Chapter 97

Happy Mother’s Day! That’s when this was made. Sorry for being gone so long, but I had a really rough go of it. If you’re curious, I’ll just tell you, but I did need some time.
Tyson
I resided in my chambers, sitting on my bed below for 6 black sun-filled months to think of my wish. It gave me time….
Lots of time.
With the magical mirror provided, I could watch whatever I wanted from the moment of my death, to the current time on Urth. Right now, it was 11pm.
I took a gander at the current time before rewinding, and I saw Uriel with Samira. He held her like a child, humming something sweet.
“It is quite alright little one.” He said petting her hair, and they sat on the bathroom floor.
“What if my baby can’t handle my holy energy?” She asked. “Willow and Kaizen are compatible, but me and Tyson might not be.”
“Then while he’s Below, I’m sure he’s figuring out something.” Said Uriel. “I can’t imagine the Horned One killing his own kin, since there are so *few*….”
He was right… but that statement… Time was tampered with.
She did not know about this… nor Kaizen… nor his mate.
She only knows she’s pregnant, not that she was about to get sick.
But why was time distorted for this…? It wouldn’t be for me, I’m just a demigod. Unless my child is somehow critical to time itself, I doubt it would be warped for us.
Kaizen shouldn’t be with the Moon Goddess right now… Because at 8pm he zipped through his window as lightning to hold Willow.
My only theory is that since time flows differently in every afterlife, Kaizen started his trial, and then he was placed in this ripple in time, not whenever he was supposed to….
*a Ripple in time?*
….I let that thought repeat…. There is one rule that is absolute.
Time Does Not Go Backwards…
Yet here I am watching a literal crime…. One that I’m part of, but I am not high enough to do anything about it.
I wonder if this is why I can’t think of a way to word this wish without it backfiring. Wishes can be fickle as the gods who grant them…. If I miss some detail, he could be born, but born suffering…
This is Hell… the worst could happen.
On Urth, Willow and my mate only know that they are pregnant… not that they have complications that are *already* fixed.
Kaizen doesn’t know they’re having twins, and one will be mortal yet.
The mirror cracked, jumping to 11:59pm…. Samira’s scared, crying… sad… but it’s for *me* not our child. It wouldn’t show detail though, damn thing. It cracked again.
I don’t know how this ripple came to be… but I feel like if I thought this anywhere else, on anywhere other than Hell, that this fact would likely make trouble. Time is not to be trifled with, yet, the Pit MUST run… and grandfather CANNOT live without grandmother…. maybe the Horned One did this?
That doesn’t seem right… Why send us to aid him if he was going to mess with the timeline? Like at that point, he could’ve just changed it.
So my next guess would be Xaxas. *He warps reality with his magic.*
He doesn’t outright break rules, but he Can bend them... Now that I think of it… he *begged* for grandmother’s forgiveness too. He might have wanted it so bad that he did it on accident….
That sounds about right.
If I’m right, I cannot thank him, nor bring this up. He is Three… He will have to answer to Light and Night should Arviel be petty. It won’t be the Horned One, since this greatly benefits his fuck up with grandmother AND his herald.
I looked at the cracking mirror. It was going a little haywire, showing the past. It was the moment Eternya landed and almost ruined Kaizen’s entire pack. Jack got hospitalized trying to fight the Bird King, and my mate took him to the hospital.
Jack took care of her until she was summoned, then she freaked out. Uriel and my mother are with her. She had to bop between Willow and Samira, while father and Aureus comforted Grace, who was happy.  Then there was a strange skip, at least 2 days worth… I saw Willow at the doctor with Kaizen, and her being upset… The next time skip was Kaizen coming Below to ask for a wish…I saw him soothe grandmother… I saw him stand before Hell’s throne, and he gave his wish.
I heard it.
That’s it.
I stood.
“I’m ready.” I said loudly.
I blinked and I was teleported somewhere I’d never seen before.
“Now, my little grandson, give me your wish.” Rumbled grandfather, wearing armor…being the tallest I’d ever seen. He did not sound the same… He sounded like the Void… the Hum of space… That makes no sense to describe it that way, but his voice was cold as it was dangerous.
It was beyond my imagination.
The roar of cheering demons was deafening. They surrounded the Altar, but only his generals lined the edges, and Apythmenos was in the air, directing traffic.
I don’t know where this place was, but there were millions of demons surrounding this enormous, flat altar. His throne sat atop a pedestal and was big enough for him to sit upon it, yet he stood in detailed dragon scale armor made of Tarteron steel, black as night…. Such fine work could only be made by him, and pierced by Arviel…
I kneeled in the center of grandfather’s great altar… apparently, they all have one. In his realm, great bats, vampyr flew in the sky in formation with dragons bigger than skyscrapers. They are so old and so large, that I’m sure they’d crush a village with just a paw….
Amazing.
“You are right on the time warp, but it was not I.” Said the Horned One. “A child yearning for his mother’s forgiveness… it is a powerful thing. A Father sacrificing nearly his life, barely escaping the jaws of the First Wolf to aid in making peace earns a wish, and favor with me.”
I was kneeled, going only to his ankles initially… The hum of his heartbeat pulsed the whole realm, I could feel it under my feet.
“Speak.” He commanded. It almost made me shift.
“I….I wish for my son and wife’s protection. That she birth a happy, healthy child… One who smiles… one who … one who will make Hell proud with their balanced power. That my wife’s body is compatible to allow for her protection, that we may have more blessings if she wants.” I said looking up at him.
“And He Who Burns himself, what of *his* fate?” He asked.
“I willingly accept my fate; the titles you bestow will be enough to stop a man who only wants me for my abilities sire…. May my soul kindle away until I am nothing if it means they are safe…. I only wish that this does not affect my son so.”
“I shall allow the addendum to your wish. He may not be happy while eternally aflame.” He said softly. His tone was different… as if he wanted to kneel down and pet my head.
With a wave of his hand, I saw the cosmos…. Then our solar system….
I saw my homeworld…. And he zoomed in to her crying alone, refusing anyone to console her. I looked at her while she was in the bathroom, sitting on the floor on her phone alone. It was 11:58.
“Tyson will be here soon. Why not let us soothe your worries.” Said Uriel.
“NO! Go Away!” Samira shouted. “To the Light Court, I am unclean.”
“I would Never hurt you, nor your child.” Said Uriel. “You have my blood word on that, position or not. Gods damn it Jack.”
“All I said was that she was under the protection of my master.” Jack hissed.
“Yeah, and she’s so scared she smells like a normal horse in there. Let me in dear.” He tried to sound less pissed, but it didn’t work.
“I’m not opening the door until my mate gets here.” She huffed.
“I’m not letting anyone in there unless *she wants.*” Said dad.
“Take your time in there Samira. I’m with him on this.” Said Xaxas likely helping.
“Thank you.” She sniffled.
“I will retrieve the others that you may go to her.” Grandfather said vanishing.
**I need to be revived.**
