Chapter 38 Living in the Same Room
Looking at Elisa's smug little mouth, Simon wasn't angry. Instead, he found her tattling quite cute.
"I didn't say that," Simon shrugged and deliberately asked Elisa, "When did you hear me say that?"
Elisa felt like he was being unreasonable. Not long ago, he had complained to Hillary about her being a materialistic woman. Now he was denying it!
Diana pinched Simon and scolded him.
"Hillary is pregnant now. Don't make her angry for no reason. Your leg has almost healed so let's go home."
Under Diana's insistence, Elisa moved into the Iverson family as the hostess of the family.
Because she was pregnant, when they got off the car, everyone from Li Mansion came out to greet them which made Simon very upset.
All this fuss just for welcoming a wild seed?
And this time Diana thoughtfully arranged two rooms for them.
"Simon, I know you newlyweds like to stick together but for the safety of your child please bear with it these few months..."
While Elisa was eating on one side she heard Diana's words and choked on her food coughing uncontrollably.
Simon coldly snorted: "Mom, you're overthinking things. I'm not interested in her."
"What are you talking about? If you're not interested then how did she get pregnant? Did Hillary magically create a baby?"
"I don't know about that; ask her." Simon deliberately looked at Elisa.
Elisa felt ashamed and embarrassed: "It’s better to sleep separately; we have two rooms."
But Simon refused to comply: "How can I take care of her if we sleep separately? We'll share one room."
This made Elisa so mad that she kicked him under the table wondering why they couldn’t get along.
Diana still expressed concern, but Simon was very confident and said he wouldn't do anything to her.
"Mom, I can control myself." Simon smirked.
After dinner, Elisa dragged him into the room and asked angrily: "What's your intention? Why do you insist on sharing a room with me?"
"I'm monitoring you to prevent you from playing any tricks. What else could it be?"
Elisa gritted her teeth and took out her phone saying: "Okay then, I'll call my sister now and tell her that you insist on living in the same room as me."
But before she could even unlock her phone, Simon snatched it away from her.
"Are you threatening me?"
Elisa reached for it but couldn't reach due to his height advantage. She was helpless against him.
In the end, Elisa had no choice but to climb onto a chair flailing both hands trying to get back her phone. But she wasn’t careful enough and fell down accidentally.
Simon remembered that she was still in a dangerous period of pregnancy so he quickly hugged her tightly in his arms.
"Hillary, have you gone crazy? Don't you want the baby inside your belly anymore!" Simon scolded harshly.
Elisa was frightened; staring at him innocently: "Who told you to take my phone?"
She blamed herself? Simon was about to get angry when suddenly he noticed how red and plump Elisa's lips were. The scene of forcibly kissing her flashed through his mind making him stunned for a moment...
Her pink lips were slightly parted with natural soft lines which made it hard for Simon not to stare at them. Slowly leaning down...
