Chapter 17 A Sense of Familiarity

Elisa was taken aback when Simon mentioned her injury. She retorted, "It's none of your business."
If it weren't for Hillary's deliberate actions, she wouldn't have fallen like this.
Ignoring her defiance, Simon instructed David to find a nurse to treat Elisa's wound.
"I don't need your concern. My sister specifically warned me to stay away from you..." Elisa struggled but was held down tightly by him and couldn't move.
The nurse quickly came in and applied disinfectant to the wound. Despite enduring the pain, Elisa still shed tears while Simon explained things to Hillary.
"Elisa was just too excited earlier, so she accidentally pushed you. Don't blame her."
"Why would I blame her? I'm used to it." Enduring the pain, Elisa ignored Simon and didn't respond further.
"Be gentle," Simon told the nurse as he watched over them. With his current condition requiring bed rest, taking care of him became more difficult than before. However, with his assistant around, Elisa didn’t have much trouble either.
Most importantly though is that since seeing her injured hand at the hospital earlier on; he hasn’t been giving her a hard time anymore.
But no matter what they did or how comfortable they made things for her at the hospital; Elisa could never get used to sleeping in those beds there.
She tossed and turned every night until midnight before finally falling asleep which resulted in not waking up even after twenty minutes of being called by Simon.
This angered him greatly causing him to throw an orange directly at her head shouting “Hillary are you a pig!?”
"Ahh!"
Elise woke up holding onto where she had been hit only to see an angry-looking face staring back at hers.
"What happened?"
Simon tried hard not to say anything but eventually spat out two words, "The toilet."
"Where's David? Isn't he here?"
Elisa felt embarrassed as going to the bathroom was something that his assistant usually helped him with.
"He hasn't come yet. So are you not planning on taking me in there?"
With no one else around, Elisa had no choice but to help Simon into the bathroom. As soon as she did so, she immediately turned her back towards him.
When Simon came out of the bathroom again, he noticed that Elisa's face was slightly red.
"Are you okay now? Let me help you back onto the bed."
"Mm-hmm," replied Elisa.
Simon couldn’t take his eyes off her cute expression and forgot about the pair of shoes lying beside the bed.
Even with Elisa helping him up; they still stumbled a bit which caused them both to fall onto the bed together.
At that moment when their bodies touched each other, a strong sense of familiarity once again crawled up Simon's heart.
Looking at Elisa’s blushing cheeks made even the air feel more ambiguous than before.
Elisa’s heartbeat continued to accelerate and she knew she should push this man away from her but found herself trapped in his ink-like gaze unable to break free.
What is happening...why does this scene feel so familiar!
Simon dared not move either; caught by surprise by how faintly fragrant this woman was. The morning erection he already had became even stronger now and its intensity surpassed even that night when he was drugged.
His breathing gradually became heavier and his body involuntarily pressed against hers...
