Mommy Vina calling...
"Eve, we are coming!" she heard on the other line.
"Really? All right, Mommy Vina, I will get your room ready here in the Garden of Leto." I felt excitement.
I will see them all again. I will be able to hug Nicka. Mommy Vina and Daddy Ramon. Aunt Ellie. And most of all Nikolai!
I could talk to him and I can tell him that I have forgiven him.
And I am sure we can start anew. A series of problems have come to me in the past, but now there are a series of blessings.
"Let them do that. You know our staff. They are polished and the guests are always delighted with their set up." Ella halted me.
"Make yourself beautiful so that when your Prince Charming arrives, you can make another baby after Gabriel right away." Ella's teasing.
"Ella, you are always poking fun at me. I plan to take another bath and change my clothes. Should I change my dress?" and I even adjusted the dress I was wearing.
"That is fine but if you have a better dress there, change it," suggested Ella.
"I am so excited to see them. I miss them all." I am glad to say.
"Of course, you have not seen each other for a long time. I miss Mama. It is a good thing she comes with them." Ella said happily too.
When I finished my instruction to our staff, I entered the room reserved for me here at the resort.
I can not explain how I feel! I am very joyous but I am also anxious. I will finally hug and kiss my child again.
I can finally be with Nikolai likewise.
When I finished taking a bath, I immediately chose a better dress than the one I had worn a while ago.
I want to be presentable in Nikolai's eyes. I am sure he misses me too.
I smiled!
I barely put make-up on my face. And then I sprayed my favorite perfume.
My life is so far away from the life of Eve Lopez. If then I was always in front of the camera and had to be perfect in the eyes of the fans, now I can be simply the way I want and I am comfortable with.
I feel like butterflies are flying inside my stomach.
How do I react when I see Nikolai? Will I nuzzle him right away or will I let him come to me first?

I left the room again for our other guests. I also have to take care of them.
"Eve!" someone called my name.
I saw Paul waving at me.
"Paul, you dropped by!" I told him.
"I delivered some orders to one of your guests. I told my delivery man I will just go here," he explained.
"Yes! That is great!" was my short answer.
"Eve, I wish I had something to ask you. I do not know if it is the right time to tell you. But let me just tell you so you can think about it too." Paul began.
"We would better sit by the poolside so we can talk properly." and I wandered before him.
Paul followed me and sat across from me.
"What is that?" I asked him again.
"Did Phil and Aunt Darcie ever tell you about our reunion?" Paul also begged.
"Yes, they mentioned that you have a family reunion every year." I shrugged.
"About that, that is where it is held in the ancestral house of our grandparents.
All our relatives go there. And every reunion, they ask me why I do not have a girlfriend with me.
Grandpa once talked to me. He asked why I do not have a girlfriend or why am I not even dating a woman.
It is so funny! He interrogated me if I am gay!" Paul cracked up at the same time.
"I am also wondering. There are a lot of women out there and I am sure they like you." I announced softly.
"Love is not forced, is it? It has to be felt from deep inside the heart.
Eve, can I take you to the reunion?" Paul asserted abruptly.
"Why would you take me with you?" I also promptly pleaded.
"So they will stop thinking that I am gay." and he chuckled again.
"Maybe they will just gossip about you more because of me. For sure they know my past and the story of my life." it was as if I had already rejected him.
"Think about it. You still have a lot of time. I can defend you from people who will think badly of you." and Paul stared at me.
He also bid goodbye because he still had to return to Taste of Antonio.
I am sure that I cannot do him the favor. I cannot act as his special girl in front of his family especially now that I am reuniting with Nikolai.
As I knew that Nicka's arrival was approaching, I became even more uneasy.
I stayed in the reception area so I could see them as soon as they arrived.
"Ella, come here first. They will be coming soon." I called Ella.
"All right, all right! Wow! You are gorgeous as always. Nikolai might not be able to stop himself and abruptly grab you!" Ella snickered at the same time.
"So I am getting ready for it!" I cackled too.
Later, a van stopped near the entrance of the Garden of Letto lobby.
I took a profound gust. I have a strong feeling that they are here.
Our staff opened the door of the van to assist the guests.
"Mommy!" the prompt calling of the child who comes down from the van.
I felt vastly satisfied! I quickly ran towards her.
"Nicka! Baby! Nicka!" and I instantly hugged her very tightly.
"Mommy, I missed you so much!" Nicka murmured.
"I missed you big time, Nicka!" I answered her back.
I stood up to face and welcome Mommy Vina and Daddy Ramon.
"Welcome to Garden of Leto, Mommy Vina, Daddy Ramon!" I said smiling.
Then we hugged each other too. I looked at the van with its door reopened.
This Nikolai, I am sure!
"Ella!" a call from the person who vacated from the van.
"Mom!" and Ella ran to Aunt Ellie.
Then Aunt Ellie and I nuzzled each other.
Where is Nikolai?
"Mhmm..." I did not know how to let out my query.
"Eve, Nikolai was not with us because he had a conference meeting abroad." Mommy Vina seems to have read what I want to say.
"Is that so? We should accompany you to your room. So that you can rest before eating." I felt unexpected remorse.
"Your place is relaxing and very nice!" praised Daddy Ramon.
Then we continued our greetings and conversed as we went to their room.
I did not let go of Nicka's hand. Without Nikolai, at least, my child is here.
Then Nikolai's reason is valid! He can not prioritize vacation over his job and many people depend on him.
"Rest first. I will prepare the food and the delicacies here in the province. I am sure you will like the food here.
And Nicka, the pool is big, let us go swimming later." I announced.
"I am sorry and Nikolai was not able to make it," said Daddy Ramon unexpectedly.
"I understand, Daddy Ramon. He should prioritize work. You can come back here again. Whenever you want." I giggled.
"Mommy, I do not want to rest. I want to come with you," said Nicka.
"All right, Eve, take Nicka with you. She will not be resting here either." smiling Mommy Vina asserted.
I took Nicka outside so we could talk and bond. I took her to the resort cafe and I ordered ice cream for her.
"I can ear a lot of ice cream now, Mommy because Daddy has already brought me to the doctor and treated my tonsils," announced Nicka.
"Wow! That is great! The ice cream here is flavorful, Nicka.
How is dad?" I finally implored.
FLASHBACK...
Their Point-of-Views
"Nicka, we will visit mommy," Vina informed her grandchild.
"Really? Wow! Is Daddy coming with us?
Grandma, I want them to be together again for mommy to come home again. I do not like the witch." Nicka's litany.
"Can Grandma ask a favor from you?
Nicka, do not tell your daddy first that we are going to mommy. Because daddy still has a problem with the witch.
And do not inform your mommy about the witch either. Let daddy tell her. As adults, they need to settle their problems on their own.
Do you understand grandma?" Vina explained at length.

"He is in a conference so Daddy is not with us.

A substantial part of my heart with longingness has replenished with contentment now.
