Chapter 21
                    Tyson
“No.” I said firmly.
The fire between my horns was only about the size of a large candle’s flicker, but it was something no mortal could do in any way… most didn’t even have horns unless they were a unicorn, satyr, or minotaur….
There is a negative stigma around ram’s horns, as only demons have those… Mine were 3ft long and curved, not spiraled like the Realm King’s, but close enough…
“I’m not afraid.” She lied *Absolutely reeking* of fear. “At least not of you.”
“You are like everyone else.” I said calmly. I didn’t want to hurt her… I stood still. I cannot accidently harm her.
“Then what are you afraid of? My eyes? My temper?” I asked. My suit felt wet…. Shit.
“I’m afraid of how much you restrain yourself. You could have killed Nanatori… I didn’t… I didn’t know you were so much stronger than the Elf King.” She mumbled.
“I am stronger than your father, your mother, my grandfather….” I sighed. “I am strong enough that the original King of this castle does not plan on getting up anytime soon.”
I left out the fact that he has *no* intention of ever ruling again after I defeated him… I let him keep his Champion’s blessing by letting him live… I cannot die already; it would be redundant.
Also, I really like grandfather… As a child I looked up to him… But who wouldn’t? There were VERY few who disliked him. Even his enemies were cordial.
I know I am not popular…. I know the crooked plot… I just don’t know *what*.
“But even that’s not what I fear… Tyson… I worry you will break under your own doing.” She said honestly. “You hold yourself back in everything you do….”
“If I don’t, mortals will die.” I said simply. “Send in the next agenda after an hour recess.” I commanded.
Once they were permitted to get up, it was then that mother came to my side with Samira.
“Leave us.” I commanded. Everyone except those two left.
If I leave the throne room like this. I’m killing her brother.
It took every ounce of self-control to behave as a king would, not an angered wolf…
Harmony and Nixxia were already gone since their mates can teleport. Father left too… I suppose he was serious on his promise.
I also need to speak with my brother…. I don’t know why I tried to sense him… maybe it was habbit.
There was nothing we didn’t to together… We three… we were a broken set now.
He has not turned himself in yet… I did not want him to be found by some bounty hunter and killed before our people can get their justice….
----Samira----
“I wish you could link, but I’ll show you.” Said Isabelle.
“Don’t be angry.” I said trying to soothe my mate.
“Horned Wolves break; we do not bend. It took everything I had not to snap his neck…. Well… if he had the Champion’s blessing, I would have…” He grumbled.
“This is also what I wanted to warn you about…. But didn’t have the time... As he said, my children Break…. They do not Bend… Tyson plays nice and does well enough… but Nanatori pushed my son too far…” Said Isabelle.
“He came here to start trouble, not to extend a brotherly claw. That is what angers me, that he belittled you, your choice, and my wolves.” Tyson growled the last part, until I put my hand on his.
“My elder brothers are so old, that they do not tell me their age.” I said firmly. “They feel old sentiments about women, feeling like I should have married who they picked.”
She got Tyson to sit on the floor, and keep his eyes closed, though he was so angered that you could still see a little red light seep out from his hellish eyes… He smelled like a demon, a pureblooded one….and campfire smoke…
Isabelle got me to sit cross legged, and she got him to lay flat, and put his head on my lap. He laid on his stomach, and I kind of figured out what to do. I massaged the base of his horns, and he hummed.
“You shouldn’t be doing that.” He said as if he were unable to get up… “I can’t.” He said responding to my thought…. I hated that, but it was his nature…
“I’ll leave you two be.” Said Isabelle, leaving me with my demon. He chuckled.
“I suppose now I’ll flip over.” He said as his hell flame vanished.
He was erect.
“Tyson!” I giggled.
He did with me. “Told you.” He sang. I wasn’t ready for any more… but seeing it made me forget that… I was in heat after all…
I don’t think anyone younger than a hundred lived here… so I think I was right about my heat only affecting him.
“We’re the youngest in the castle, and you’re right. Everyone here either has a mate, or had one.” he said sitting up. He suddenly kissed me on the lips. It was rough… I could feel the heat off his skin as I held his shoulders. He was on fire with desire… “I-…..I think we should get something to eat while we have a chance.” He said kissing me on the forehead.
“I would love that.” I said happily.
He helped me stand, and he gently took my hand… I could feel the calluses from practicing his swordplay…
He led me to the kitchens… I expected him to go to a dining room and be served, but this is better….
A very small Omega approached us… It became quiet on seeing him. She was the only one brave enough to come and bow, and he nodded for the orang-ginger haired servant to rise.
“Is there any issue sir? Did you not like any meals?” She asked.
“No Clemintine.” He smiled gently at her. “I wanted to show my mate what you taught me.”
“…My lord… cinnamon rolls are just sweets…. I assume the Queen would like at least a salad to go with that.” She smiled. “Or… would you both like to sit in the Servant’s dining room… I doubt you wish to socialize with your Council at this moment.”
“As always, you’re spot on.” He said petting her head gently. “All I want is some beef. Any cut’s fine.”
We went to a spot just off to the side, through two-way metal double doors. Their kitchen area was beautiful, overlooking the garden area. All the tables and chairs were thick oak wood, and the windows were wide, lining the wall so every seat had a view of the statues and the maze’s entrance.
We sat in the corner of the café, and Tyson stretched. “The Omegas here have served since the beginning. I don’t know how old Clementine is, but she’s probably the sweetest. If you need anything, she’ll help you.” He said casually.
“It still surprises me that you are so kind sire.” I said as Clementine came out with a pot of coffee, an electric warmer for it, and another Omega had a tray of cinnamon rolls… a whole baker’s dozen.
“You will change your mind after lunch.” He said ominously… He linked someone as well. I don’t know who, but he looked incredibly serious…
