Chapter 59

Tyson

“It was.” I watched the Omegas debate on who would come collect the plates. It seemed I couldn’t hide my disgruntled mood from them; their instincts are too sensitive.
“I didn’t know Clemintine knew about stir fried squash and peppers.” Said Samira, shyly putting a spoonful of ice cream to my lips. It was strawberry cheesecake with chocolate chips, a castle house blend.
It tasted like sweet milk, fruit, and chocolate… not flavors I desire, nor crave. It was good though. They make the desserts here by hand, so it was fresh, but not a mortal…. It wasn’t blood, bone, nor soul… It may as well could have been water.
“She’s cooked for all the kings; I’d be surprised if she didn’t.” I said with a light smile for her sake. I hid how I felt, even the bond’s connection. It would only make her worry, or make her feel guilty.
I hated that I was a creature of the Night Court… I hated that all my bloodline brings is death, destruction, and lamentation… That as an Old One, not a werewolf, that I just can’t keep pretending that I’m one of them….
“I could pop!” She beamed.
“What a shame.” I pouted. “Seems I can’t show you my other favorite spot.”
“I want to see!” Samira shook my arm, while I looked in her dramatically pitiful eyes. She knew what she was doing, being so damn cute I couldn’t see them upset.
“Then come with me.” I chuckled.
Her sweetness calmed the inner fire of my true nature… For her, it was easy to do more than just try…
For her, I managed to come up with this plan out my ass, and maybe it might work…
I got up and held her hand. I also did that for the servant’s sakes. They didn’t *know* what happened when I reaped that plant, but everyone could still see the Horned One’s mark in the marble floor. It can’t be filled, as the repairs disappear.
Grandfather wishes his presence here, so I doubt even pulling up the stone and replacing it will work.
“Where are we going?!” she asked excitedly.
“Our room first.” I said as she ran ahead. “Put on some comfy pajamas.” I yelled.
“Ok!” She ran full speed, while I walked up the stairs.
/He’s headed to his chambers./ Linked Julian to Clemintine.
/Good. I’ll see to the staff on the ground floor, you manage the maids./ Linked Clemintine.
Apparently my mood was treated like an event, but I tried to ignore this. It began to bother me that even my most trusted Omegas not only feared me, but didn’t trust me…
When I got to our room, she wore a cute navy blue set with whales on it. I just put on black boxers. This was meant to be relaxing; I needed my mind off all this. The nagging urge to go out and hunt gnawed my very being.
“Hey, the tattoo on your belly button is flashing.” Pointed Samira.
It was. It pulsed red a few times before going back to black… I had no idea what that means.
I’ll check it out when she goes to bed.
“It’s nothing.” I lied. “I want to spend time with you before you go to bed.”
I gently picked her up and carried her down the stairs, and to the right.
“Ok that was something.” She finally mustered up the fur to combat me about it.
“I don’t know what it means, but nothing is happening, so I assume it’s just my powers being weird.” I said to reassure her, while I actually had none myself.
I took her to the home theater I commissioned. It was finally ready. It had seating for 45 couples, and a large, full sized screen as big as the 45ft ceiling. I put in 26 long, black and gold couches for comfort as well. Two couches to a row, along with buttons on the side to request food and drinks. They were able to honestly fit 4 or 5 Samiras, and maybe only 2 of me.
“How long as *this* been here?!” She ran down the ramp, and back up. Each couch was its own row, being about 8 cushions long.
I put her down on the center couch, the best position, and she bounced on it before I got comfortable.
“About 3 days.” I said having her get up, so I could lay flat on my back. “Come get comfortable.” I patted my stomach, and watching her little pointed ears blush with her was cute.
“Um. If you want.” She said getting on top of me. She was shy about it, worried someone would see us be so close, and intimate. Frankly I could give two shits; my mate’s smile was what I wanted.
All the issues I have can wait… All of it. Samira’s never even gone to the movies…. That isn’t uncommon with fae, as they are in human towns, but that her family’s focus was on being ‘proper royalty’ stole some of her childhood…
I could hear her. Something so simple amazed her. I understood why she was given to me…. Without her I would probably be in the woods right now. I gently pinned some of her bangs behind her ear.
“So, are you comfortable?” I asked.
“Very.” She mumbled.
I let her lay on top of me, and she straddled my hips without really realizing. Her hands rested on my abs, and I reached over the side of the couch.
I was too hungry to be horny, and I could hear her; she was too full. Damn.
To be honest however, it’s probably for the best since I’m *not* stable.
I had pockets sewn into the couches to fit blankets, and I let her lay on top of me, while I held her. This was nice… It calmed the intense hunger…. The insatiable thirst subsided.
“This is going to be so Fun! I want to watch something scary!” She bounced.
“Really? No My Tiniest horsey?” I chuckled. An Omega came running with the remote, but before he left I stopped him.
“Is the Arrowzon Twig installed?” I asked. They used to be called ‘Arrowzon Sticks but the name was changed for trademark reasons. I believe their name was too close to something else. I didn’t know what though.
“Yes sire, that, as well as the private selection of movie reels are available.” He said with a bow.
“Good. Classic or new?” I asked.
“I haven’t seen many horror movies…. So anything is fine.” She admitted….
Gods this girl was sheltered and locked in a tower for real… Lord Below.
“New it is.” I said shaking my head. “Did my copy of Extra Terrestrials get here yet?” I asked because this was the newest one. It was kind of hard to get too. His nod made me grunt in wolfspeach to go fetch it.
“It was unwrapped yesterday.” He bowed, before leaving with my order.
She clung to me when the lights dimmed. I put the remote on the floor, and held her closer. I smelled her hair. I wasn’t really paying attention to my favorite franchise… Something about being deep in space and finding some horrid creature with acid blood always entertained me.
Samira entertained me now though. She clung to me like a baby koala, while I ordered chips, a neutral snack we could both enjoy. Plus, I forgot my mouthwash, so no beef jerky.
“AH! EWW!! IT’S ALL SLIMEY!” She screamed, jumping up, which made me sit up. I wanted to make sure she didn’t jump off me, but she didn’t thankfully. She buried her face in my chest until the main heroine killed it. “Why was it so LONG?!
The monster at the end was stupid, but seeing her scream about it made me laugh. I made sure to put on a nicer movie, The Man Who Says Yes to Everything, a wholesome movie with Jam Carrie.
She fell asleep to that one, and I carried her to our room, so I could hunt…
I will take no joy from this.
