Chapter 49 Get Out of Here

"Simon, can you help me? My arm seems to be broken and it hurts so much..." Hillary's acting skills were simply superb, tears falling as she spoke.

Most importantly, when Elisa pushed her, her hand didn't even touch the ground!

"Elisa, you're quite capable now. You've learned how to use your hands!" Simon glared at her fiercely and quickly helped Hillary up.

One sister sat on the ground in distress while the other stood with an imposing manner. Everyone could tell who was being bullied.

Seeing how careful Simon was with Hillary made Elisa feel like she had been pricked by a needle. It was clearly Hillary who had started it all by pulling her hair and tearing up her book. Why was Simon only blaming herself?

"I used my hands because..."

"Because I accidentally saw some information about her!" Hillary quickly interrupted Elisa's words as tears streamed down her face.

"Simon, I just asked why she has been in such close contact with Robert lately and she got angry and pushed me away while telling me to shut up..."

When Simon heard Robert's name mentioned, his veins bulged out even more. She was still in contact with that Robert!

"I haven't! How could I get angry over something like this? Don't make baseless accusations!" Elisa defended herself loudly while shaking from anger at being wrongly accused.

Diana and Margaret rushed over upon hearing the commotion. Diana especially looked confused as she stared at what was happening before them.

"What happened here? Take it easy, Hillary. Tell us slowly." Diana hugged Hillary's shoulder since she was worried about her health.

"Hillary, if you really didn't do anything wrong then why would your sister accuse you? The elders are all here now too so why won't you admit it?" Elisa cried as she spoke, making it hard for people not to believe her.

Simon didn't say anything and just handed his phone over to Elisa while giving a stern command.

"Unlock it and let everyone see if you really have been in contact with him!"

Elisa's eyes turned red. It was clear that he didn't trust her at all. Fine then, she would prove to him that she was innocent!

But as soon as she unlocked the phone, Robert's WeChat message popped up asking if they could chat on the phone. Elisa froze in place since she hadn't expected Robert to actually send her a message.

She knew very well that he only asked because he wanted to discuss how they could escape from the Brooks family.

But at this moment, there was no way for her to explain herself clearly.

The hope in Simon's eyes suddenly turned into hatred. He had held onto some last bit of hope before seeing what was on her phone but now he felt foolish.

Her heart had always belonged to that man named Robert from beginning till end.

In a fit of rage, Simon snatched away Elisa's phone and smashed it onto the ground while shouting,

"If your heart belongs to someone else then get out of here!"

Elisa stood frozen in place upon hearing his words and forgot about crying altogether. Although Simon often scolded her before, he had never been so angry like today...as if...he really never wanted to see her again?

Diana quickly tried mediating between them by saying,

"Simon, what are you talking about? She is still your child's mother."

"But she isn't carrying my child..."
