Chapter 15 Slow Down, It Hurts
"Gossipmongers, if you keep gossiping, I'll cut off your tongues."
The women immediately scattered like birds and beasts.
"Sister."
Not long after Elena walked out, Annie caught up with her.
"What's wrong?"
"Sister, how did you seduce that handsome guy?" Annie asked with great interest.
"Annie, you better not even think about it. That guy..." Elena took a deep breath, "He's from the underworld, very dangerous. Forget about it."
"Sister, are you two dating?" Annie looked at Elena with a calculative gaze.
"Of course not. Haven't I made it clear to you? It was because of the card incident. He forced me to be his maid for a few days, and now everything is over. Let's just pretend it never happened."
"A few days as a maid?" Annie looked skeptical. "A few days as a maid and you get ten million dollars? Even if you sleep with him, he wouldn't give you ten million. Based on your looks, you would have to pay him."
"Don't talk nonsense. I'm getting angry. I'm warning you, stay away from him when you see him in the future."
"Hmph, I won't. Well, since it has nothing to do with you, then I'll take him." Annie raised her chin. "I don't need you to tell me his contact information."
Elena glared at Annie. "What nonsense! I won't tell you his contact information."
Annie raised her chin higher. "It doesn't matter. I have a way to find him."
"How?"
Annie smiled proudly. "Don't forget, my older brother Timothy is also involved. I don't believe I can't find him in this flowing society where everyone mixes."
Suddenly, Elena thought of what Nabil had said about the Robinson family. Could it be related to Hassan?
Oh well, it's over with him anyway, she won't dwell on it anymore.
"Annie, you're grown up now, handle your own affairs. Sister can't manage everything for you."
Elena threw those words and walked away. Actually, she didn't like the people from the Robinson family. If it weren't for her father, who, before he died, told her to take good care of her mother, she wouldn't want to enter the Robinson family's door.
Her father, too, always remembered the woman who betrayed him even until his death. A sour feeling surged in her heart instantly.
Elena looked up at the blue sky and took a deep breath. Regardless of anything, the trip, which felt like spending an eternity in hell with a demon, had ended, and she needed to relax.
Returning to school, she felt relaxed both mentally and physically.
"Elena, where have you been these past few days? There's a handsome guy who has been looking for you!" Evelyn, her best friend, blocked the dormitory door, showing a mix of concern and curiosity in her eyes.
Elena took out a packet of sour plums from her backpack and stuffed them into Evelyn's arms.
"What a joke, someone like me with a handsome guy…"
Elena suddenly stopped. Handsome guy? Could it be Hassan? An inexplicable panic rose in her heart.
"It's true, who said anything about deceiving you, you brat."
"Ahem, Elena..."
