Ella visited me and Nicka one day at the La Marcus' Mansion.
"How are you? How is the baby?" Ella's inquiry.
"We are both doing well. Do you still see Luna visiting Nicks at TvN8 Station?" I shifted the topic.
"I do not want to stress you out. I know that your situation is delicate." Ella told me with concern.
"I know that she is still trying to obtain Nicks from me. I thought she is engaged with her boyfriend." I scoffed.
"Yes, she is engaged with her boyfriend but Sir Nickolai is not yet engaged with you.
That could be the reason why she is acting flirt with Sir Nikolai." Ella clarified.
"I could feel Nicks' coldness to me in the past days.
Is something going on between the two of them?
He told me that Luna is just a friend. But why can't I feel it that way?" I held up my chest.
"Just take care of yourself and the baby. When you are pregnant with Nicka, you are alone.
And you made it!" she advised me.
"I want to go home!" I announced.
"You have learned from your past mistake. Before deciding on it, you should talk to Sir Nikolai. You are not alone when you made the baby.
Just talk to him first and you both conclude on what to do." again Ella rationalized.
"Alright, I am coming with you to TvN8 Station. I wish to talk to Nicks.
When he got home at night, I could not discuss with him since he is already tired." my judgment.
Ella escorted me to the car heading to TvN8 Station.
I better discuss this circumstance with Nikolai. I want to go home and continue my pregnancy on my own again.
I am with him but I could feel that he always chose Luna. He always prefers their friendship even if that woman is bestowing my excessive anxiety.
At TvN8 Station...
"Stay here for a while. Sir Nikolai is in the conference room for an important meeting." when Ella checked on him.
"Okay, Ella, I will be fine here," I told her.
Almost all of them are in the conference room for the said meeting.
Sittie, Lara, and King are not here either.
Ella needs to report at the meeting too.
"Ma'am, someone instructed me to give it to you." a maintenance staff reach out for something.
This is a white envelope. I sulked. What could it be? Who would give this to me?
"Meet me at the rooftop!" as I read what is written in the paper.
I would inquire to the maintenance staff but he disappeared already. Could it be a proposal from Nicks?
Is the meeting at the conference hall just a drama?
Was it why they are all not in here?
I guess Nicks prepared a surprise including Lara, Sittie, and King. And of course, Ella knows about this.
I felt a sudden excitement and thrilled!
The grief that I was feeling a little while ago altered to pleasure.
I went to the elevator. I am apprehensive but enthusiastic.
What is Nikolai's plan? He likes surprises and I think this is the most fascinating surprise he had ever intended.
"Love, Love!" I called when I was on the rooftop.
I rolled my eyes around.
"So, you think Nicko would tell you to come here!" A voice that made me scared.
"Lu-Luna, what are you doing here?" I implored to hear.
"I will not allow you and Nicko to stay together.
Genina was out of his life. And I will never allow you to be his wife!
I am the only woman who deserves to be with Nicko!" she slowly moved toward me.
"Wait, Luna! I no longer care about the untruths you told me. Nicks and I love each other. And most of all, that love is genuine!" I calmly replied to her.
"What did Nicko like about you? I changed myself for him. And I thought he would notice me, he would like me." And she got closer to me.
"Luna, before loving other people you should love yourself first.
You are engaged with Mr. Chin! And soon to be a bride. Aren't you happy about that?
You do not have to change or remake yourself just to make Nicks like you. Mr. Chin loves you and he would marry you and make you his wife.
Nicks loves you! He loves you as a friend." I explained lengthily.
"He would marry me not for love, Eve!
Kenzie will marry me to be his slave! He is not treating me right!
I am a shabby girlfriend for him. I do not have value as a woman. He only esteems me as a slave, like a toy!
Friend? That is not all I want from Nicko! I want him to cuddle me. Kiss me!
Have fun in bed. I love Nicko so much!" she announced smiling.
