Chapter 42 The Super Mansion Within the Great Mansion
Elena was awakened from her sleep by the sound of gunshots. She opened her eyes to find complete darkness. Only a faint light was coming from the study, so she put on her pajamas and walked towards the light.
After circling the study, she couldn't find the main light switch, so she pressed the button that was emitting the faint light.
A beeping sound rang out and the bookshelf opened, revealing a small elevator shaft. Elena was as excited as if she had discovered a new continent and hurriedly entered the elevator, pressing the down button.
Could there be a hidden treasure under this mansion?
Ding! The elevator door opened, revealing a small rectangular corridor with a tall figure standing there.
Looking closely, it was indeed Nabil. The lighting here was not very bright, with only the flashing light of an emergency lamp illuminating the area.
"Nabil, why aren't you sleeping in the middle of the night? What are you doing here?"
Nabil slowly raised his head, revealing a face covered in blood, and looked at Elena with a bewildered gaze.
"Ah! There's a ghost!"
Elena screamed in fright, turned around, and hurriedly ran into the elevator. She bumped her head on something strange, and as she looked up, it appeared to have a green face and ferocious fangs. In the dim light, it was like a visitor from hell.
"Ah!"
Elena was so scared that she fainted.
"Miss Walker, Miss Walker..."
After who knows how long, Elena opened her eyes, with Noura's face right in front of her.
"Ah! Are you a person or a ghost?"
Elena still had a lingering fear. As a medical student, she already had a brave disposition, but last night's scene was too bloody and terrifying.
"Miss Walker, were you having a nightmare?"
Elena turned her head and saw the brilliant sunlight that filled the windowsill. Delicate embroidered curtains gently swayed in the morning breeze. It was such a warm morning.
Barefoot, she jumped off the bed and stepped on the soft wool carpet. She bypassed the group of sofas and ran stubbornly toward the study behind the glass door.
The two glass doors were tightly closed without any gaps. Through the glass doors, she could see the elegant office desk and high-end furniture. Elena pushed it with her hand, but the glass door didn't budge.
Noura walked over with a smile.
"Miss Walker, this is the master's private study, controlled by a voice recognition lock. Only the master's command can open it."
"But, I clearly saw it open last night."
"Hehe, Miss Walker, the master brings a lot of business matters home to work on, involving a lot of trade secrets. So, this study is just like the company president's office, where no one is allowed to enter."
Noura explained reasonably, but Elena felt that something was off.
"So, is there a basement under this building?"
"A basement?" Noura smiled slightly. "Yes, there is indeed a basement. However, the basement is only a garage, and the entrance isn't here."
'A garage!'
"Then take me to see it." Elena was determined. She always felt that what she saw last night was not a dream.
But why did Noura's explanation seem unbelievable to her?
Noura led Elena out through another door of the villa. This should be the side door of the villa, where someone could see the distant green private swimming pool, and beyond that, the villa's backyard.
In the distance was a large mansion.
The field of flowers extended all the way to the beach, and she had to admit that this man really knew how to enjoy life. He had transformed his villa into a comfortable and luxurious place, fit for a palace.
Walking up a slope and passing through an electronic checkpoint, Elena arrived at the garage.
A beautiful and luxurious electronically controlled garage, resembling a car exhibition, appeared before Elena.
There were over a dozen different car models there, ranging from Ferrari, the blue enchantress Pagani, Lamborghini, to an extended Lincoln and a Rolls-Royce. All sorts of world-class limited edition sports cars could be seen there, plus four or five racing cars. Each car was accompanied by a luxurious display stand, making it feel like this is not just a parking lot, but a stage for each car's exhibition.
Under the lights, the streamlined cars' bodies and exquisite craftsmanship shone with luxury and opulence.
Elena was speechless. She knew that the AF Group was a global chain corporation, so they must be wealthy.
But she never expected that they would be this wealthy. Each car was worth tens of millions, and there are over a dozen of them. This was simply the epitome of a wealthy family.
"Why are there racing cars too?"
"Our master used to be a race car driver, hehe. The red Bugatti Veyron over there is the one he used to participate in a major race with and won the championship." Noura was proud when talking about the master's achievements. He was the most outstanding and perfect man she has ever known in her entire life.
Elena had complete faith in Noura's words. When they first met, his amazing driving skills left a deep impression on her.
"Oh... your master is really rich, like a king of wealth."
"Hehe, this is nothing. The master originally came from royalty."
After saying this, Noura seemed to realize that she said too much and immediately changed the topic.
"This is all there is in the underground garage, Miss Walker. Do you want to see anything else?"
"No need." Elena shook her head. She was not interested in these luxury cars. For Hassan, these cars are merely toys. And for her, Elena, they are also just toys because she doesn't care.
However, she was quite disappointed. It is so different from last night's experience. Could it be that last night was just a dream?
