Chapter 56 She's Impressive
Hassan toyed with the cold gleaming knife in his hand, gazing at Elena with an air of mystery. "Do you want to apologize to me?"
Elena lifted her gaze, licked her dry lips, and mustered a smile. "I'm sorry."
One corner of Hassan's lips curved, his arms crossed, looking very pleased with himself. "Louder! I can't hear you!"
"I'm sorry!" Elena raised her voice by ten decibels and shouted.
Hassan rubbed his ear. "Do you know where you went wrong?"
"I shouldn't have run away alone and made you worry!" Elena replied loudly.
"Is that all?" Hassan pretended to be angry and asked.
"I shouldn't have slapped you in front of everyone, embarrassing you..." Elena cautiously raised her gaze, examining his face. Actually, she had slapped him quite hard...
There was still a prominent swelling on Hassan's forehead, and his right cheek was flushed. That was her doing! Upon reflection, she might have gone a bit too far.
For a grown man to let himself be beaten up like this by her... Did it mean that he really liked her?
A flicker of emotion stirred in Elena's heart.
"What else?" His eyes deepened, gazing at her meaningfully.
Elena hesitated. "Aaron and I truly have nothing going on. I just bumped into him on the road, after I went to visit my mom."
The smile at the corner of Hassan's lips grew stronger. He suddenly brushed off the wood shavings in his hand, threw the carving knife onto the table, and stretched out his long arm;"Come here!"
Elena obediently walked over to him, tilting her face up and smiling brightly.
At that moment, a thought flashed through Elena's mind: a little white rabbit stupidly placing its head into the mouth of a big bad wolf, gently saying, "Please enjoy, dear Lord Wolf..."
Frowning discontentedly, Hassan asked, "What are you muttering about?"
Elena quickly covered her mouth, trying to divert his attention."Nothing. I was actually just wondering if you're hungry, let’s go for dinner?"
"After knowing your mistakes, you're still not coming over to compensate me!" Hassan embraced Elena.
"Compensate?" Elena looked confused. "How should I compensate?"
Hassan's eyebrows furrowed even tighter. "You're really clueless!"
"Thank you!" Elena said with a smile.
"Clueless is derogatory, and you're thanking me?" Hassan became even more convinced that Elena had a problem with her intelligence.
Elena raised the remote control in her hand and said, "I mean this, thank you for the fireworks you prepared for me, I really liked them!"
Hassan's lip curled up on one side. "Who said they were for you? You're being presumptuous."
Elena scratched her head in a dilemma.
"Come here and compensate me!" Hassan urged once again.
"How should I compensate you?"
The question seemed to enter a dead end once again, and Hassan's handsome face became increasingly.
He turned black, "Kiss me..."
Pointing to his own lips, he bluntly hinted that it seemed useless to imply anything to this woman.
Elena blushed slightly, "I haven't brushed my teeth yet!"
"Don't worry, I'm not disgusted by you!" Hassan was about to lose patience.
Elena tiptoed, pouting her lips, and leaned toward Hassan's lips, gently, bit by bit.
She was almost about to touch his lips when his large hand suddenly held her small head and gently pulled her away.
Elena opened her eyes, and Hassan got off the chair, "Let's go, let's eat first!"
Elena felt embarrassed. She took the initiative to kiss for the first time, but he rejected her, feeling quite awkward!
Hassan got up, picked up a large plastic sheet, and covered the statue, which was already draped in white gauze. Only then did he pull Elena out.
"Who is that woman?" Elena pointed to the statue and asked.
Hassan responded coldly, "Why do you care so much?"
"Why are all those animals incomplete?"
Hassan pushed Elena out directly, turned around, closed the door of the carving room, and locked it casually.
Hassan walked in front of Elena with big steps, quickly reaching the elevator. Elena quickly caught up, thinking he hadn't heard her and asked seriously again.
"Why are all those animals incomplete? Is it because your skills are not good enough?"
Hassan's handsome face turned black again. His big hand squeezed her small face, "You have too many questions!"
"I'm just curious, tell me!" Elena chattered. Hassan turned around, suddenly raised his arms, and pinned her against the wall.
Then, a scorching hot kiss came at her face. Elena softly murmured, and her mouth was immediately dominated by his aggressiveness. Their intense tussle made Elena's face blush and left her gasping for breath.
Strange, weren't we supposed to go eat? Why didn't he kiss her just now, and now he's holding her in the elevator.
While kissing passionately, Elena's stomach made a protesting sound.
Hassan let go of her hand, with a playful smile in his dark eyes, "You're so hungry and you don't even think about eating?"
Elena's face turned red, wishing she could find a hole to hide in.
