Chapter 88

Tyson
He did before I could get to him, and it was returned in his shoulder Just as I’d assumed.
Shit.
Things were moving so fast around me… I almost felt drunk…
Now my brother had to focus on keeping the Man King from dying. Herculian was up there helping too, but he Really shouldn’t. Even if Rodrick died, he’d come back, but Hurculian will get his soul sucked.
He’d already killed three of his half brothers… Those … Those were their swords!
He shot cold fire out his torch, and Kaizen dodged the spikes that jutted straight up to the sky from the freezing ground below. Anything the ‘fire’ touched became a spike of ice 100 feet in the air. I rolled onto some of the semisolid ice… It behaved more like soft gelatin… I can lay on it so long as I’m still…
I caught my breath.
I am overheated and disoriented… Events don’t make sense. Nothing does… The water gives no aid.
Some even exploded from the impact of the fire. Yet despite how dangerous it was, Kaizen shielded the mortal as best as he could.
I got teleported to my rental. It was only 50 yards away, and I figured if I can’t fucking fly, I can at least be of some help below.
Grace rode Aureus with her staff in hand. She hurled it at him, and it would have gotten Contradiction in the heart if not for it being on the wrong side. It landed and embedded itself in the ground… I thought she’d noticed.
“You actually got me this time!” He beamed, tossing two swords in the air before teleporting.
“FUCK YOU!” Screamed Grace in anger.
He used two hands to clap, while the other two blocked Kaizen and Herculian, since we were right on his tail. He switched hands when he caught his swords, missing Kaizen’s head with a swing from his bottom left one, but he got two fingers that held the torch… It was the only ranged thing he had, but he didn’t even flinch.
Kaizen tried going for the torch…
That’s it.
“Worrisome little shit.” Contradiction sneered. He began to glow, but Kaizen wouldn’t let go. It was the source of his magic if he could just get it out of his hands.
Shifted, he’d teleported and shook the torch hand with all his might, and I knew that face.
His eyes changed again!
\[Brother, he shoots lasers too!\]
I don’t know how I teleported so fucking fast but I did…
The blast of pure Contradiction cursed me as it blew a whole right through me.
I lost my liver. Vines sprouted from the whole as I fell…
I don’t think I’d ever felt the bite of a real curse before…
\[Tyson!\] Kaizen screamed, though Diana caught me.
The water around me became roses…. I was cold…
Is this what mortals feel… Is this what fear of dying feels like? I will never do this to another…. It makes me grateful that my pray does not suffer… that my sword is for the wicked.
There is no Horned Mark nor X on my soul…
Fuck.
“He’s alright. This is Nothing you Wretch!” Diana said, offering her support.
The Magic of the Fae Queen only made the vines coil tighter inside me. Roses sprouted from the softball sized whole.
“It’s like you’re not even trying!” He boasted. “Leviathan was delicious, Pollax tasted of strawberries, Amphian was a symphony of flavor… and you Bring me Herculian.” He grinned wide.
…And Ackilees is how he’s so strong, yet, he did not mention him.
Because the only thing he probably inherited from him was a weakness!
Those demigods… I did not know them, but my heart pours for the Light’s little children. Those men were the only thing between someone like me, and life unhindered. Gold soul or not, I still eat man flesh.
He teleported as light to get behind Herculian, and strangled him, while dodging dragon’s fire that became ice with one of his hands.
It was getting harder to breathe... the vines were like spiked snakes around my lungs….
Fuck dying hurts…
“… I said I wouldn’t Do this, but I need to be of better aid. I summon you, my steed, the First Unicorn Uriel!, the Glittering One!” Rodrick said while running and a beam of white light parted the clouds, and stopped the rain. In its place was a mighty unicorn, at least 60 hands high, one whose muscles could be seen through his glittering fur.
It actually glitters… like someone pelted him with sparkling crystals.
Now the ground was wet, but the solid white glittering Unicorn-Pegasus threw his head back and neighed. Rodrick rode the great King, who looked as if he recognized the face of Contradiction.
I drowned as Diana debated on who to save.
The muscular raisin was half eaten….Heh…. I bet Kaizen would make that joke… I’ll have to leave this up to him.
I will ask his forgiveness for this.
“Don’t break! Don’t Break Please!” She yelled, as Hurculian chuckled.
I forced him to be a fugitive.
I made him run… I nearly even killed him, yet he still fights at my side. It only right this whole is in *My* Liver. I coughed light… Fuck that Hurts.
I am incompatible.
“I’m not fatally injured, but keep the clouds parted… Come sundown, me and Rodrick will be halved in power.”
So, come sundown… The Demigod of Strength will die.
Contradiction will be weak, yet hit blows as his brother… And I cannot heal.
Diana cried on him. “no.” she whispered.
He coughed, his hand snatched my scruff. “They really are soft.” He said falling asleep.
 I did too.
“DIE!” screamed Jerold, jolting me awake. “When I get my h-moo-ands on you, I’m shoving my club up you’re a-grunt-ss and wav-mooing you m-around like a FUCKING Moo-FLAGsnort!”
I keep blacking out…
It was like everything was in fast forward. I knew I was missing things…
Jerold hit him like a baseball, and he flew through the air unable to slow down as he spun. He teleported near the Unicorn King.  It was definitely an accident, since I believe he could nullify the powers of disorder and chaos that oozed from Contradiction.
\[I will purify you in the name of the Light, you little shit!\] Snorted Uriel.
\[Why do you defend this place?! That Monster!\] he screamed.
I couldn’t see what was happening.
\[Because this place holds billions of INNOCENT mortals! I know my master … your path started wrong, but You’re Wrong Too!\] Uriel snorted.
With that I did agree… It is not the mortals’ fault that Arviel’s love is for them and his wife, and those children are wayward afterthought…
But… I’m glad he does ignore them.
*That is for their protection.*
Any favor sent to those sons… they *anger* Lia. Those that gain any affection or honor *suffer*… often at the cost of family, especially their mothers.
Lia is a Jealous wife…. But she cannot stop her husband.
He is the Sun…. and despite how much it hurts her, she has no choice in the matter. Grandfather told me that himself once … *That* is the difference between a god that high with a mate, and one without.
There are *many* tales similar to Hurculian… Born to be a slave, stolen from their mothers, forced to join the Light’s armies as children or young men, forever honored below… but they may only look above.
No matter their accomplishments.