"By the way, does your master still participate in racing now?" Elena asks curiously. She couldn't imagine what Hassan would be like when racing.
"Mmm... no. Ever since the incident, he hasn't touched race cars anymore."
"Incident? What happened?"
In response to Elena's curious gaze, Noura merely smiled silently, refusing to give Elena any answers.
On the dining table, breakfast was still sumptuous.
However, it was supplemented with elements that replenish blood, such as red date paste and pork liver with greens soup, all beautifully prepared using elegant techniques.
The snow porcelain tableware was beautifully displayed and looked very appetizing.
While Elena was drinking jujube porridge, Hassan, with his tall figure, walked in from the front door.
This man is very strange, wherever he went, he exuded a strong aura that was difficult to look at directly.
He was dressed in a sleek black Armani suit that accentuated his arrogance.
"Good morning, Master!" Several maids bowed and greeted him respectfully, with sincere reverence as if he were their king.
However, Elena, still holding a silver spoon, sat on a beautiful chair and turned her face to look at Hassan.
Her beautiful eyes seemed a little confused.
Hassan stood above her and reached out to hold her chin.
With a flirtatious smile on his face, he said, "Darling, eat more so you'll have energy tonight."
"Energy? I've always been energetic," Elena's reaction was always a bit slow.
"Is that so? Then why do you always pass out from exhaustion?"
His gaze was scorching, as if he could strip her clothes off and ravish her mercilessly.
A rush of heat instantly surged up Elena's neck, rising to her cheeks and earlobes. Within seconds, her entire being turned as red as a cooked prawn, feeling embarrassingly flustered.
"You bastard! It's obviously because you have too much energy!"
Elena scratched her plate with a silver fork, producing an irritating sound. When faced with his lustful gaze, she always felt powerless, as if one more glance would lead to his violation.
"Remember, you're not allowed to curse at me anymore. Do you understand?"
"I... um..." Elena lowered her head to drink her porridge. 'Damn it, why is it that you can curse at me, but I can't curse at you?'
Her angry expression was caught by him. A mischievous smile played at the corner of his lips as he lifted her up and sealed her small cherry lips with his scorching kiss.
He stole all the jujube porridge from her mouth.
That damn little fairy, the sweet taste was truly enchanting.
The suffocating kiss almost choked Elena.
After a while, he reluctantly released her, her delicate lips now swollen from his sucking. She blinked her eyes submissively, tears glistening as her fluttering eyelashes appeared as beautiful as butterfly wings.
"By the way, Noura, did the medicine arrive?"
"I just received it, Master!"
"The results from Dr. Calvin's side are out, and your anemia is severe, so take the medicine according to Noura's instructions."
"No, I don't need medicine for anemia! I know it myself, I don't want to take it..." Elena choked with excitement, coughing incessantly, "Cough..."
She herself was a medical student, she knew how to deal with anemia.
Elena knew that nourishing the body with food was much better than with medicine.
Hassan's handsome face darkened again. "Fine, if you don't eat, then don't even think about going to class today."
After saying that, he turned to leave. Before he even took two steps, Elena obediently called out, "I'll eat, I'll eat, is that alright?"
Hassan didn't turn around, he just lifted his chin with satisfaction, a hint of a smile flashing in his handsome eyes.
Very good, he liked her obedience and compliance.
Women, after all, should not be spoiled too much.
After breakfast, Noura picked up a pile of bottles and jars. Elena looked over and was instantly dumbfounded. All the writings on them were unfamiliar, it wasn't Chinese, nor English, and definitely not French.
But the packaging boxes were very beautiful.
"What, what is this? Where is it produced? Is it safe to use? You can't just take medicine randomly," Elena looked at Noura with fear.
Noura smiled. "Miss Walker, rest assured, these are Arabic writings. These medicines are exclusively for the royal family, all natural. Look at these deep-sea fish gel capsules, they provide vitamins, and also this natural high-protein..."
Noura was very familiar with these medicines and enthusiastically introduced each one to Elena.
Although she couldn't understand the names, when she opened the pills, Elena could recognize about seventy to eighty percent of them. After looking for a while, she realized that this pile of "medicines" wasn't medicine at all, but rather high-end supplements specifically for collagen and vitamins, as well as some blood supplements.
Well, since they weren't medicine, there was no harm in taking them. Elena could only follow Noura's instructions and take them.
"Your master is really amazing, having connections with the royal family?" Elena couldn't help but ask curiously after hearing Noura mention the royal family twice in the morning.
Noura blinked slightly and then smirked mysteriously. "In due time, Miss Walker will understand."
Elena shrugged, "Understand what? Is your master a prince or something?"
Noura didn't directly answer her, she just turned around and picked up the phone on the table.
"Miss Walker, your phone is ringing."
Elena took the phone and saw a text message. "Elena, today is my birthday. Meet me at the observatory at nine o'clock tonight, don't be late."