"I... I haven't eaten anything all day, and you were so mean to me!"
"You have the nerve to say that, as if hitting a ball is like being tortured..." After he finished speaking, he suddenly raised his hand to caress her chin and curiously asked, "Elena, you're amazing. How did you manage to run away from that court?"
Although there were no fences in that court, within a radius of hundreds of miles, there were dense forests around. It would be difficult for a person to walk out of there just relying on their feet.
"... Maybe I was lucky! I met someone on horseback and asked them to give me a ride!" Elena blinked her eyes.
"A man or a woman?" Hassan's tone was filled with jealousy.
"Of course... a woman!" Elena could only lie.
"If it were a man, he would definitely die a terrible death."
Hassan coldly snorted, causing Elena to break out in a cold sweat. Why did she feel like she was walking on thin ice?
Noura watched her master and Elena dining together intimately, finally letting go of all her worries.
Hassan's eating gestures were very elegant, nothing like the fiery temper he had.
Elena's stomach was really hungry, devouring her food, when she felt a scorching gaze on her.
Elena looked up, her eyes widening, with food still in her mouth, looking quite humorous and cute.
Hassan couldn't help but put down his chopsticks, his lips slightly curved into a smile that seemed like a joke.
Elena quickly struggled to swallow all the food in her mouth. "Are you laughing at me?"
Hassan glanced at her, holding a wine glass in his right hand, gently swaying it. "No!"
"Yes, you are! I saw it!" Elena hummed a few times.
Hassan wiped his mouth with a napkin, the laughter in his eyes undisguised.
"By the way, I want to go to England!" Elena said seriously.
"No!" Hassan didn't let her finish, directly interrupting her words.
"My sister is in England, I have to go find her..." Elena tried to get permission.
"No!" Hassan coldly and mercilessly rejected her request decisively.
"Hassan, can you please be reasonable? My sister has been kidnapped; my mother won't be able to handle it. If I don't do anything, wouldn't that be heartless?"
Elena became anxious, instantly losing any favorable impression she had of Hassan.
A tyrant is always a tyrant, indeed, he doesn't listen to reason at all.
Hassan narrowed his eyes, staring at her, "Your sister is originally from the Robinson family, what's wrong with her going back to her own home?"
"Hassan, how can you say that? She's my own sister, she just had an accident, and her emotions are not stable. She won't be able to bear going to the Robinson family."
"I don't think so!" Hassan said coldly, "In any case, you are not allowed to go!"
Elena stood up from her chair, suddenly thinking of something, and said seriously, "Since you are so familiar with the Robinson family, then do me a favor and help me save my sister."
Hassan glanced at her askew, this time refusing more decisively, "It's not possible."
"Why?" Elena stared at Hassan.
"There's no why. Noura, take Elena back to her room to rest!"
Hassan clearly didn't want to continue discussing this issue with Elena and directly had Noura "escort" Elena back to her room, with a hint of coercion.
"Hassan, I thought we at least had some feelings between us. I didn't expect you to be so cold-hearted! Fine, if you won't help, then forget it. I'll figure it out myself!"
"I don't expect you to, consider everything I said to you today to be bullshit."
Elena felt incredibly disappointed. After being with Hassan for so long, whenever she encountered a major issue, he would always take care of it for her. So, deep down in her heart, she held a faint hope that aside from the business transaction, he might still have some feelings for her.
In fact, how difficult could this matter be? When they were at Gold Island last time, he received people from the Robinson family, which proved that he had personal connections with them. Since they were friends, why was it so difficult for him to lend a hand?
Or maybe she was overthinking it, and he never really cared about her.
Noura was right; Hassan never lacked women, especially someone as cheap as her.
"What did you say?"
Hassan's handsome face grew gloomy again, and he grasped Elena's chin with his large hand.
Elena lifted her gaze and stared at him, "I said, forget what I said today! I don't need your help anymore! I'll figure it out myself."
Hassan seemed to have heard a funny joke, and a touch of mockery appeared at the corner of his mouth.
"Do you think someone from the Robinson family would accompany you in such a childish act? I warn you, if you dare to provoke anyone from the Robinson family, I will make you leave without mercy."
As he spoke the last sentence, his tone was harsh, and filled with endless anger.
"Master, let me assist Miss Walker back to her room..."
Taking advantage of the fact that the situation hadn't escalated, Noura quickly pulled Elena towards the master bedroom on the second floor.
Suddenly, Elena felt deeply regretful. Why did she beg him? Knowing that she was just a plaything to him, why did she recklessly overestimate her abilities? Now, she found herself in such a miserable situation.
She was truly foolish! Wealthy men don't believe in emotions; they only see money.
