Nicks and I just stayed at home the next day.
"Be careful, Nicka!" When she was by the pool and swimming.
"Yeah!" she replied.
"Hi, there!" The newcomer greeted me.
I was distracted.
"Oh! Luna!" I said her name.
Is she just going in and out of the mansion?
"Where is Nicko?" she averted her eyes.
"He is still in the room," I told her again.
"Okay!" And she was about to go up there.
I quickly stood up and held his hand. She looked at my hand holding hers. I removed my grip.
"Yes?" she begged.
"What do you need from him? I told you, he is still in the room." I announced civilly.
"I will go to him and tell him what I need." she grinned.
"No! You are not going there in our room." I sneered at her.
"Nicko was right! You assume too much.
So, tell me, do you believe in what Nicko is doing?" she suddenly laughed out loud.
"Why not? I live in his house. We have a child. And most of all, he just admitted to the whole world that I am his girlfriend." I defended myself.
"You want to know the real reason why he is doing all that?
He just puts you on board to get full custody of the child. Then after he is done with you, he will leave you like a rag.
So have fun, Eve. I know Nicko. He has no other woman to love like Genina. Are you good in bed? Do you initiate?

I stood up. I moved toward the clothes he took off. I scented it.
I scented it for the second time. This is not his perfume. I know very well the smell of his perfume.

I am not in the mood to go to his office but I still headed for the elevator.

I accepted the envelope. What could it be?

"DNA Test Report?" I was surprised.
"Yeah!" He replied.
"You did a DNA test without my consent. Why? Do not tell me, you doubted me?" I felt annoyed.

"You should have told me. You surprised me. I guess, by now you can keep serenity. Because Nicka is 99.9998% your daughter." I looked back at the paper.
"And Nicka can use my name officially," he added.
"Using your name?" I begged.
Does not he intend to do anything but surprise me now?
"I want Nicka to use my surname." He exclaimed.
So, he is slowly acting legally to get full custody of Nicka? Why does he abruptly want Nicka to use his last name?

"They want to unwind with Luna! Are you trying to make Nicka closer to Luna?" I said weakly but angrily.

"Just go to Grandma first, baby!" Nicks ordered her.
Nicka did and glanced at me again.
"You do not know what I went through with Nicka. You do not know how I spin and get upset when she is sick.
She is having a high fever when her tonsils get swollen." I was finally able to speak out loud.
"I am making it up for my child. I am giving her everything she wants," he answered back.
"Giving her everything she wants? Instead of everything she needs?
I did not raise Nicka in luxury. I did not buy her expensive toys just to make her happy.
Nicka is used to having simple things. She is not even demanding for it." I said angrily.
"That is it, as her mother, you are always the right one. When will you give my full rights to my child?" Nikolai also raised his voice.
"So you want full rights, full custody that is why you are doing all this?" I begged.
"Why not? I want her to use my name. It should not be an issue since I am her biological father." He said with a shrug.
"All right, if that is all you are after!" And I left the room.
It came from his mouth. Luna was not telling an untruth all along. When he gets everything he wants, he will heave me like a rag.
