Chapter 71 Chapter 71 - Opening of Garden of Leto

The opening of the Garden of Leto Events Place and Resort went smoothly.
It has been a week since we opened and we have acquired a lot of guests already.
"Our guests in a room are from Manila. Eve, they do not know that you are the owner but they are looking for you.
You are the viral queen. Because our opening went viral." Ella announced.
"There is nothing we can do about people taking videos and posting about the Garden of Leto. It is their choice, Ella.
I cannot hide the fact about the resort." I smiled explaining to her.
"Perhaps, it is written in your doom to become famous. Because even if you are no longer in showbiz, you are still famous." she praised me.
There is no point in me concealing my business because what I want is for Nikolai to know and for him to come here and see me.
Their Point-of-Views
"Nikolai, your Dad and Nicka and I are going on vacation. I guess we should take Nicka out of the house.
The amount of going on here at home that I am sure is hard for her to understand and process in his young mind." Vina when she talked to Nikolai one day.
"Where are you going? I will come with you." Nikolai's prompt response.
"I am sure when you come along, Fritz will come with you too. I want to take Nicka away from her in the meantime.
She is pestering the mind of my grandchild." Vina announced annoyingly.
"Mom, I do not think she is harming Nicka. It is just a concurrency that Nicka does not like her because she is still thinking of her mother.
Fritz's pregnancy is complicated. So please, let us understand her too." He pleaded.
"The way you are telling me things, you seem to believe more in that woman than in your child.
Do not tell me, you also want to let that Fritz stay in here. I can not accept that anymore, Nikolai!
Better yet, bring her to another house but not here in our house with Nicka." Vina's confrontation with Nikolai.
"That is what I am supposed to tell you. Mom, I am occupied with my work. And Fritz also needs someone to look after her.
She is pregnant with your grandchild too." He opened up.
"Take Nanny May with her and I will take care of Nicka." Vina's stand on what she said earlier.
"Please, do not make it hard for me!" he again contended.
"I am not making it hard for you! I am helping you not to ruin your relationship with your daughter.
Nicka is so exhausted because of what you did. And she will surely find it even harder to live with that woman.
I am pleading to you, do not let her live with Nicka." Vina mumbled calmly.
And Vina has left Nikolai.
Nikolai also could not understand himself. Last time he did not believe Fritz. But now that her stomach is slowly bulging, he is sure that he is pregnant.
He had learned from what he had done to Nicka in the past. Even though he knew that a woman underwent surrogacy because he and Genina decided on it, he still chose to abandon his child.
He will not allow another child to suffer because of his wrong decisions.
Although he has no feelings for Fritz, he does not want to relinquish their future child.
He will look after Fritz and he will make sure that her pregnancy will go well until their child comes out.
At TvN8 Station...
"That Garden of Leto is very wonderful." Lara while watching a vlogger's vlog on the monitor of her computer.
"May I see it!
Wow! Yes! Boracay inspired. We would better go there." King suggested.
"I have news for you! Finish that vlog. You will be startled at what you will see in the video." Sittie's indication.
Lara and King focused their attention on the video.
"Oh my! Is that true? Is what I see in the video right?" Lara begged when she paused the said video.
"There is Eve and Ella!" King mentioned their names.
"You see, that is Eve and Ella. I am right." amazed Sittie let out.
"That is them, nothing else." Lara's confirmation.
"Maybe they went on a vacation there. Or are they the owner?" King inquired.
"I feel like they were just on vacation there. I do not think they will open a business in the province." Sittie proclaimed openly.
"I will show you one more." and Sittie faced the computer Lara was using.
Then she searched there.
"What?" at the same time Lara and King asserted in shock.
"The Garden of Leto and the Taste of Antonio are only about ten minutes away from each other.
Someone took a photo of Eve with a man dining in that restaurant." Sittie elucidated.
"What is this commotion all about?" question that interrupted their chitchat.
"Sir Nathan!" they told at once.
