand into her collar, while Elijah is sitting far away and is about to slam his fist down on her.
My brain buzzed.
How could she do this? Aren't we the best of sisters?
I almost lost my mind and grabbed Elijah. his teeth knocked against my lips and my mouth tasted like the rust of fresh blood. But even so, I wouldn't let him go, and I even raised my hand and pulled him tighter.
I couldn't think about anything else, I just thought about making sure Emma understood that Elijah belonged to me and never try to challenge my boundaries.
"Whoa, Isabella you, are you okay with your injuries? I think I see blood." Emma slowly buttoned up her dress, again as if she didn't even notice my difference, staring at us both with wide eyes.
I'm 100% sure now that she did it on purpose. She just wants to make my life unpleasant.
I felt a little oxygen deprived, which finally pushed Elijah away, but I was still leaning on his arms. I turned my head to look at Emma and raised my tone in exasperation.
"It's best if you don't show up in front of me again. After so many years of friendship between the two of us, I really do see you as my best friend, but look what you've done?"
"I'm sorry I, I really didn't mean to, I thought men and women were supposed to ......" she looked incredibly sincere.
"You forget that I grew up with you, and I know what you've learned and what you can do. So you need to stop defending yourself." I sighed.
I've been completely disappointed in her.
"Do you need me to take this White Birch Pack lady away?" Maria opened her mouth at this point.
I am incredibly grateful that she is still with me now, but at the same time I feel sorry for what she just saw.
It was just as well that her expression didn't seem to be any different. She lifted Emma's collar and yanked Emma right out.
"Click."
Only when Maria closed the door completely did I collapse in my chair.
Oh my God, what did I just go through? I lost my once best friend ......
I covered my face in pain and almost started whimpering.
"Can I take this to mean you're jealous of me?" Elijah's expression looked a little impish.
But I knew this was the best way for him to walk me away from these things.
I adjusted my breathing to get up and flung him down on the bed directly behind him.
"You are mine, and no one can take you away from me."
"Then I guess you'll have to keep me on a tight leash." His hands were on my waist.
We were both so engrossed in the pleasure that we completely forgot about all the unpleasantness we had just experienced. He was working very hard, and I was happy to barely move a little to make us both feel better.
The night passed and we went back to our respective posts. Only when it was time to eat, I saw the person who made me sad yesterday again.
"I'm really sorry that those things weren't part of my intentions or as you saw them, and if I made you feel uncomfortable ......"
Emma ran up to me once again. I didn't even bother to pick up on her.
But just then, she swung at me with a punch that went straight for the bridge of my nose. I didn't have time to react otherwise and kicked her straight to the ground.
"Take her to the cell." I said coldly to the guards around me. "Just put her in with the rest of the White Birch Pack."
The matter was over, but Liam still didn't show up.
It was hard for me to have peace of mind when I knew he would not show up for a day. This led me directly into an endless nightmare.
In the midst of those nightmares I did not leave the White Birch Pack, but was once again caught back. But this time there was not just one warrior entering my house like before, but many.
Looking at their expressions as if they were looking at their prey, I couldn't control my screams. The next thing I know, I'm waking up in a warm embrace.
Elijah's voice would always calm me. He gently comforted me as if I were the softest of children.
I feel very guilty for disturbing him like this. But what can I do?
After another nightmare like this, I finally made up my mind. it was obvious that Liam's way of hiding could not be a sudden burst of inspiration. Those older members must know how it works.
If they would only ask, I could catch Liam, and then I could live in peace.
So early the next morning, I went to see the White Birch Pack people who were the most difficult to get along with here.
Before I got to the location, I heard someone shaking the railing violently. Already to the old voice was chanting something incessantly inside. Continued insulting statements, I really do not know, how did I provoke him?
But there was a sentence after that I heard.
"You're a traitor just like your bitch mother, and you deserve to be tortured to death!"
