Chapter 50 The Only Person Who Believes Her

Simon's words were not finished yet, but Elisa and Diana looked up at him at the same time, their eyes full of shock.

Only Hillary smiled, thinking that Simon couldn't bear it anymore.

"Simon, what did you just say?"

Seeing Diana's pale face, Simon suddenly understood that this was a sign of her illness and could only put aside what he had just said.

"I mean, can she do whatever she wants because she is pregnant? Is our Iverson family's daughter-in-law a shrew?"

Having taken care of Elisa for so long, Diana knew her character and helped explain.

"There must be some misunderstanding. Hillary has always been sensible..."

"You don't have to protect her. If this is her true nature, soon she will no longer be your daughter-in-law."

Hillary wasn't really injured at all but still yelled out in pain. "Simon, can you hold me? My foot seems to be sprained."

Hot tears silently fell down as Elisa squatted down to pick up the torn parenting book piece by piece. Seeing her like this made Diana feel uncomfortable too; she couldn't help but hug her and say,"Good girl,I believe in you."

Being hugged like this made Elisa cry even harder."I'm sorry..."

"Hillary, since you have married into the Iverson family, you should abide by the rules of a wife."

"Let's eat together tonight? There is a new Japanese restaurant nearby which is very good..."

"You can eat whatever you want,but Elisa,I have something I want to ask you." Simon interrupted her words.

Hillary smiled generously and held his hand,"Simon,what do you want to ask?"

"You and Robert are schoolmates, so you must know something about your sister's relationship with him,right?"

Simon didn't know what he was still insisting on,but he still wanted to know the truth.It’s always about Elisa!

Suppressing the anger in her chest,Hillary decided to completely cut off his thoughts if Simon was so persistent towards Elisa!

"Yes,Roger is indeed my schoolmate.At that time,Hillary often came to university to play with me,and then met Roger.Hillary thought he looked handsome,and as a student from a prestigious university,she quickly started pursuing him.She also often invited him over for dinner.One time,the two stayed in Hillary's room until midnight.I happened  to come out for the bathroom,and saw Hillary only wearing pajamas sending Roger downstairs,with traces of lovemaking on her shoulders..."
