At TvN8 Station...
"Sir Nikolai, you have a visitor outside," said Nikolai's assistant.
"All right, let the visitor in." he promptly agreed while he was busy reading the comments for the Love Hotline show.
He shook his head. No matter who they swap for Eve people are no longer very interested in the Love Hotline.
It looks like they need to have a meeting to replace this segment.
"Thanks for letting me in." a familiar voice let out.
Nikolai quickly addressed the speaker.
"Why are you here again? Have I told you not to visit me especially here in my office." he declared calmly.
"Nikolai, I am here because I have something important to tell you." the newcomer mumbled softly.
"What else are you going to tell me, Fritz? I am not sleeping with you ever again. I am a badass in bed." And he turned his attention back to his laptop.
Nikolai was alarmed when Fritz abruptly spat up.
"There is the restroom!" he pointed at the same time.
Fritz came running there. Nikolai could still hear her throwing up.
He grimaced at what he had thought of.
Fritz soon came out.
"Are you sick?" Nikolai implored.
Fritz shook her head as an answer.
"Nikolai, I am pregnant!" Fritz's confession.
"Oh well, congratulations!" he shrugged.
"You are the father of my baby. I am one month delayed and I took a pregnancy test. It is positive, Nikolai!" Fritz asserted.
"Hey! Do not make a scene. I will not buy that parody either." Nikolai barely laughed.
"I am not fooling around! Here!" and Fritz laid the pregnancy test kit on Nikolai's table.
Nikolai glared at what Fritz had laid down. Yes, it was clear in his eyes that two lines were the result of that pregnancy test.
And two lines refer to positive.
"How can you get pregnant? I can not even remember what happened to the two of us!
Then it is effortless to get a positive pregnancy test result." he still does not want to believe it.
Fritz opened her bag again and took an envelope.
"What is this?" Nikolai raised a question annoyingly.
"I went to an obstetrician and I had an ultrasound. This is an early pregnancy detection.
Yes, Nikolai, there is an embryo inside my womb. He also has a heartbeat.
What happened that night paid off and we will have a child." Fritz announced happily.
"How can you be sure that the baby is mine? We have no relationship, Fritz.
Only once did something happen to the two of us. It has been two months since that last ensued." Nikolai crumpled the paper he was holding.
"I am not in a relationship with anybody. I do not just have s*x with anyone.
I am willing to grant you a Paternity DNA Test if you are hesitant." asserted Fritz quickly.
In the province...
"I guess, one more month and this resort will be finished," said Paul as he passed by the resort.
"So, I am excited about the opening," I announced again.
"You know, every time I see you, you are becoming more lovely." he suddenly complimented me.
"You are kidding me! I am already stressed out." I giggled.
"You look nicer even if you are stressed out. Your smiles take away my somnolence, Eve." and Paul stared at me.
The feeling is awkward! Why did he treat me so special?
I could not answer what Paul proclaimed because Ella and Phil abruptly arrived.
"What's up?" Phil begged.
"Phil, we are just talking about the resort." my answer.
"What? Paul, are you and my sister still talking about the resort?
I admire you for being an amazing man. But you are weak and slow when it comes to women." Phil chuckled.
"Phil, stop it! Do not bother bullying Paul." I restrained my brother.
"It is fine with me, Eve! I am used to Phil's attitude towards me." Paul said with a smile.
"I agree, Paul, why are you so slow?" Ella also inquired.
I am ashamed of Phil. I do not want him to think of anything. Perhaps, he is just too kind to me so he behaves like this.
I am no longer deserving of one like him. I became a surrogate mother and I lost a child.
Also, I have no intention of trifling with any man because my heart only belongs to someone.
Their Point-of-Views
"Here is the result of the Paternity DNA Test done on Fritz!" when Nathan entered Nikolai's office.
"Have you seen it?" Nikolai pleaded.
"Nope! You have the right to look at the result. And I guess, you better find it with yourself so that your doubts disappear as well." Nathan advised.
He handed the envelope to Nikolai. Nikolai held it but he was unable to open it.
