Chapter 58 Don't Be So Cruel

Although chastity was important, her sister was more important.

Seeing Hassan's handsome face turn cold, Elena immediately forced a smile. "Alright, the maid outfit it is! I'll wear it for you tonight!"

Hassan looked at her significantly. "Why are you being so obedient now?"

Yesterday, she had a big fight with him at the dinner table, but now she had immediately changed her attitude, actively seducing him. Early in the morning, she even accompanied him for morning exercises. She didn't hesitate to agree to such an outrageous request to wear a maid outfit.

What was this woman calculating?

"Obedient? Well, I have always been obedient. Are you tired from training? Let me give you a massage."

Elena smiled obsequiously.

Hassan didn't refuse and leisurely sat on the grass. "Sure, give me a massage!"

Elena immediately knelt behind him, firmly kneading with her small hands.

Hassan closed his eyes, enjoying it, with a subtle smile on his lips.

"Are you feeling bored? Shall I sing a song for you?" Elena softly asked.

"You can sing?" Hassan raised an eyebrow.

"Of course, don't underestimate me, I can do many things..." Elena confidently replied.

"Then, let's hear it!"

Rarely did this woman behave so meekly, and Hassan was quite satisfied.

Elena cleared her throat. Her voice was gentle and even her singing gave people a pleasant feeling.

The early morning, sunlight, dewdrops, sea waves, and the soft melody from this woman's voice,Hassan suddenly felt that having her by his side was also a delightful thing.

"Is it good?" Elena asked after she finished singing.

Hassan half-opened one eye lazily, "It's not bad! Your singing is better than your dancing."

Elena broke out in a cold sweat. Dancing again? She couldn't dance at all! Oh no, her innocence would be ruined by him.

"Do you like me giving you a massage?" Elena suddenly asked.

"Hmm!" Hassan couldn't deny it.

"And do you like listening to me sing?" Elena continued to inquire.

"Hmm!"

"Do you want to see me wearing a maid outfit?"

"Hmm!"

Elena took a deep breath and poured out everything that was on her mind. Halfway through her words, Hassan straightened up and pushed her small hand away.

His eyes gleamed and stared at her intensely.

"I've already said there's no room for negotiation in this matter," his words were cold, devoid of any emotions. It was chilling how quickly he turned from tender to heartless.

Elena was shocked, followed by feelings of disappointment and anger. She had sacrificed her dignity in an attempt to persuade him, but it didn't yield even the slightest concession from him.

Biting her lower lip, Elena glanced at him resentfully. "Forget it, if you won't help, then consider me wrong about you!"

With a heavy heart, Elena turned away.

She knew that Hassan was watching her from behind. If he cared even a little bit, he would shout, "Elena, for your sake, I'll help you..." But unfortunately, that was only Elena's illusion. He didn't call out to her until she reached the villa.

He truly was a heartless being!

Elena frustratedly thought, slumping onto the living room sofa and burying her head in her hands.

"Miss Walker, your phone is ringing!"

Noura handed Elena the phone.

"Hello, this is Elena!" Elena responded weakly.

"Elena, it's me, Evelyn. There's a dance at school tonight, are you coming?"

"I'm not going, I'm busy!"

"From your voice, it sounds like you're not doing well. Come on, everybody is starting their internships soon. We won't have another chance to hang out like this. Seven o'clock tonight, I'll prepare props for you. It's settled."

Evelyn hung up the phone, but Elena couldn't muster any interest.

Elena felt stuck. Hassan was refusing to cooperate, and she couldn't find a breakthrough.

In the afternoon, Elena arrived at school early. Her intention wasn't to attend the masquerade ball but to have a heart-to-heart talk with Evelyn.

As soon as she entered the dormitory, Evelyn enthusiastically handed a rabbit mask to Elena.

"Perfect timing! I was worried this mask wouldn't suit you. Try it on and see!"

Rabbit, again! Elena's headaches intensified whenever she saw a rabbit now. She snatched the rabbit mask from Evelyn and threw it onto the bed before sitting down with a frown.

"Evelyn, I don't like rabbits anymore. Don't bring up things that remind me of unpleasant memories."

Seeing Elena's unhappiness, Evelyn cautiously asked, "Are you about to have your period?"

Elena stared at Evelyn, almost fainting. She reached over and lightly tapped Evelyn's forehead, "You're the one about to have your period! I'm here worrying about my sister, Evelyn. What should I do?"

"About your sister being taken to England?"

"My mom couldn't handle the shock and calls me every day, crying..."

"Your mom is too biased, always thinking about your younger sister, but ignoring you..."

