Worlds Collide: Chapter 13 View
As soon as Juan finished eating, I shifted into my dragon form, eager to see more of this place before I leave. Juan reluctantly followed suit, changing into his red dragon and then lead the way. It is a beautiful clear day to soar through the sky and feel the breeze tickling my skin. I noticed many interesting places as we flew, but we didn’t stop until the forest opened out into a clearing and we reached a large tower over looking a vast lake.
We landed and I changed back to be able to speak to him. Juan changed back, but whereas all my clothes remained in tact, Juan stood completely naked. He did not hide or shy away though, standing with the confidence of a man who knows he is beautiful. I shamefully looked him over and admired his muscular physique. I hate to admit it, but I feel my desire spike and I’m reminded that it has been too long since another person has fulfilled my passions.
I open my mouth to flirt, but he holds up a hand. “You promised to behave” He says
“You failed to stipulate how I should behave and I am not the one who is naked.” I point out.
“Well I don’t know how you don’t rip your clothes when you change, but mine have never survived. I will go and get dressed, wait here.” He says and jogs into the tower giving me a lovely view of his perky cheeks flexing.
He returns before I stop myself mentally drooling. He is dressed in loose trousers and still buttoning a shirt.
“You live here?” I ask.
“Yes, when I’m not on duty.” He says.
“It’s beautiful” I say looking at the glistening lake as we begin to walk around it.
“It was my favourite place in the world before…” He trails off frowning
“Before what?” I ask
“I don’t like to talk about it.” He says coldly
“Well I’m guessing something bad happened that sucked the fun out of you” I say lightheartedly.
“That is one way to put it” He says.
“Raphael told me that he has stories about you that would make me blush” I tease.
“Don’t listen to that old man, he gets very confused” He says.
“I don’t think he was confused. Tell me, I bet you can’t make me blush” I dare him
“It would be inappropriate.” He says, fighting a smile as he recalls a memory.
“Well then, I shall try to make you blush and if I succeed then you have to tell me” I propose, interested in getting to know the human behind the walls he clearly has up.
“You won’t succeed” He says confidently.
As we walk, I recount as many stories as I can think of, starting out with the tamer ones and he face remains cold and detached the whole time. Becoming desperate, I pull him off the path and press him against a tree. I cup his package in my hand firmly and press my body against his. As I feel him harden in my hand I smile and watch him flush with the heat of arousal.
“I win, you are blushing” I say happily.
“You cheated” He says in a deeper voice than normal.
“We didn’t agree rules, so I can’t have cheated.” I return.
“You should let go, before you start something you can’t finish” He threatens.
“Oh I’d make sure we both finish” I say confidently, tightening my grip.
“You couldn’t handle me princess” He says removing my hand.
“Well if you are not going to satisfy my body, at least satisfy my curiosity” I say.
“Very well, when I was younger I had to train to become a lord. There were many different areas to study- fighting, cooking, business etc. My favourite was always seduction. The system has changed now that Ash and Ava are in charge, but it used to be that to be recognised you had to marry for power or status and so being able to seduce a women was a necessary skill. One which I practiced a lot. I loved to be in love, but it never lasted. After the lust wore off, we would both move on. I became more… experimental in seeking pleasure and less interested in finding love. Women and some men would beg me to stay with them, but I could not. My task was to marry the princess. I did better than most in that too, but Ava was already in love with Ash when I met her.” He explains.
“Wait you and the queen were a thing?” I ask confused
“I only got to meet her once, but I did get a kiss. I don’t think the king has ever fully forgiven me for that” He says, but smiles proudly.
“So tell me, what exactly does the seduction skill look like?” I ask interested
“A magician never reveals his tricks” He says secretively
I spend the rest of our walk trying to coax more information out of him, but it is like talking to a brick wall.
“Would you like a drink before we return?” He offers when we reach the tower.
“Yes please.” I answer, surprised to have been invited inside his home.
He leads me up the spiralling stairs and past several doors until we reach an open lounge area. There is a bar on one side, a fire place on the other and some plush sofas with several books dotted around. It felt much more welcoming and homely than I expected. I pictured him as an all black decor kind of guy. He hands me a glass and as I sip I’m surprised that it is alcoholic.
“Trying to see whether alcohol is my weakness?” I ask
“Maybe” He admits
“Well I should warn you that my tolerance is higher than most, dragons have a good metabolism” I explain
“As is mine, but not because of metabolism, just because of practice.” He says almost sadly.
“Then another time I will challenge you to a drinking game, but for now we better get back to meet the professor.” I say finishing my drink quickly.