It seemed to be one of the things in his life that he did not feel excited about. It looks like he just wants to delete it or fast forward to finish this occurrence.
He has no choice but to see the result. When he opened the envelope and picked up the paper he scuffed his head.
"What?" Nathan asked again.
"This cannot be happening, Nathan! How can I get Fritz pregnant if I do not remember we had s*x?" Nikolai softened at what he found out.
"So is it ninety-nine point nine percent probability?" assurance of Nathan.
Nikolai bobbed his head.
"What is your plan now?" Nathan added.
"I have no plan! I only know one thing, I will not let the child suffer. It is not his fault." he sloped profoundly.
Nikolai had a headache so he decided to go home early. He also can not think straight here in his office.
He is no longer productive today so he will just go home.
"Baby!" he called when he saw Nicka doing something on the table.
"Hi, daddy!" Nicka's greetings.
"What is that?" he asked his child.
"I am drawing our family. This is you, this is mommy, this is me and this angel is baby Gabriel." Nicka explained what she did.
"Wow! Do you miss mommy?" he implored Nicka.
"I miss her every day! And I am sure, she misses us too." smiling Nicka let out.
"I need to rest in my room, Nicka," he announced.
"By the way, Daddy, Grandpa, and Grandma have a visitor in the piazza." Nicka changed the subject.
"A visitor?" he asked.
"Aha! A woman." Nicka retorted.
"What does she look like?" again he pleaded with her.
"She is pretty, tall, her hair is blonde." Nicka's description.
"Nanny May, you take care of Nicka first. I will check on them at the piazza." and he kissed his child.
Nikolai already has an idea of the could be the visitor Nicka told her a little while ago.
He was not mistaken. He saw his parents talking to Fritz.
And how did this woman find out where he lived? He was sure she had already told his parents the truth.
"Nikolai!" Fritz smiled when she saw Nikolai.
"Mom, Dad!" and Nikolai bussed his parents.
"Nicks, good and you have arrived. Why didn't you introduce us to Fritz?" Lincoln's foreword.
Nikolai was astonished when Fritz moved toward him and wrapped her hand around his arm.
"What did she tell you?" Nikolai asked bitterly.
He slightly refused Fritz.
"She is your girlfriend and she is pregnant," Lincoln answered back again.
"Son, let us talk!" Vina stood up and pulled Nikolai away.
"Who is she?" Vina asked as they were able to move away from Fritz and Lincoln.
"Mommy, I was with her one night when I was badly intoxicated," Nikolai reacted.
"What kind of woman is she to go with a drunk and be with him on the bed?" Vina begged angrily.
"She has to plan to leave me alone. I swear, I can not remember what arose to us that night. But she conducted a Paternity DNA Test and I am the father of her baby." He explained to his mother.
"What have you done? How about Eve? How will you tell Nicka all this? She is expecting a complete family with you and Eve." Vina's voice was nasty.
"I do not know, Mom! My mind is in a mess now. I do not know who can help me. I do not know what to do." He complained.
"Be responsible for your child. That is the best thing you can do. But I am telling you, I do not want you to marry that woman." Vina's recommendation.
They returned to the piazza.
"Nicks, aren't you happy with the result of the Paternity DNA Test?" Fritz interrogated.
"Hey! Do not call me Nicks. Only my family can call me that name." rebuke of Nikolai.
"We will be a family soon. I saw your child, Nicka, she is so pretty," exclaimed Fritz.
"Won't you even ask where her mother is? What am I going to do with Nicka's mommy? With our family?
What the heck are you thinking when you come here to our house? Fritz, I will not run away from my responsibility to my child.
That is the best offer I can give you." Nikolai finally said what he wanted to say.
"Nicka has no mother. She died! And her surrogate mother abandoned you because she also lose your child." mumbled Fritz.
"Watch your words! Eve did not abandon them. She left with our consent and she will be back." Vina could not restrain herself.
Their conversation heats up.
Fritz, on the other hand, will fight and will not relinquish her right as the mother of Nikolai's child.
