I narrow my eyes on Nolan. He better not say something stupid right now or I swear I’ll kick his ass. We are leaving in a few hours so he and the others can marry Bryn, and I’m not going to let him screw that up. “I don’t want you taking birth control.” He says.

Bryn gives him a confused look. “Why?”

“I don’t want you to deal with the side effects of the pills. The chances of you getting pregnant are the same if we use alternate protection, so why put all that in your body when we can handle it on our part? You shouldn’t have to do that.” He says and I nod in approval.

“Oh.” Bryn looks stunned by his words but slowly smiles. “Thank you.”

Nolan nods and gives her his usual smile. It’s barely there but it’s there. The guy is too serious for his own good but he loves Bryn and she loves him so I guess we’ll keep him around.

“So we all agree to wait for the next baby when Bryn says she’s ready?” I ask the group.

“Agreed.” The rest of the guys say together.

“Good, now let's eat because I'm starving.” I fill a plate up with some eggs and bacon.

We all start eating and fall into casual conversation.

“I can’t wait for you guys to see what I planned!” Bryn says excitedly.

Her beautiful face lights up. She has never been good at keeping things a surprise because she gets too excited, so she spills about the house she rented for us. When she says that my manager helped her find it I just laugh. I’m not mad because this little surprise is making her so happy. She hasn’t mentioned the photos yet and I’m hoping we can avoid the subject as much as possible until our trip is over.

Maddox and I have another week before we have to play our first game, so we’re going to enjoy this trip as much as possible. I also can’t wait to see my pretty wife with a bikini on. Maybe I can convince her to wear nothing at all.

“So what do we need to do first today?” I ask once we’re all done eating.

“I didn’t find a dress for the ceremony. I wanted to see if I could find something traditional here to wear.” Bryn says biting her lip.

She looks worried that we would be upset that she didn’t buy anything yet.

“I think that’s a great idea sweetheart!” Maddox says giving her a sickly sweet smile.

He pulls her into his side and kisses her on the side of the head.

“Alright give her here. I swear I have to fight just to get a minute with her.” I tease him.

Maddox laughs and stands and motions for me to take his spot. Even though I was kidding I miss her and I’ll take it. I slide over and wrap my arms around her burying my face in her neck. She laughs and tilts her head to let me do what I need to do.

“Missed you, baby,” I whisper in her ear.

She shivers and I smile against her neck. She’s so responsive and I love it. It’s been too long, and I have to bite back a groan. I’ll be stealing her away tonight for sure. I’m cool with sharing with the guys but I need some time with her alone.

“Can I sleep with you tonight?” I ask her.

She pulls her head back to look at me and gives me a sad smile. “Of course!”

I cuddle up against her again like a clingy koala and she doesn’t bat an eye. She never pushes any of us away when we get clingy like this. I think she loves it just as much. The only one I don’t think cuddles with her is Nolan, but he isn’t the warm and fuzzy type.

“Why don’t you feed Henry again and I’ll ask the front desk where we can go to shop for your dress,” Nolan says.

He heads out and the rest of us break apart to get ready for the day. After she’s done with Henry I grab him and bring him into the living room to let her get ready. The other guys join me not long later and I roll my eyes at Jaxon’s outfit.

“You look like a rich snotty asshole,” I tell him.

He smirks and slides a pair of aviator sunglasses on. “I look like a guy on vacation.”

The guy is wearing a pair of white shorts, a polo shirt, and loafers. Loafers!

I roll my eyes. “You look like you shit gold.”

He scoffs and grabs one of the complimentary water bottles in the small fridge. Maddox had taken Henry into Bryn’s room when he fell asleep and decided to change in there. When he walks out and sees Jaxon he bursts out laughing.

“What the hell Jax? Are you some sort of fairytale prince wannabe?” He teases.

Jaxon scoffs. “I look good. You’re all just jealous.”

“Where did you get that polo? Target?” I ask with a laugh. “That’s about as rich as you can afford my friend.”

It’s no secret that cops don’t get paid well, and although we all contribute Maddox and I pay for a lot. We don’t care that the other guys don’t make as much and are cool with paying for the big stuff like the house and Bryn’s new car. We all share the cost of food, but otherwise, Nolan and Jaxon handle their own shit with what they make.

Maddox and I handle the house, our cars, and anything for Bryn and Henry. It works for us but I know it can be a little bit of a tense subject for Jaxon. He’s a man who takes pride in caring for his family, but he doesn’t make enough to pay for big things like our extra-large house. He does what he can and we appreciate it but don’t expect him to give up too much of his paycheck. Besides as of now Bryn is my wife so it’s my job and pleasure to take care of her and my son.
Money can be a touchy subject with so many guys but so far we’ve found a system that works. This kind of teasing is light-hearted and Jaxon doesn’t seem actually upset, so we enjoy messing with him.

“Actually it was a gift. From my mom.” He grumbles the last part and we burst out laughing. “Ha Ha, laugh it up assholes.”

“Don’t tell me that's what you’re going to wear to the wedding. Or did your Mom buy you a suit as well?” I ask him with a smirk.

He flips me off. “No asshole I bought my own suit thank you very much and I’m going to be the best-looking guy there.”

We just laugh and he scowls like he’s butt hurt which only makes it funnier.

Nolan gives Jaxon a once over and shakes his head like he can’t be bothered to even react. I don’t know how when Jaxon looks like a washed-up Abercrombie model. That thought just makes me crack up even more. When the door to Bryn’s room opens all laughter ends and I nearly swallow my tongue.

She’s wearing one of those half shirts and a flowing skirt that stops just above her knees. When she moves even just a little you can see a split that shows a good section of her leg. Her hair is pulled into a ponytail with a few strands framing her face, and she’s wearing a little bit of makeup.

“Holy shit Angel you look delicious as Fuck,” Jaxon says taking the words right out of my mouth.

Bryn has always been absolutely beautiful but these new curves make her even more delicious to look at. All I want to do is throw her over my shoulder and take her back into the room to have my way with her. Then she smiles and knocks the wind right out of me. I don’t think there will be a day when she doesn’t drive me crazy.

“Thanks! You look very nice too.” She gives Jaxon a smile that looks a little uncertain.

“Not you too.” He groans and pouts.

Bryn laughs sweetly. “You do look very handsome, but it’s not very you.”

“I was trying to look like I was on vacation,” Jaxon says throwing his hands in the air.

“Is this the only kind of thing you packed?” She asks sweetly.

“Yes.” He huffs.

“Okay! You really do look handsome, so don’t worry.” She lifts herself to her toes and kisses him on the cheek.

He turns and wraps his arms around her pulling her in for a less PG kiss and winks at us over her head. Asshole.
