Chapter 11

Samira
The bicorn process rips us apart… Many die from the pain alone, but I was already down here... I assumed death isn’t possible at the moment.
…. He rolled his eyes….
“You aren’t a bicorn because of something as simple as *that*.” He scoffed. “You think you’re the *only* one who hasn’t seen my face and thought I was cute, hot, or whatever else mortals say?” He asked this with a small smile….
“Don’t forget DILF master; that one’s thrown around too.” Chuckled the blonde demon.
“Oh shut it. Did Humblon *at least* give you wings as I requested?” the Horned One asked. It was then that his small smile turned into a frown. “I don’t sense them… among other issues.”
I genuinely amused him. He looked like a dad trying not to laugh at his kids doing silly things when I wiggled again…. It was worth a shot.
“No sir.” I said quietly. Despite such a neutral, amused demeanor, I knew better… He is the Adversary… Things you want… Things you *think* you want look GOOD coming from him. He could just as easily flay me right now with that same smile…
“You broke no laws.” He sighed shaking his head. “By design you were linked to my grandson before you were born… The sin would be on my wife and I then, wouldn’t it?” He said slowly letting me float there, and spun me around. “You, unlike the rest of your pestering line, were traded. 40,000 gallons of pit processed raw energy for the youngest daughter of Uriel… I think I got a good deal if not for your deactivated power.” He grumbled.
His demons bowed at his temper. He was angry *for* me… not at me…
“And the fact that he butchered making you on purpose… Just Look at this.” He spun me around again to show off my back. “He didn’t even add the Ability for you to ascend through feats of strength and good deeds….”
With magic my arms and legs were spread as far as they would go, and he extended his claws.
“…Lord Humblon… He *is* Divine Mercy. He wouldn’t do that…..” I said still unsure about the Horned One, but he had no reason to lie about this… I was bought and sold to the Night Court… I was never meant to be one of them…. That kind of hurt.
“He purposefully cursed your Glittering One status.” Said the Horned One, clearly angered by his own statement… I was shocked….
“But… The Light Court would never-” I was cut off by his laugh. It boomed in his throne room, and all his demons bowed again. Any who stood anyway….
“You could never grow to be as your twin with a mortal affliction…. He made your human visage mortal, but your unicorn form is an immortal pony with a horn made of quartz on it…Magic about as good as a low born elf…. *technically* a unicorn… But not.”
“He gave you the unicorn from Temu master.” Laughed the blonde demon…
“A Wish Unicorn from Earth!” Laughed the skull demon.
They were on hands and knees, yet the skull faced demon and the blonde one dared to giggle in the presence of someone so disgruntled. His growl echoed through the room.
“I would think it funny if not for the amount of *work* this will take.” He said with a look that shook me… It was so fierce he appeared almost as a different person.
I…. I was so shocked of this news that I had no words… He was no liar… The way the Horned One temps is by the truth, and manipulating the perception of bad opinions into being your best interests, but he doesn’t outright lie to people… And people make their own decisions.
He isn’t out here making anyone do anything… Ultimately, those sins are done by choice…
By choice, my maker cursed me to spite the deal he agreed to…. That was not noble, nor pure… I was almost married off as a shame of my people because of purposeful sabotage.
“Did you summon me to fix this?” I asked.
“I’m not going to hurt you, but I do *need* to fix this. You will not be able to bare children as you are…Your soul is incompatible with even light creatures. He will answer for this. You are so low quality I have to Fucking remake you.” He growled. He sounded so frustrated too…
“Ready yourself; I have a message, as well as an errand for you.” He said sternly, looking at the blonde demon.
“I will relay the message.” Said the angelic demon.
“Go. Tell Humblon he will give back the processed energy he wanted... Bring all of it back. Every Fucking Drop. *Technically* a unicorn is *NOT* a unicorn; it’s a Magic Horse. Tell him that there should be no human blood in her veins if both parents were purebloods. Oh, and fetch me two…. Three cups of powdered purity.” He examined me like a lab rat… “And one…. Two, fuck it, four gallons of liquid light while you’re there.”
“Wow… alright master. Do you want powdered light while I’m up there too?” He asked.
“No Apythmenos, I can distil my own from the extra. Noirnamu, make me what was that drink?”
“A cappuccino sir.” Said the skull faced demon. He changed into a bald, dark skinned man with a bone white face, since the lips and skin were probably an illusion… his eyes were also still voids with blue dots.
“Do that but no cream or sugar. I think I’ll have a sip while I work.”
“Does that mean I’m going to be-” He cut me off.
“If I wanted you a bicorn, you would have been born one, small child.” He said impatiently. “The bastard cheated me *again*. Worry not… I will not sully you. My grandson will need you as you are, well… as you Should have been. I task you with this. Guide my only paladin.”
He grabbed my throat, and reached inside my chest.
I gasped awake, and servants were cleaning the room. The curtains were drawn… and they looked fearful of me… I didn’t feel his actions, but I did… feel…. Better
I felt like if I shifted, I’d still be small, but I’d have actual power… I felt like a Glittering One… I couldn’t hear anyone’s secrets or anything, but my hair was a little whiter. It sparkled…
“Your highness, breakfast is prepared for you.” Bowed Mr. Julian. Of all of them, it seemed he was the only one slightly relaxed in his posture.
“Where’s my mate?” I asked, and it was then that he stiffened…. “What happened while I was asleep?”
“His majesty is in his office... what’s left of it. His brother has committed a great crime, and fled.” Said Mr. Julian.
I got up, not caring that I was completely underdressed. This was more important anyway… He was soaked. Everything in his office was either burned to a crisp, or soaked through. His eyes were that strange coffee brown whites and red irises…. There was an intensity to his glare out the window that made me almost hesitant to get near, but I knew I’d be the only one able to calm him down…
“…. Lord Tyson.” I said gently, taking his hand. He said nothing. He only growled in response. When I was about to let go, he held it firm.
