Chapter 79 Her Pain
"Elena, don't disgust me, alright? How can he be your brother? When Annie was still alive, you had some indirect relationship with the Robinson family. But now that Annie is dead, you have no relationship with him whatsoever. Are you being this intimate with him because you want to sleep with him while I'm away? Are you acting so unfaithfully as a mistress?"
Elena was stunned. She never expected Hassan to utter such words that insulted her, especially in front of so many people, leaving her with no way to save face...
"Hassan, you jerk, I hate you!"
Elena suddenly broke free from Hassan's grip and desperately rushed outside. Tears flowed uncontrollably like a raging sea, blurring her vision.
She had thought she still had a bit of dignity, but now even this thin veil of modesty was torn apart by Hassan. She was shamelessly exposed as a lowly mistress. From now on, how would Timothy see her?
Hassan coldly glanced at Timothy, who raised his chin and gave him a cold stare. Neither of them spoke a word, but their eyes burned with anger.
"Timothy, if you dare to go near Elena even half a step, I'll make sure you crawl out of S City..."
Timothy put his hands in his pockets and calmly looked at Hassan. "S City is not your home, and Elena is not your wife. What gives you the right to be so arrogant?"
Hassan's eyes turned bloodshot. "If you don't believe me, you can try. Oh, I almost forgot to remind you, your mother's fate is a warning for you."
Timothy's face turned pale, and his eyes turned as lifeless as ashes as he looked at Hassan. "So it was you who did it!"
"Of course, I warned you long ago..."
"Don't touch my woman. It's her arrogance that brought this upon herself. You better keep an eye on her. If she ever dares to have any ideas about Elena again, I guarantee she will suffer...".
On the day of Annie's funeral, Daria went crazy and caused a scene. Timothy had her taken to the hospital for an examination, where it was determined she had suffered severe trauma and developed a mild mental illness. She is currently undergoing treatment. Timothy couldn't figure out the reason behind it, never expecting it was Hassan's doing.
Timothy stood in place, gripping his hands tightly, watching Hassan hastily leave with a large group of his men.
"Young master, this person is too arrogant. Should I go and teach him a lesson?" Rami said indignantly.
Timothy looked at him coldly and said, "This is his territory. If you want to court death, go give it a try."
Rami immediately hung his head, no longer daring to speak up.
Elena walked aimlessly on the busy streets, her heart sinking into a sea of pain. That dominant man had subjected her to endless humiliation.
She had no way to escape, only able to endure it, as if there was still a dark and endless road ahead, leading to a distant end.
In the bustling streets filled with crowds, she had no one to rely on. With her phone tightly held in her hand, she instinctively dialed a familiar phone number.
That number was ingrained in her memory, she could dial it flawlessly even with her eyes closed. It was perhaps the warmest, strongest, and most tender support in her heart.
"William, today's car race was so exciting! Just a pity that my favorite car didn't come in first!" A cheerful voice of a girl came through.
William? There couldn't be that many Williams in the world, right?
Elena suddenly turned around to see a perfectly matched couple walking side by side on the pedestrian bridge.
The man had a tall and handsome figure, with gentle and charming features. His white suit made him look like a prince straight out of a fairy tale. The woman wore a white long dress, her beautiful face radiating a happy and warm smile.
It was William and Chloe.
Yes, today was the motorcycle race, and William had come with Chloe. Elena's heart instantly plunged into an icy abyss, and her phone slipped out of her hand, falling and shattering into pieces, just like her heart.
She never realized how well William and Chloe matched. They were a pair that seemed heaven-made. If it wasn't for her, perhaps they would have been together long ago?
"Elena!"
William spotted Elena in the crowd and quickly ran down the stairs of the pedestrian bridge, leaving Chloe behind, and rushed towards Elena.
When he arrived, all he saw were broken pieces of a phone scattered on the ground. He didn't find Elena anywhere. He bent down, picked up the phone, and stood still in shock.
"Elena, where are you?"
William shouted into the crowd, attracting the attention of many people. He stood there, helpless and confused.
"Elena, where are you?"
William’s face showed a disappointed and worried expression. Elena must have seen him with Chloe and misunderstood him.
