Chapter 48 Don't Go Crazy on Me
The more Simon refused to let her in, the more Hillary wanted to know what was inside. She continued holding onto the doorknob.
"Simon, why won't you let me in? I just want to see where you sleep. Is that too much to ask?"
Hillary looked sad and was about to cry. "Or is it because your room has some dirty secrets?"
"What are you thinking? What could be hidden in my room..."
While Simon explained, Hillary took advantage of his distraction and twisted the doorknob open.
But there was nothing in the room - no hidden objects or people.
And Simon hated people who acted without permission.
His room had always been off-limits except for close friends and even housekeepers needed his approval before cleaning it up.
Hillary's behavior today broke one of his biggest rules.
With a loud bang, Simon closed the door again and glared at her unhappily.
Hillary knew he was angry so she immediately apologized while grabbing onto his arm.
"Simon, I didn't mean anything else. I just wanted to see what your room looks like..."
"You wanted to check if there were other people in my room? You don't trust me that much?"
Simon's eyes were sharp as he spoke and Hillary couldn't look him straight in the eye anymore. She had to find an excuse and leave first.
"Simon, I came mainly for Hillary today. You can go downstairs for breakfast first..."
As soon as she finished speaking, Simon grabbed her arm back firmly.
She knew it! He still cared about her!
Just when Hillary turned around with excitement, Simon calmly reminded her: "You're going the wrong way; Her room is over there."
"Oh... okay."
Embarrassed by herself, she walked towards where Simon pointed while catching a glimpse of him not stopping her but heading downstairs directly!
It was obvious that Simon's attitude towards her had worsened!
With resentment, Hillary kicked open Elisa's room. She had to teach this girl a lesson!
Elisa, who just woke up, was startled by the noise.
As soon as she turned around, Hillary came at her aggressively and pulled her hair.
"Ah - what are you doing so early in the morning, Hillary!"
Elisa felt like her hair was about to be ripped off.
"What am I doing? Let me ask you: What did you say to Simon? Why is he so cold towards me now?"
Elisa thought she was unreasonable. How could it be blamed on herself if Simon treated her badly?
"I don't have time or interest in meddling with your relationship! Let go of me!"
Finally struggling free from Hillary's grip, Elisa didn't expect that she would fight back and fell directly onto the ground.
"Hillary! Did you take the wrong medicine today? It's because of your irrational behavior that Simon changed his attitude towards you. If you keep acting like this, no one will want you!"
"I'm being irrational? You're just feeling guilty for something! Even if Simon doesn't want me anymore, do you think he'll still want a promiscuous woman like yourself?"
Just as she finished speaking those words, Hillary saw a message light up on Elisa's phone screen and smirked while squinting her eyes.
"Elisa, today I'll show you who exactly is important to Simon."
The next second, Hillary screamed at the top of her lungs: "Don't hit me-"
In just a few seconds' time spanned out before an angry-looking Simon appeared with his gaze fixed upon crying Hillary lying on the floor.
