Chapter 11 The Game Gets Too Exciting
The long night finally came to an end. The morning light shone through the floor-to-ceiling glass window and gently fell on the girl's head as she lay quietly on the bed, her white figure resembling a lost angel in the mortal world.
Hassan reached out and caressed her shiny, soft black hair.
The scene from last night resurfaced in his mind. She wasn't as timid as other girls. When it mattered most, she remained calm, albeit a little clumsy, but still very lovely.
A faint smile appeared in Hassan's deep eyes.
Suddenly, Elena lifted her small face and rubbed her eyes. She smiled in surprise. "You're awake?"
She reached out without hesitation and touched his forehead, then cheered, "You don't have a fever anymore!"
"Why aren't you going to sleep?" Hassan raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, I was afraid something might happen to you at night, so I didn't dare to sleep. Besides, now that I'm your doctor I'm responsible for my patient," Elena said earnestly.
"Just for those reasons alone?" A proud Hassan suddenly smiled. As a man with such charm, he was pursued by women wherever he went. He couldn't believe this little girl had no feelings for him.
Elena blinked, touched her head, and said seriously, "There's one more reason!"
"Then spit it out."
"Hehehe..." Elena chuckled mischievously. "You know!"
Hassan furrowed his brows and pretended to be clueless, "I don't know, just say it!"
"Well, it's because if I treat you better, you might have a change of heart and send me back home," Elena said, looking serious.
Elena looked at her hands, looking very serious.
Hassan's handsome face instantly darkened. Elena looked at him, a little frustrated. This man's temperament was like the weather in May, changing constantly. He was truly difficult to serve.
If someone chose to be his girlfriend, they would be unlucky for their entire life.
"Dream on!" Hassan said coldly.
Elena's smile immediately faded. She said dissappointedly, "Oh, then I can..."
"Master, Dr. White is here!" Nabil led a doctor into the room.
"I'm going to bed now," Elena said with a sense of carefree relief.
Hassan, on the other hand, had a gloomy expression. This girl really didn't care about him at all.
Elena had only slept for a short while before Nabil appeared by her side.
"Miss Walker, the master is calling for you."
Still groggy from sleep, Elena asked, "Hasn't the doctor come back? Why does he need me?"
Nabil shrugged. "I don't know, but the master asked for you."
"Alright. Bless my poor, unfortunate soul."
Elena yawned and entered the operating room, looking inside. There was no one on the hospital bed.
Already awake so soon?
Elena stepped back and looked around.
"Oh, right, Miss Walker. The master is on the balcony."
Elena turned around and left, saying, "Nabil, could you please bring me something to eat? I'm very hungry."
Nabil offered her one of his rare smiles. "Of course, Miss Walker."
Finally, Elena realized that Nabil's attitude towards her had changed since she cured Hassan.
On the balcony above the terrace, there were large patches of vines. Hassan's tall and slender figure stood up straight behind a telescope.
He wore a jet black suit, accentuating his majestic figure. Even with his injuries not yet healed, he stood as straight as a telephone pole.
Thinking of the wounds on his body from last night, Elena felt a strange tug on her heart strings.
Suddenly, she became curious about this man. What kind of thrilling past does he have?
A strong and domineering man like him, he must have a beloved woman. If he does, what kind of woman does he like?
Elena suddenly remembered that last night, he murmured a name in his sleep—Laila!
That must be a woman's name. Is she his lover or sister?
Slowly, Elena walked behind him and attempted to look through the telescope.
"What are you looking at?" She asked.
Hassan turned his head, his face pale but still exuding an aura of dominance. There was a faint cold smile on his extremely handsome face.
"Not that it's any of your business, but I'm looking at the stars."
"Why would you look at stars in broad daylight?" Elena muttered, reaching out to touch his forehead. "You're not running a fever again, are you?"
He held her outstretched hand and became slightly angry. "Don't lay your hand on a man unless you're ready to face the consequences. Haven't your mother taught you that?"
Elena wiped away her sweat. "Don't worry, I'm not interested in you in that way!"
Hassan's face grew even darker. "Do you think I would be interested in someone like you? No chest to suck on, no butt to squeeze, you're really ugly."
Elena tilted her head and looked at him for a while before letting out a soft hum. "You didn't bring me up here just to discuss these pointless topics, did you?"
"Stop with the nonsense. I brought you here to look at the stars."
Confused, Elena walked up to the telescope as Hassan calmly stood behind her, his strong arms wrapping around her shoulders. From a distance, their posture seemed intimate.
"There are no stars here," Elena looked around but couldn't see any.
"Here!" Hassan gently adjusted the telescope for her, his chest pressed against her back, and her sweet teenage scent filled his mind.
Damn it, his blood started boiling again. He had no choice but to step back slightly and ease the awkwardness.
After fiddling with it for a while, Elena finally saw two stars.
She didn't feel excited or thrilled at all. Annoyed, she pushed the telescope away, turned around, and bumped into a solid chest.
Only then did she realize that they were standing so close, almost touching.
When she lowered her head, she saw Hassan's pants bulging with an enormous tent.
Elena's heart raced as she looked up and met Hassan's handsome face, a faint smirk playing on his lips. Her own face instantly turned red.
"Oh no, I'm feeling hungry." Elena tried to find an excuse to escape.
Unfortunately, she was too slow, and Hassan's large hand tightly grabbed hold of her.