"That is Eve!" at once he peeked at the monitor.
Because of Nathan's harassment, they were forced to show the video to him as well.
In Nikolai's office...
"Are you busy?" Nathan begged.
"My mind is messing up, Nathan!" Nikolai retorted.
"In that case, probably I should have postponed this." his self-control.
"Hey, Nathan, what is that?" Nikolai asked.
"You have too many troubles. I will just show it to you some other time." his statement.
"Come on, my sanity can still handle it. What is it?" he insisted on Nathan.
"Alright, look at these screenshot photos." and he showed what was on his cellphone.
"That is Eve and Ella," he confirmed.
"Yes, they were in a newly opened resort somewhere in the South. The video where the two were filmed went viral." introduction by Nathan.
"Where is that resort?" Nikolai implored.
"Garden of Leto is the resort name." he clarified.
"Then let us search for it and let us go there. Maybe they are still there.
I went to Eve's house again last night but there was yet no one there." Nikolai announced weakly.
"Do you prefer to go to Eve? Why? To tell her your condition?
Do you think, she will believe you if you will tell her that you do not like Fritz but made her pregnant?" Nathan's reaction.
"I wish to see Eve. I want to hug her. I do not want to think about Fritz in the meantime." he declared openly.
"I have one more photo to show you!" and Nathan browsed his phone once again.
"Here!" he handed to Nikolai the phone.
"Eve is with someone in that photo. That restaurant is Taste of Antonio. Approximately, ten minutes away from Garden of Leto." Nathan deciphered.
"Could that mean, Eve's boyfriend is that man who may own the Garden of Leto and Taste of Antonio?" predicted Nikolai.
"It is not impossible! I decided to show this to you and perhaps it will help your decision-making." Nathan's guidance.
In the Garden of Leto...
"Good afternoon, Garden of Leto how may I help you?" answered the receptionist.
"Hi, I'm planning to make a reservation. Would you mind telling me who the owner of Garden of Leto is?" the one on the other line.
"Of course, the owner of the Garden of Leto is Ms. Everlee Legazpi." the receptionist retorted again.
When their conversation ended...
"It is confirmed, Eve is the owner of the Garden of Leto," said Nathan.
"It is in the south. That is where Eve's dad's place is. I have met her brother and step-mom when I went there.
I am right, that was where she went when she bid goodbye to Nicka and me." And Nikolai gulped.
"The owner of the Taste of Antonio is Paul Salvio. I want to go there to see Ella. I want to reconcile with her." Nathan's decision.
In Fritz's condominium unit...
"What is going on with you?" Mela raised a question.
"I am just trying to catch a pot of gold!" Fritz grinned.
"I can not get it, Fritz!" and Mela sat down on the settee.
"Don't you know Nikolai La Marcus? He is a billionaire for Pete's sake.
He owns the TvN8 Station and a lot of other businesses. Then, I must admit, I got attracted to him the first night we met each other." Fritz confessed.
"How about Morris?" Mela pleaded.
"I will deal with Morris when everything is in order. Do not stress me out, Mela. I am pregnant.
And I should be able to give birth and Nikolai should recognize this child." And he smoked a cigarette.
"You are pregnant but you can still smoke. Then wait, what did you do to make Nikolai recognize that child?" Mela even covered her nose to keep from smelling Fritz's cigarette smoke.
"I have to be as clever as a cartload of monkeys, Mela! Just let me accomplish it," she said smiling.
"Just do not come to me when that plan of yours goes awry. And make sure you get through it in the end." Mela stood up.
"Where are you going?" Fritz asked.
"I do not want to see you first. I am not in favor of what you are doing because Nathan is my friend.
And Nikolai is his best friend." Mela stopped walking.
"I am your friend too!" Fritz responded.
"But you are doing it wrong!" and Mela finally left Fritz's condominium unit.
Fritz just shook her head.
She continued to smoke her cigarette.
She smiled sarcastically again and she is determined to pursue her plans.
