The Elementals: Chapter 42 Aftermath

The doctors were surprised by how quickly Sky recovered, we were less surprised, knowing that dragons heal faster than humans. I still feel incredibly grateful when the nurse unhooks Sky from all the machines and drips he has been on.
“Thats you all done sweety, you just need to wait until the doctor does his round to give you the final go ahead to leave.” The nurse says to Sky before hurrying away to other tasks.
“So it seems like we have some time to kill. The doctor won’t be here for at least an hour” Sky says sauntering towards me.
“Well we could get something to eat if you like” I reply.
“The only thing I want to eat is you.” He says pressing me against the wall and kissing me greedily.
“You need to heal and rest” I say when he lets me up for air.
“I have had more than enough of that, all I need right now if you.” He says between kisses which he places along my neck gently. My treacherous body melts into him and I moan as he strokes my thighs, lifting my skirt slowly. I know I should stop him and make him rest and that a few days without sex should not be this hard, but I’m hopelessly addicted to him and I just can’t say no.
Sky trails his hand up my inner thigh to my hips and then gently pulls my underwear down. He slips a finger inside me and moans “You are so wet for me”. With that, all his gentleness evaporates. Sky sets me down carefully and kisses me gently on the forehead. “Ok, now i’m ready to face the outside world.” He says happily.
“We probably should clean up before the doctor comes first” I say, trying to compose myself.
After the doctor clears Sky to leave, we head home to let him have a proper bath and a decent nights sleep. The next day I wake up to the delicious smell of pancakes and bacon and I walk through to the kitchen to see that Sky has cooked a whole breakfast buffet.
“I’m supposed to be looking after you, remember” I say.
“You are, I just wanted to cook breakfast for me fiancé and I didn’t know if you wanted sweet or savoury so I cooked both” Sky says smiling like none of the trauma of the past few days even happened.
“To be fair after days of hospital food, I think I will have both, thank you” I say tucking in to the mountain of food on the table.
“So today I get to see the air kingdom? and you know decide the fate of the sadistic bastard that sired me” Sky says nonchalantly.
“I can tell them to wait if you want?” I reply
“No, we should get it over with. Have you spoken to Hades?” Sky says.
“No, Rain has been watching him though and she says he isn’t up to anything so I trust her judgement” I say.
After breakfast we get changed into our professional clothes, Sky wears a black suit that I didn’t know he owned and I wear a black shirt dress. Black seemed the most appropriate choice given the circumstances.
We fly to the meeting and I formally introduce Sky to everyone.
“Are you sure he is an air bender? He looks so much like Ryder, even his eyes” Aires questions.
Sky answers by demonstrating and lifting the table up with air gently and then replacing it on the floor. “I have not been able to manipulate water, but I am happy to comply with a DNA test if you want me to prove my right to the water council seat.” Sky says.
“That will not be necessary, we all saw the video of Ryders confession. I knew your mother, I am glad that you take after her in all but appearance.” Aries says.
Sky smiles, but before he can ask more, River interrupts. “it is time for the initiation, if you are ready to accept your position” she says.
“I am” Sk says, presenting his arm to her. River uses ice to burn a dragon tattoo into Skys skin, his dragon has an extended hand to symbolise kindness and selflessness.
“Thank you for welcoming me to the council. I understand that my first act will be to decide the punishment for Ryder’s crimes. As such I would like to propose that he has his wings clipped and lives out the rest of his life in the cell in the underworld that he has become accustomed to the last few days.” Sky says calmly.
“He should be sentenced to death for his crimes” Aires says.
“Death would be too easy and if we kill him then we are no better than he is.” Sky says.
After a vote, the council agrees to Sky’s decision and the meeting is adjourned.
“Can I speak to you both please? In private” Hades asks grabbing my hand.
