Chapter 4: She is My Sister

Beneath the man's handsome sword-like eyebrows were sharp and piercing eyes that seemed to be able to see through people's thoughts at a glance.
Elisa nervously swallowed her saliva and answered with guilt, "My name is Hillary. Didn't Madam tell you already?"
Simon furrowed his brows and silently repeated those three words in his mind - Hillary, Elisa...
"Then Elisa is..."
"She's my sister!" Elisa anxiously shouted out.
In an instant, Simon understood that his fiancée Hillary was actually Elisa's younger sister.
Elisa's pupils suddenly shrank. How did Simon know her name? She couldn't help but frown and ask him, "Do you know Elisa?"
Simon immediately let go of her and stood up straight. Perhaps they were sisters living under the same roof, so it was inevitable for them to have similar scents on their bodies.
"I do know your sister, Elisa," said Simon calmly.
He wrapped himself in a towel and sat down on a chair. When he mentioned the woman from last night, even his tone softened unconsciously.
However, Elisa didn't notice this change in him; instead, she looked puzzled as she asked him, "But she doesn't know you at all."
She really didn't recognize Simon. Had they met before?
The softness in Simon's eyes instantly turned into displeasure as he gave her a cold look without any politeness. He said coldly, "You're not your sister; how do you know if she knows me or not?"
Elisa was speechless for a moment. That’s right! Now she was “Hillary”.
As if thinking of something else entirely different now than just moments ago when he had been talking about surgery earlier with such ease while sitting down comfortably on the chair next to her bed... Simon got up and walked to the bookshelf, taking a file and throwing it into Elisa's hands.
Elisa saw how he moved so freely; he didn't look like someone with a limp at all!
"Your leg..."
"The treatment is still effective, but I need one more surgery," explained Simon briefly. He looked at her coldly and asked, "Miss Brooks, I assume you were forced to marry into the Iverson family?"
Elisa frowned. This man was indeed insightful. She answered truthfully, "Yes."
"Very well then. Sign the document in your hand and I will end our relationship as soon as possible. As for our elders' side of things, let me handle that too. However, there is one condition: we cannot interfere with each other's lives during this period."
Elisa couldn't have been happier about this arrangement even though she had come here on behalf of Hillary for marriage purposes only - if Simon didn't want her around anymore then that wasn’t her problem!
So Elisa agreed without hesitation: "No problem! Please take care of it quickly Mr.Iverson!"
After saying that she quickly signed three words on the document - Hillary.
Seeing her decisive action along with a hint of excitement in her eyes made Simon inexplicably annoyed... Did this little girl really hate him so much?
But never mind; once he got rid of this burden he could easily find the owner of his bracelet.

Elisa settled down smoothly in the Iverson family.
However, Simon told Diana that they needed time to develop their feelings before getting married officially.
Moreover, he still had an operation to undergo.
Although Elisa stayed in The Iverson Family mansion now which made everything easier for her than before when she was living alone outside... finding work became a difficult task for her due to having to use Hillary’s identity instead of being able to use hers as an Ivy League graduate. When recruitment companies saw her school of graduation, they rejected her outright.
"What was Hillary doing in college?"
Just as Elisa was angrily handing out resumes, a phone call suddenly came in.
She thought it was from HR but to her surprise, she heard Simon's voice on the other end: "Hillary, I want to know what your sister likes. For example, what kind of flowers does she like?"
Elisa widened her eyes in shock and spoke with difficulty: "You... why are you asking this? Are you going to find...find Elisa!"
"Mm-hmm. I'm near your house now."