"No, it's not like that! My mom treats both my sisters equally; it's just that Annie is going through something right now, so she's showing more concern."

"What are you going to do then?"

"I want to go to England!" Elena said seriously.

"Go ahead, I support you! But the key question is, can you save your sister by going to England? Will the people from the Robinson family give you face?" Evelyn looked at Elena with a worried expression. Those high-class families have high standards, not something this ordinary person can enter.

"That's what I'm worried about!"

Suddenly, Evelyn cunningly smiled and quickly grabbed the small rabbit mask again.

"Don't think so much, let loose and have some fun. Maybe the problem will solve itself."

"I hate rabbits, don't make me wear a rabbit mask!"

"Alright, no rabbit mask. How about this small fox mask then?"

Evelyn giggled as she put the fox mask on Elena.

"But I don't know how to dance!" Elena hesitated.

"They're all classmates, just follow along. Let's go, time is running out!"

As they watched the night fall, Evelyn eagerly pulled Elena's hand and headed outside.

Music is truly a magical thing. It can make you temporarily forget your worries. When Elena stood in the school auditorium, wearing a mask, holding a drink, blending in with a group of classmates, and listening to the stirring music, her worries temporarily disappeared.

"Evelyn, who is that person wearing the eagle mask?"

"I think it's Eric..."

Evelyn had a bit of baby fat, her chubby face covered by the small rabbit mask, only revealing a pair of round eyes looking around.

Under the colorful stage lights, there were Mickey Mouse, Snow White, vampire knights, Hulk, and various other masked figures running around.

Elena was trying to recognize who was behind each mask, smiling.

"Evelyn..."

When she turned around, Evelyn was nowhere to be seen. Elena carefully looked around the dance floor and finally spotted Evelyn being pulled into a dance by someone wearing an eagle mask, laughing so much that her eyes almost disappeared.

This woman, clearly lacking loyalty, said she would stay with the audience together, but ended up going to dance first.

Elena shook her head and poured herself a drink, when a clear voice sounded behind her.

"Respected Lady Fox, would you honor us with a dance?"

Elena turned around, a figure dressed as a prince, wearing a silver wolf mask, standing in front of her.

He gallantly bowed to her and then stared at her warmly.

"Well, I-I'm not very good at dancing."

Elena clumsily declined, but a pair of big hands had already held her small hand, "It's okay, I can teach you."

That familiar voice made Elena feel slightly moved.

He held her hand and with a twirl, the two of them stood in the center of the dance floor, the stage lights flashing...

Under the mask, there was a pair of passionate and gentle eyes. She handed her hand to him and, accompanied by the music, he led her in a dance.

Elena was extremely nervous, constantly wanting to look at his feet, afraid of stepping on them. The more she thought about it, the more flustered she became, resulting in frequent mistakes and accidentally stepping on his feet.

Elena's face was burning, feeling the gaze of her classmates on her. Seeing her embarrassing state, they must be laughing uproariously.

Elena wished she could find a hole to hide in, but the music continued.

"Don't be afraid, look at me, you're doing great!"

He not only didn't get angry, but also whispered gently in her ear, as if with a magical power. She actually lifted her gaze and looked at him. In his eyes, she saw a dazzling constellation.

Under his guidance, she actually relaxed and gradually started to spin with the rhythm of the music.

As she spun, her beautiful long skirt fluttered layer by layer, accentuating her lovely waist. She seemed like a graceful butterfly, so agile and light, so ethereal and elegant.

His gaze became brighter and brighter...

In his gaze, Elena found confidence and strength.

As the song ended, thunderous applause suddenly erupted.

Classmates cheered one after another. Elena took a breath and looked at him, foolishly smiling. Perhaps she had been spinning for too long, even though she had stopped now, she still felt like he was spinning...

For the first time in twenty years, Elena danced brilliantly, feeling amazing about her own life.

His big hand still firmly held her small hand. At this moment, everything turned into background noise, and all she could see was him. He was just a beautiful little fox.

"You're amazing!" Elena praised, smiling brightly. She had an unreal feeling, as if the man in front of her had really walked out of a fairy tale, the prince who took Cinderella to a grand ball in a pumpkin carriage.

"No, you're excellent! You danced wonderfully!"

His voice echoed like a clear spring. After a while, he slowly took off his mask, revealing a clean and handsome face in her sight. Under the lights, he looked like a true royal prince, so noble and refined.

Dressed in a white prince's attire, against his slender figure and gentle eyes, he showed a deep affection for her.

Elena was stunned; it was William Spencer!