"Elena, come out. I know you're standing right here. Chloe and I just happened to run into each other. It's not what you think..." William waved his hands in frustration, shouting into the bustling crowd.
"Elena, come out! I know you're here! Can you hear me?" William pushed through the crowd, chasing after her for a few steps before standing still, shouting like a fool. His lovesick appearance attracted strange glances from the surrounding girls.
Elena hid in a corner, silently watching his absurd actions. Tears flowed from her eyes uncontrollably!
She couldn't go over there. She shouldn't go over there. She wasn't his someone. She couldn't be soft-hearted or get closer. She squatted until her legs went numb, cried until her eyes were swollen, but she still couldn't step forward.
From afar, she saw Chloe catching up to him from behind, walking to William's side, occasionally saying something while gripping onto him. They slowly disappeared into the crowd.
Leaning against the wall, Elena slowly stood up.
Her heart had long become numb from the pain. It was so heartbreaking to watch the man she liked walking with another woman.
"Do you think I can't find you hiding here?"
A deep voice came from behind, startling Elena as she turned around. Hassan, donning his racing suit, stood behind her. He had lost his helmet somewhere. Standing amidst the crowd, the suit accentuated his handsome figure, and his pitch-black eyes concealed deep anger.
Seeing her swollen eyes, his anger suddenly dissipated without a word. He immediately pulled her into his arms.
"Why are you running around? Do you want to tempt all the men in the city?"
On the busy street, people stopped and looked at this super handsome guy who picked up a girl and threw her into a Rolls-Royce.
The car door closed heavily, and the vehicle quickly merged into the traffic.
Throughout the journey, Elena folded her hands together, staring blankly out the window, without saying a word.
Hassan skillfully drove the car, his demeanor cold and silent. He sped through the streets, even running several red lights, startling traffic police officers.
Upon arriving at his house, Hassan slammed the car door shut and disregarded Elena, getting out first.
Elena sat alone for a long time before slowly getting out of the car.
Suddenly, all the lights in the garage turned on in an instant, illuminating Elena's view.
In the parking space ahead, there was a red motorcycle.
Elena thought she was seeing things. Step by step, she walked over, her heart beating faster and faster.
Under the lights, the red Shadow No. 1 stood silently in the parking space, like an elegant and mysterious fox with fiery fur, exuding an air of elegance and nobility.
Arrogant arrogance!
It really is! Elena found it difficult to breathe. She reached out her fingers and gently caressed the smooth body of the car. She never dreamed that this car would magically appear in front of her, accepting her touch.
This is fantastic! If she could ride it, personally drive it, the feeling would be amazing.
There's a strange element in the blood of car lovers. As long as they encounter a car they like, they go crazy just to own it...
Elena was excited at this moment. She closed her eyes and imagined herself driving it, just like sailing with the wind.
"Miss Walker, do you like this car?" Noura's voice rang out.
Elena didn't even turn her head. Her gaze seemed to be glued to the car. The overwhelming joy made her forget everything. "I love it! Before, it was just a dream to be able to touch it. But now, I want to ride it and feel the wind." Her voice trembled.
"This one is yours!" Noura handed over the car key. It was a golden key with a small red plush fox attached to the keychain, very cute.
Elena looked at Noura excitedly, "Really?"
"Yes..." Noura paused for a moment and whispered, "The owner went to great lengths to make sure Miss Walker could have this car. I have a video recording of the moment. Would you like to watch it?"
He went to great lengths? Knowing his ways, it's either coercion or throwing money around. What can't rich and influential people get? Well, she really wanted to see the on-site video because she happened to miss that scene when Timothy arrived.
"Sure, please show it to me!"
"Okay, this model comes with a built-in player!"
Noura skillfully inserted a USB drive into the player on the motorcycle, inserted the key, and all the car lights lit up brightly, illuminating far ahead.
Soon, the screen on the car flashed to life, and with a touch on the touchscreen, the video played clearly.
On the racetrack, it was the opening ceremony, and the number one racer was warming up. Suddenly, another racer came from the backstage, walked directly to the side of the number one car, and said something to the racer. The number one racer immediately stepped back, and the newcomer took over the original racer's position.
Elena's heart started beating faster. No wonder she felt something was off about that racer when she saw him before.
As she continued watching, her face turned pale.