"If Mr. Chin is not treating you right, then break up with him.
You do not deserve to be cared for like that.
I am going to have a child again with Nicks. And please, let me have a peaceful pregnancy.
I love this baby so much. I need Nicks. There is a lot of men out there who could behave toward you as a special woman." I tried to relax and convince her.
I could feel a premonition. And that premonition seems to be horrible.
"Are you sure that Nicko is the father of your baby?" she asked.
"Ye-yes, no one else! Because we love each other. And we are going to build a family!
Nicks still chose you to be his friend and he does not want to ravage that friendship that you built a long time ago until now." I took a step back.
"No! I will not be just a friend to Nicko! He will kiss me and hug me.
He will make love with me and make me pregnant.
I will not allow your pregnancy!" Luna shouted.
"Please, Luna, Do not do this to me and my baby! Let us go down and talk it over again." I told her nicely.
"No! Nicko is mine!" and she again yelled at me.
Their Point-of-Views
"Where is Eve? I left her here." Ella raised a question.
"Did she come with you?" Nicks begged.
"Yes, Sir Nikolai! She came with me to talk to you." Ella answered back.
"Where is she now? She will not just leave without notice." Nicks felt an abrupt uneasiness
"Sir Nikolai, Ma'am Ella, I am sorry to interrupt your conversation. Someone gave me an envelope and told me to give it to Ma'am Eve.
She said that Sir Nikolai ordered Ms. Eve to go to the rooftop for a surprise so I gave the letter to Ms. Eve." the maintenance staff announced.
"Why would I make it difficult for Eve to go to the rooftop?" Nikolai's question.
"If you did not bestow her the letter, who would give it?" Ella was puzzled.
At the rooftop...
"I loved him ever since we were kids. Until now, I still love him!
He is the man of my dreams! He cares for me better. He treats me like a special friend.
But why cannot he love me as a woman? I thought when Genina disappeared, he would notice me as a special woman.
But you came. And I guess, when you die, I will have him. He will turn his love to me." Luna's tone shifted.
"Luna, listen to me! You can never force love. Love must be spontaneous, love must be felt.
A relationship of two people will not work if you are just working on it. Love is a give and take relationship." I persuaded her.
"I will do everything for Nicko! I will do everything to get rid of you!" And unexpectedly she dragged me hard.
"Love!
Eve!" At once I heard a call.
I felt extreme discomfort. I could not stand up.
"Lovel!" When Nicks got close to me.
I clenched my belly. I glanced at the lower part of my thigh.
It is ample of blood.
I am percolating.
"Our baby! Save our baby!" And I did not know what happened next.
Their Point-of-Views
"Calm down, Nicks!" As Nhella caresses her brother's back.
"I will kill Luna when something horrible happens to Eve and our baby!" He announced angrily.
"Mom and Dad are sorting out about Luna. Just relax for a moment and let us wait for the doctor." Nhella's guidance.
"Love..." I mumbled softly.
And the bleeding earlier came back to my sanity.
"What happened? What happened to our baby" I fondled my belly.
"Love, are you alright?" Nicks came over and put up with my hand.
"The baby? How is the baby?" I begged repeatedly.
Instead of answering back, Nicks broke down! He cried!
"Love, what is wrong? Please, do not tell me that the baby is gone!
He is still in my womb, right?" I pleaded to him.
I could not find an answer from Nicks.
"Eve!" a call from Nhella.
"Where is my baby?" I confronted her.
"He is gone! The baby did not make it, Eve!" she almost grumbled.
"No! No! This is not true! My baby is still in my womb." and I stroked my belly.
"Baby, baby!" as I talked to my belly.
"Love, I am sorry! We lost our baby." Nicks knelt.
I do not want to believe what they are saying!
Perhaps I am still sleeping and having a bad dream.
I want to close my eyes again and go back to this nightmare.
And finally, when I wake up, they will tell me that the baby is fine and was saved by the doctor.
